That arth will make it clear that Waheguru jee wants people to keep Kesh. Note: There are many more arths of the above Gurbani tuks. You can listen to Gyani jee. He states the uthanka for the above shalok too.  Please start listening after 1:01:00 min:     Bhul chuk maaf

    • There is no doubt that Sangat is very important, but it has to be Saadh Sangat(Sangat of holy men), where praises of Waheguru jee are being sung. ANG 71 ਸਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਕੈਸੀ ਜਾਣੀਐ ॥ ਜਿਥੈ ਏਕੋ ਨਾਮੁ ਵਖਾਣੀਐ ॥ If there are kids playing around, people chirping away, cell phones ringing, sounds coming from langar halls, socialization inside the darbar, people dressed inappropriately, etc, IMHO, one might not gain much there. Some spiritual high people might be fine with it, but most likely, many spiritual beginners would prefer a quieter environment of dedicated individuals. There is a good chance that one might find sangat of such individuals at Amritvela. Also, large numbers in sangat do not always indicate greater positive vibrations in the air.  Which one would be better? - A 1000 Manmukhs (like me) in sangat or one Sadhu? The positive vibrations emitted by that one Sadhu will be more than that of hundreds of ordinary men. Individual preference also comes into play. Some people prefer smaller sangats and are uncomfortable in larger crowds. Nothing wrong with that choice. Sikhism has solutions for different kinds of mindsets. Even if, one is not able to find any Gurudwara where they find peace, one must never stop going to Gurudwaras (preferably on a daily basis). Bandana (Bowing) to Sri Satguru jee is a form of Bhagti. There are many benefits of bowing to Waheguru jee. Additionally, one can also do Parikaram of Maharaaj jee. Parikarma is a form of seva/worship. @das - Thanks for the informative post.   Bhul chuk maaf
    • Brother, you can get a Sri Sampat Akhand Path done for the removal of Black Magic. Magic (Sihr) involves a contract with a Jinn to affect the victim. Srimaan 108 Sant Gyani Gurbachan Singh jee Khalsa Bhindranwale used the following shabad as a Sampat, for removal of negative entities from the house of a Singh.
