But we should also be aware of that opening Dasam Duar,  is not like buying a ticket and going there, for Dasam Duar is a higher level of consciousness, to which we can go graduallly by crossing the levels prior to it.
Everyone is eager to reach what we keep on hearing others say, but almost none say what they have gone through before reaching at some particular point or beyond even...
The thing is to keep oneself steadfast in doing our devotion/bhakti with regularity and punctuality without any expectations, and have unwavering faith and love in Him, for in the end and above anything, it is His kirpa which counts  in any spiritual progress.
The more we do His nishkam bhakti, the more we are likely to draw His grace upon us, and the more grace we receive, the more we get purified, and the more get purified, the higher we shall be able raise our soul consciousness within ourselves.
So sangat jee, the key in our relation with Him and pleasing Him, is our unconditional love for Him, and the time we dedicate ourselves in meditating upon Him. 
With this practice, then what to say of Dasam Duar, for even Sach Khand, the highest realm of Truth  is at our hand.

In the first verse, it is said that the whole world is burning.....
But burning in which way?
Well, the whole creation is burning in the "chaurasee ka ckakar", in the endless cycle of births and deaths.
And the way to get out is mainly by His grace.
 
Then, in the second verse it is said save it  by anyway you think fit.
But the complete interpretation would be best, if we look at the third verse, where it is said:
ਸਤਿਗੁਰਿ ਸੁਖੁ ਵੇਖਾਲਿਆ ਸਚਾ ਸਬਦੁ ਬੀਚਾਰਿ ॥
Sathigur Sukh Vaekhaaliaa Sachaa Sabadh Beechaar ||
The True Guru has shown the way to peace, contemplating the True Word of the Shabad.
 
Here Guru Jee is very clear, and goes right to the root of the problem to solve it, for as we can see He says that, by contemplating /meditating on the Shabad/Nam as per teachings in Gurmat, we obtain eternal peace and bliss, for it is only by meditating on Nam or Shabad, that one gets freed from the burning cycle of births and deaths, and it is only by doing this bhakti that we merge in our Origin, Akal, Ajoonee, Satnam....

One more thing I would like to add in this beautiful thread is that, be it any Brahmgyani of any time, past, present or future, they meet or give darshan to those only who are mentioned to Them by Waheguru Akal Purukh.
Nobody can ever do anything by their own will, it is all Waheguru´s Hukum.  This we have to bear in mind, be it Guru Sahiban, be it Sant Jan, be it Gurmukhs, be it Bhagat Jan.... all act under  the Hukum of Waheguru.
Then also, related to this topic, I read sometime ago, that Brahmgyanis are like someone standing on top of the hill at night, from where  they can see the houses  down there which have the lights switched on,  thus those are the ones they go to visit or arrange in someway to meet them and give them whatever Waheguru´s hukum is for them.
Having said that, none of us know where or who is a Brahmgyani, for not knowing, we don´t even know what is going on in our next room, so how to look for that Brahmgyani?
Nevertheless, there is still an option left for us  by His grace, and that is to switch on the light of His Nam within us, by meditating on His sachaa  Nao, as seen throughout the Bani.
Who knows, when that Brahmgyani sees that the Jot of His Nam is lit within us through the Jaap of it  from the top of the hill, thus arrange accordingly to meet Them.
Brahmgyanis need not like us to go physically anywhere, for them the whole "kaynat" is an open book, right from Sach Khand to Patal Lok, nothing is hidden from them, thus they see the Jot in those beings from anywhere thery maybe, and know that they have an order for that jeeva from Akal Purukh to be delivered
Physicall darshan of Them is lovely, is most beautiful, is most valuable, is balhaar, but their real darshan is the one of Their spiritual form.
What mahima  to sing of Their physical darshan? Not everybody values it. 
For example, Prithi Chand had Akal Purukh as his father, and another form of Akal Purukh as his brother, but inspite of living under the same roof and having Their physical darshan 24 x 7 , he did not recognize the reality of Them, thus remained wicked as he was .
It is by having the spiritual darshan of Them, that one stops commiting nonsense, for then, there is quite some spiritual purity in us by Their grace, thus be able to have Their darshan.

Do not try to do anything, just pay attention to your Simran. It is a total mind cleanser.

You see, we may ask why is it so difficult to do dhyan of Wahiguru, though we also know, He is formless ....

We must bear in mind, we are filled with the filth of countless karmas, sanskaras, vasnas, mind, bodies etc .....so many layers of dirt accumulated on us .....

Just for example, you have a thousand watts bulb, and you wrap it with black cloth with several rounds on it.

What will happen? The light will get shun.

In the same way, Wahiguru Akal Purukh is within us, with such a Jot refulgence, that even millions o¡f Suns and moons together, will fall down in shame...

