In one of the posts papimaan wrote that women aren't qualified to take Amrit at hazur sahib.. This is actually really wrong.. I know many Bibis who took Amrit from Sri hazur sahib( not the kard Amrit but the khandey di bata amrit)...
Just to clarify...

Secondly women did many other things other than be in the kitchen for example they were kirtanis, katha vachaks, warriors etc... They wernt stuck in the kitchens to make us a sandwich

Thirdly the damdami taksal ALLOWS women to do every seva except for panj pyara di seva... Last year I went to a taksali program and there was a female katha vachak who you could say was taksali... There were many taksalis at the same program... In satkirans mind she probably would have thought the taksalis would have beaten the female parcharak off the stage lol...

Fourthly the Damdami taksal does not think of women less than men... I have met with many real Taksal students not taksali wannabes(mostly the wannabes are from the west who think they are so hardcore cause they are wearing a ddt hoodie on) who put women is such a high pedestal... The wannabes have no knowledge of the granths so they interpret stuff to their limited gyan...

What happened in th Sakhi is that a Singh got captured by Mughals and they circumcised him, cut his hair, fed him halal meat(not jhatka) and did Muslim rites on that Singh. When the Singh was freed he came to maharaj Ji and told maharaj Ji the whole ordeal. Maharaj Ji asked if he had sexual intercourse with a Muslim woman and the Singh said no. Maharaj Ji said that you are still a sikh of maharaj Ji. This is the gist of this Sakhi.

Satkiran just stop... Something's you say are really way off. Guru hargobind sahib Ji had I think 3 or 4 wives. Guru gobind Singh Ji had 3 wives. It wouldn't shock me if the 7th guru had 8 wives. Also just because you read some parts of dasam Granth and say how could that be attributed to guru cause it doesn't follow your thinking doesn't make it wrong.. Sri charitarphkiyan is a bani about the character of humans and in there it is written about both men and women so get your facts straight.. Most of the Khalsa Rehit is from dasam Granth.. In dasam Granth you get the ardaas, it tells the kakaars, it tells who the guru is etc... Without dasam Granth the panth would be completely different... The whole dasam Granth is guru gobind Singh Ji's writings... Sri sarbloh Granth is guru Ji's writing as well. Sri hazur sahib, Sri Patna sahib, nihang dals all have Sri dasam Granth with Guru Granth Sahib. Up until 1945 Sri dasam Granth and Sri Guru Granth Sahib were on the same level parkash in akaal takht.. So satkiran just speak what you know about.

Do all women do injections? Nobody in India does it and no amritdhari would do it cause it is not natural. The reason for keeping our hair or not peircing our ears is to be all natural. It wouldn't be natural if women do injection or drugs etc.
I don't have a peoblem with women doing seva(excluding panj pyare seva) but dont do it when on period. I think 99 percent of amritdhari bibis would agree with me.

English translations are crap by the way. If you want to know the meaning of gurbani to the full extent than the only way is by reading them in punjabi. One of the best steeks is the faridkot Vala teeka but the punjabi is so hard that it's even hard for me to understand!

Yes he should avoid seva until his finger heals. Imagine if the band aid came off and and he was doing langar seva. That would be no hygienic.
It's not brahmnisim(I think you do not understand this word cause your throwing it aroun all over the place) its a matter of being clean. If I went to the washroom and did number 2 can I go and do seva or hukamnama? No because I would not be clean. Same thing with the period for women.

The demand to allow baptised Sikh women to perform kirtan and seva inside the sanctum sanctorum of the Golden Temple raised a controversy again at a seminar organised by the Global United Sikh Women Organisation here today.

When Dr Mohinder Kaur Gill, a Sikh scholar, wanted the inclusion of baptised women among Panj Piyare ( Five Beloved Ones), Jathedar, Akal Takht, Giani Gurbachan Singh chided her for raising such sensitive issues publicly. He, however, said such matters should have been taken up by the sub-committee of SGPC representatives, Akal Takht, Sikh intellectuals and baptised women.

Rajinder Singh Mehta, member, executive committee, SGPC, at the function said women could not be allowed to participate in Panj Piyare or perform kirtan/seva due to a variety of reasons. He said the Almighty had differentiated man from woman at the time of birth, hence nobody should raise such a demand.

Dr Mohinder Kaur, contradicting her own point, said the SGPC had given certain administrative reasons for disallowing women to clean the sanctum sanctorum or carry Guru Granth Sahib in a palanquin, but there was no valid reason to deny them a chance to perform kirtan.

Bibi Jagir Kaur, after taking over as SGPC chief in 1999, had announced to treat baptised women on a par with men for discharging religious duties in the Golden Temple. Earlier, then acting Jathedar, Akal Takht, Prof Manjit Singh had taken a jatha of baptised women to perform seva in the sanctum sanctorum, along with wife of Harbhajan Singh Yogi. Later, notwithstanding her announcement on February 3, 2003, Bibi Kiranjot Kaur, a former general secretary, SGPC, could not arrange kirtan in the sanctum sanctorum.

Gender discrimination in the Golden Temple was highlighted at the international level on February 15, 2003, when two England-based Sikh women were allegedly assaulted by SGPC sevadars during sukhasan (carrying Guru Granth Sahib in palanquin) in the Golden Temple .

Earlier, at the seminar Dr Upinderjit Kaur, education minister, said to preserve moral and ethical values in society, women should have to do introspection to awaken society ethically, morally and artistically by eradicating social evils.

Women and organisations, including GND University, Punjabi University, SGPC, Kendri Sri Guru Singh Sabha, Chandigarh, and Naad Pargaas Sri Amritsar participated in the seminar. The minister congratulated Dr Jasbir Kaur, president, and said such seminars would help form an ideal society.

What the hell are you talking about??? The DDT have no control over Harmandar sahib so how would they stop bibis from doing kirtan there? It is the Akaal Takhat who is run by the sgpc which you believe wholeheartedly who banned them.

Is there any proof that some Singhs asked gyani ji? Anybody could say that I met gyani ji and he said this or that. There should be hard evidence such as video or audio with gyani ji.

Just watched the video again and in no place did he say "yes I said kiss me". He first asked what happened between us.. Then she said you tried to kiss me and then they cut the audio so we never heard his response. He said that it's all in her mind etc. In no way did he incriminate himself. This is utter crap. In the video she even says she already had her own problems etc and gyani ji calls her paranoid that it's all in her mind.
I am 99 percent sure he never said anything like that and if he did he probably joked with her by saying kiss me. Why did she even hug him?? If she grew up in India an Indian woman would not hug another man no matter if he is a respectable person or a fatherly figure. Its a matter of izat. So after all this proof I think most likely this is a false allegation.

Somebody should contact gyani ji about this and hear his side of the story if infact that is his voice. He said he was at a program and he couldn't talk etc and he would call in a couple of days. Where is the couple of days video??? Listen to the audio without the video and listen to what he says.

I met gyani ji this April in India and he is real chardikala.

I highly doubt that this is authentic. There are many people who try framing gyanis, kathavachaks, sants etc. I remember. Couple of yet ago people tried framing Gyani Balbir Singh damdami taksal wale. People also tried framing dhadrianwale, maan Singh pehowa etc. I remember some missionaries were trying to frame some taksalis and visa versa.

In the article it says that the Granth is older then both panth prkash and Sri gurprtap suraj Granth and should have more credibility which it should but then the tapobanis make themselves hypocrites. Gurbilas patshahi 6 was written I think 10 years after Sri guru gobind Singh ji joti jot and in gurbilas patshahi 6 it says that raag mala was read. These tapobanis and akjs don't believe this at all.
