You're right about not bothering with the gita. we only need gurbani. If we didnt Guru would have said. Gita is from times gone by. If we need the Gita in Kalyug, then would we have needed Guru Nanak, or could we have just kept Sri Krishan Bhagwaan from the previous yug?