So, you see, everything is within us, even the creator Wahiguru; but, the problem is with us, our spiritual sight has to be opened. And the only medicine which can do so, is His aukhad Naam.

So, no matter, if we close our eyes, and we see darkness only, even then, we should persist, persist and persist...then a day will come, when He will make Himself pargat within us.

Even if we die and it may seem we have achieved nothing, there is no need to worry, His bhakti does not go in waste, in our next bith, with His Grace, we shall get better envoirments, in order to do His bhakti, even more efficiently, so that in the end our soul drop, merges in Satnam Samundar.

QUESTION :IF MY QUALITY IS LOVE, WHY DOSENT THIS NATURAL PERFUME SUPRESS OTHER FRAGRANCES?
ANSWER :It is because the soul´s journey is much longer than one lifetime.
 
For example — I the soul playing the part wearing this bodily costume — develop a habit of self criticism. This sanskar leaves a deep imprint on me. Now when I leave this body and
take another one I will carry along this sanskar of self criticism with me.
No doubt others influence us, but we influence ourselves the most. That's why we cannot blame others for how we are feeling.
Whenever someone gives me 'criticism' or 'appreciation' I get a result only when I use it.
His role was only limited to giving me that 'gift'. The way the gift is used and the result it brings are not in his control. That power lies completely with me.
So let's put a full stop to whatever others have said in the past or are saying today.
My energy is my own creation and I have the power to create my thoughts irrespective of what I receive from outside.
The power lies only with ME. Always remember the thoughts I create are completely independent of the influence of the OUTER WORLD.
The remote control of my mind needs to be only in my hands. This is something that I need to remind myself each day, because it is very easy easy to succumb to BLAMING OTHERS.
Blaming others means holding people or situations responsible for how we are feeling.
COMPLAINING means means finding fault with everything and everyone.
We consider it normal and continue complaining without realizing the impact it is having on us.
There is a vast difference in COMPLAINING and having a CONCERN.
We need to understand this very clearly, COMPLAINING depletes our energy, and many of the times we are complaining about things that are not in our CONTROL.
COMPLAINING means focusing on the problem, and CONCERN is focusing on the solution.
We need to start RE-Programming our mind : AS ONLY , WE ARE RESPONSIBLE  FOR OUR LIFE

It is very true what you say, but I would also add, that hardly anyone either talks about Waheguru, Nam, Shabad, and Sach Khand.
Gurbani clearly and repeatedly tells us what to do in order to please Him, thus get His kirpa and cross the Mahabhavsagar. Then, who is to be blamed? 
Kalyug is in full force, and if we do not profit ourselves from the Light of Truth as described in the Bani, we are likely to get derailed.
It is by taking the Medicine that one gets "cured", not by reading, or repeat it memorizedly, nor looking at the prescription; and no matter even if one does so 24/7.
On the other side, just by taking the 2 or 3 doses per day, as prescribed, one regains good health, which in our terms is "sanity".

Can Naam Simran Help In Curing Diseases/problems?
 
Well, so to say to an extent Nam simran does cure diseases....
Having said that, what is the biggest disesase that one has?
It is being born from a mother´s womb.
So in a way, Nam simran does cure us from this disease for once and ever. The birth is the mother of all other troubles and problems, and having cured this mother disease, all others simply never have a chance to arise.
This the great and supreme importance of Nam simran, it attaches our surtee to that ultimate and highest Truth, namely Satnam which is by itself ajoonee. 
Thus we to become ajoonee and deathless, for we merge into Him, who is far beyond and above births, deaths, and any trace of Maya.
We should not forget, that uniting with him is the only purpose of Nam simran, it also purifies us to the extent that we do not incurr in any significant karmas which may pull us back into the mayavee creation, and at the same time give us the enough strength to face bravely the karmas in our destiny store, and also with the water of His apaar kirpa, wash away our limitless stock of karmas which we have been collecting since we stepped into the mayavee creation, with the agravant of addding more and more karmas in each birth without having cleared even 1% of the already previous karmas.
The law of karmas works in this way:
We do come in each birth with X amount of karmas, yet we may add  Y amount of karmas in that birth, or settle the karmas in that human birth, and with the kirpa of Nam simran, as said above minimize incurring in siginificant karmas, thus cut off for once and ever our karmic ties in this alien mayavee land, and go back to our Nijh Ghar in Sach Khand.

But Guru Jee for sure tells us that: 
ਨਾਉ ਤੇਰਾ ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰੁ ਹੈ ਨਾਇ ਲਇਐ ਨਰਕਿ ਨ ਜਾਈਐ ॥
Naao Thaeraa Nirankaar Hai Naae Laeiai Narak N Jaaeeai ||
Your Name is the Fearless Lord; chanting Your Name, one does not have to go to hell.
 
