Persons propagating against Dasam granth say that Dasam bani is full of eulogy for Hindu devtas.
They say so because it has stories of Avtars. Their statement stems out of ignorance as Dasam granth
is more explicit in denouncing avtarvad than SGGS ji.

That shows the haters of Guru Gobind singh sahib's bani have either not read Dasam Granth or they have
not understood it. The purpose of this thread is to invite them for discussion so that they reveal basis of their conclusions.

Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakaal!
Dear all!

I request anybody's Guru Mind Singh Khalsa to provide the birthday data, place of birth and time etc. of a Devi or a Deva.
Please do this favor to the mankind. I will also be grateful.

Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakaal!
Dear all!

Is it possible for someone to note down at least the death time and place of a Devi or a Deva?
I hope some are aware of all that happens. Please respond.

Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakaal!
Dear all!

Are there only twenty-four Avtaars as explained in the Dasam Granth?
What will be the name of God when the first letters of Chaubis (twenty-four) Avtaars are combined?
Will God's Attributes then change or remain the same?

My curiosity is to know.

Dasam granth sahib talks about twenty four avtars. Guru sahib writes
Akal purakh created them and they were mere mortals. So in essence
Akal purakh is supreme.

Dear all and Singh2 Jee!

Thanks for your reply.

You wrote "Dasam granth sahib talks about twenty four avtars."

Guru Arjan Dev Jee is singing.
Koti Bisan keene avtaar. SGGS Ang 1156

Dasam Granth Sahib talks about twenty-four particular Avtaars. Why are they special?

Quote "Guru sahib writes Akal purakh created them and they were mere mortals. So in essence Akal purakh is supreme."
Does the word 'Akal purakh' occur in the Dasam Granth?

Dear all and Singh2 Jee!

I feel when Guru Jee uses a particular word it delivers a special message. It is not needed to replace that word with our choice.
Now please let all know where Guru Jee has explained. Who created them (Avtaars)?

I asked for your help as you may be knowing though style of your questioning is that akal purakh does not occur in Dasam
Granth sahib.

Instead of answering my question you are dodging and putting another question.
Will you please let us know about akal purakh coming in Dasam granth or not?

I did not know that Sayaam means poet Shyam.

Chaubis avtar

It measn that poet is narrating composition chaubis avtar. Poet says he is writing as he understands them.

And next two lines

ਸੁਨੀਅਹੁ ਸੰਤ ਸਭੈ ਚਿਤ ਲਾਈ ॥
सुनीअहु संत सभै चित लाई ॥
O saints; listen to it attentively.

ਬਰਨਤ ਸਯਾਮ ਜਥਾ ਮਤ ਭਾਈ ॥੧॥
बरनत सयाम जथा मत भाई ॥१॥
The poet Shyam is narrating it according or his own under-standing.1.

It means that Oh saints listen with attention. Poet ( he has given his name shayam) is construting it s per his understanding.

Now to a normal man there is no doubt about this transalation. I do not know why you are fabricating your own translations.

Dear balbir ji

It is good you came straight and committed yourself. There is no going back now by jugglery of words.

Please read below

ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਕੀ ਰਛਾ ਹਮਨੈ ॥
अकाल पुरख की रछा हमनै ॥
The non-temporal Purusha (All-Pervading Lord) is my Protector.

ਸਰਬ ਲੋਹ ਕੀ ਰਛਿਆ ਹਮਨੈ ॥
सरब लोह की रछिआ हमनै ॥
The All-Steel Lord is my Protect

Akal ustati

Word akal purakh comes from dasam granth sahib only.
