Crystal got a reaction from hsingh6 in Nidar Singh Nihang's translation of Charitro Pakhyan is out
The most wondrous tale of deception of all, relating the endeavour of the humble dust-like human spirit seeking to attain onto Mahakal/Brahm, is found in the final charitter 405. Upon its conclusion, the Guru pens the most beautiful of prayers to which justice cannot be done in any translation. Penned, it is said in the thick of battle by the Guru on making an arrow tip his quill and his own blood the ink, it has the most magical of effects upon one’s mind, heart and soul. It is a decidedly heartfelt and exquisite plea to the supreme deity Brahm/Mahakal to protect the Guru and his Sikhs from their evil enemies who sought their very annihilation. This supplication, the Benti Chaupai, encapsulates the very spiritual essence of sikhi; the absolute unstinting belief in nirguna transcendental Brahm. If any Sikh has doubts with regards to Pakhyaan Charitter, let them, on considering the exquisite nature of this final prayer, reflect how the rest of the work can be so poor if its ending is as such. Beautiful as the Benti Chaupai is, so is the poetry of the rest of the Pakhyaan Charitter. On concluding this prayer Guru Gobind Singh lays out the benefits of listening to and reflecting upon the Pakhyaan Charitter:"

Crystal got a reaction from Premi in Sympathetic?
    Good morning all,

This has been on my mind for a while, we know about the recent beheadings and killings reportedly carried out by Isis. Many Punjabi's who I know are very sympathic towards the victims. So I want to put the question why are punjabis(Sikhs) more inclined to get upset over the Isis beheadings? At no point do I believe a life is more important than someone else's, unless the person is a rapist or a child molestor in that case I have no emotions towards vile like that. Why aren't punjabis/Sikhs reading up about their history regarding shaheeds in battles and those who gave their life for the panth? Why are they disregarded and pushed to the side? Whereas Sikhs don't show emotion towards their own kurbanis?

The reason for this topic is because a friend of mine who has recently expressed his sadness over the Jordan pilot burnt alive...I put the question to him "what about our own history of Singh's being beheaded and killed for even having long hair"(as written in rattan Singh's granth - jatts with long hair even being killed even if they were not khalsa).

    Please do discuss.

My post was meant to mean, when our Singh's and shaheeds got killed. It was sehjdharisbwho kept our physical numbers up. The khalsakhalsa army could not survive without sehjdharis replenishing the stock of man.

When the panth had big losses in battles and when we were huntedhunted down, sehjdharis kept our numbers up.

The other day I went to the guru ghar to do some seva. I was cutting up veg(as chefs do) and this freshie joined me. We got talking while doing langhar seva and he said tera caste ki. Quite frankly I was shocked, never have I been asked in the guru ghar what caste I belong to. I assumed he was a jatt, turns out I was right.

It got me thinking though are our people that fixTed on caste? Why does it matter so much to some people?

I am sure there is an episode on Sri gur panth parkash -Rattan Singh Bhangoo, about a group of singhnis who have been capturedcaptured, one went for the sulas sword cut him down, another grapled and killedkilled, the rest took weapons and cut many sulleh, also then I think they were all shot. Been a while since I have read that episode.

That's why we have to train in yudh, knife, gun, grappling etc. Without thr knoweldge if weilding weapons/defending yourself snd ones dharam we cannot call ourselves khalsa.
I guess in the west we are scared of consequences ie the law, losing job for fighting or perhaps being seen at a hardcore khalistani protest wearing a provoactive T-shirt(babbar khalsa etc).

The english translation I read was guruji was with singhs when they looted certain villages who were against them on their way to the deccan, talks about them all being armed with five weapons.

Whom is this nidar? I have observed many topics being opened on this issue over the past few months... Either someone has an agenda against this man (due to the different IDs posting the same rubbish) or clearly the poster has mental health issues due to the number of repetitive and lame posts. One suspects its both. Go and get yourself checked out if you are bipolar or what I suspect schizophrenia buddy.

An example of the above I will give you is brickies or freshie builders. A lot take feem before they start work and they just chakkkkk it one time. The amount of energy and speed it gives you. However like I've said many many many times. Using drugs isn't the problem. The problem is when you increase your doseage because the dose you take doesn't do anything..thats when the drug takes over & destroys the person

There is nothing wrong with being a murderer. Some situations call for it. When its either your blood or next man's blood on the floor then come back and say murder is wrong.

What about the khalsa of old? They stole robbed looted and killed for provisions according to rattan Singh bhangu.was their choice wrong? No...situations dictate your response/your move.

The problem is when these nihangs are just by name. They claim to be Sikhs , people of the truth yet they are nothing more than drug addicts or cowards...most cases it's both.

While paapi and SK go at each others necks as usual we have more important issues at hand. Beadbi of guru granth sahib ji, Singh's being shot, sangat getting latthi charge. Haven't seen any topic regarding it nor any of the pictures/videos. Such a shame. Feels like people rather talk dribble than address our panths true issues. Lack of leaders who don't do anything for the panth. Let's get rid of these puppets.badal out, sgpc out.

Real talk jaikaara. I know plently of high castes so called jatts and tharkhans who find it funny to make fun of chooreh chumar. However they happily talk and eat with khans and other sulleh but with a choora no way would they sit and eat with them.
Jatts and tharkhans arent even high cazte...they are the same level.