Further on He tells us: 
ਜਮ ਦਰਿ ਬਧਾ ਚੋਟਾ ਖਾਏ ॥
Jam Dhar Badhhaa Chottaa Khaaeae ||
Bound and gagged at Death's Door, they are brutally beaten.
ਬਿਨੁ ਨਾਵੈ ਕੋ ਸੰਗਿ ਨ ਸਾਥੀ ਮੁਕਤੇ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਵਣਿਆ ॥੪॥
Bin Naavai Ko Sang N Saathhee Mukathae Naam Dhhiaavaniaa ||4||
Without the Name, there are no companions or friends. Liberation comes only by meditating on the Naam
 
Moreover, again He tells us:
ਜਮਕਾਲੁ ਤਿਸੁ ਨੇੜਿ ਨ ਆਵੈ ਜੋ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਵਣਿਆ ॥੬॥
Jamakaal This Naerr N Aavai Jo Har Har Naam Dhhiaavaniaa ||6||
The Messenger of Death does not draw near those who meditate on the Name of the Lord, Har, Har. 
 
He clearly warns us, that only thse who meditate on His Nam, shall be saved, for even the messenger of death dare not come near them.
We do not have to be very intelligent, thus to understand, that those who do not do this bhakti as seen in the verses above, shall be drowned in the terrible hell of the wheel  of "chaurasee ka ckakar" where only severe pain and agongy exists.
What other bigger hell can there be? Guru Sahiban do not want to frighten us with te reality of hell, but rather motivate and uplift us, with  the gyan of ultimate Truth, His sachaa Nao.
Life by itself is a hell,  for we are already away from Him since so long, and alas, we do nothing to make the most of this golden opportunity of human birth,  by running after all other external practices, except that one, of the jaap of the gurparasd of His Nam, as per throughout the Bani.

1) If Guru Jee  gave me darshan, I would hug Him so tight, that I will make Him enter my heart, and never ever let Him go. 😇😇😇 .
     DARSHAN DEKH JEEVA GUR TERA POORAN KARAM HOVAY PRABH MERA.
2) If He gave me "darshan", that would mean, He is revealing Himself to me by His grace and by His own will.
    Otherwise, it would not be called darshan, for that would be called "seeing".
    Thus there is definetely quite a big difference in seeing and being blessed with darshan.

Is Celibacy the key to Genius?
 
It depends  from what perspective does one takes that state of being.  From the question as per this thread, and If I am not wrong  think the OP refers being nearer to the divine.
You see if possible, absistence from kaam, is always helpful  for stepping into spirituality, provided one attaches oneself  to  His Lotus Feet, through nishkam bhakti, otherwise, if not , and one is still devoted to Him, then too, He is so Dayalu, that by sincerely engaging in His bhakti, all our vikars will fade away or subdued in due time, that is nothing more to us, then about His apaar kirpa and beant wadeeayee.
That is why Guru Sahiban tells us in the Bani: Prabh ka simran man kee mael jaae. 
His simran, purifies us from all our impurities, such as: vikars, paaps, past sanskars, panj chor....
You see, it is only attachment which can create detachment in us. This means, attachment to His Lotus Feet, detaches us totally from maya,  panj chor, and every other thing which can be an obstacle between us and Him.
Once again, it is all His kirpa only, by which we get nearer to Him, to the extent, that one day we merge in Him.
Words fail to describe or sing even a tiny bit of His  infinite  glory.

apart from from seeing a doctor, take the medicine of which Gurbani tells us about: Sarb rog ka aukhad Nam.
Try doing Nam japna of Waheguru or Satnam with a start of 10 miuntes, you may gradually increase, you need no particular place nor time, you may do it while waiting, walking or going  somewhere it will have a purfying effect in you, but do not think it will be instantly. We are all absolutely sinners, so it may take time to get cleansed, but definetely we have to start taking our daily dose, increase it gradually, it has no side effects, and the more you take or do it, the healthier you will become, physically, mentally, spiritually.
All our miseries and pains  are due to our polluted minds, once the filth starts getting removed with Nam japna, we will become better and better ...

And sharing my 2 cents on this topic, I would say the start to fight lust has to do with awareness.
Then also though all methods are to keep lust at some distant line, the reality is, only when we give the mind a better and higher taste, (for the mind is a constant runner after pleasures and tastes), like engaging in His bhakti and tasting the Amrit of Nam within, then only will it stop hankering after  kaamee desires and its fulfillment.... 
His holy Name, will not only remove the kaam from its roots, but as well free us from all other vikars.
His Name, is the not only antidote for all our maladies, but also  the only link also which truly reunites us with  Him, the most immaculate and purest,  Waheguru Akal Purukh.
