Descendants of Gangu Shah (who was blessed by Third Master). The fifth group, not to be associated with.
Who do you thought was the fifth group?

Or maybe it was a desperate attempt to revive the tradition by the Minas. The Pothi does refer to Prithi Chand as "Guru Sahib" and states that Minas possessed the word (Gurbani), while Sikhs were worldly.

According to katha by Gyani Inderjeet Singh jee Raqbewale, this Harjas Pothi was written in competition with Gurbani.

Has anyone read this Pothi? It was written by Darbari Das (disciple of Abhay Ram). Abhay Ram was the grandson of Kaul Sodhi, who was further grandson of Prithia.
    Is is available online?

    @samurai
There are two sakhis in this context.
One is when Dharamraj jee tests Yudhister jee. He takes the form of a butcher and runs after a cow (which has earlier been seen by Yudhister jee). He then asks him if he has seen the cow. Yudhister jee is caught in a dilemma. If he says the truth, the innocent cow (who is like a mother) is killed, but he cannot lie too, as he is a Satvadi Purash. So he replies by saying that Eyes can see, but cannot speak. The tongue can speak, but cannot see.
Another sakhi is when a Sadhu is asked by a real butcher about a cow (which was earlier seen by the Sadhu). The Sadhu does not say anything, but points in the direction, where the cow went. The butcher is able to catch the cow and kill it. In his next life, the Sadhu receives the punishment of an amputation (of hand), as his information was responsible for the death of the cow. (This sakhi shows that even stating the Truth can cause Lekha)
Which sakhi are you guys referring to? Can you please share it?
    Thanks

Bro, Baba jee did not steal the horses. It was the Mughals who stole the horses (Dilbagh and Gulbagh) from a Sikh. Baba jee brought the stolen horses back to the rightful owner (Sri Satguru jee).

IMHO, Baba Suthre Shah jee, through the above sakhi, was exposing the selfish nature of a human.
There are other sakhis too, where he exposes the hypocrisies of the human mind. He used his hilarious methods to put impostors to shame.
He was a Brahamgyani and well above most human instincts/weaknesses. He used practical means to teach Gurmat to the sangat.

Bro, Baba Suthre Shah jee did not lie. Baba jee said that he has brought "gifts" for Sri Satguru jee. Gifts could mean anything. Baba jee used a tact to get pass the guards. It was Sri Satguru jee who mentioned about sweets and money.
Also, Baba jee was a Brahamgyani. He could have converted those broken pots and sand into money, by doing Ardas, in case the guards had decided to check his bags.

The thief lied, but was still saved by the bachan he heard from the sangat. Not to forget that he was a very fortunate man as he had darshan of Sri Satguru jee.
The bawd was unlucky though. She was right, but was hanged.

@akalpurkh - Pm me (if you want) and answer the following question.
Do you believe in all Gurbani (Sri Aad Guru Granth Sahib jee Maharaaj, Sri Dasam Granth Sahib jee and Sri Sarabloh Granth Sahib jee and other Gurbanis)?
If not, Daas is not interested in having any veechar with you.

Sri Satguru jee does not need to engage in any sexual activity, in order to create children. They were the incarnation of the Almighty Waheguru, not mere humans like me. They can create and destroy in an instant.

Who said that Satguru jee made a mistake?
IMHO, Baba jee was never against Raag Kirtan, as he was a Gurmukh Brahamgyani. He was the Sikh of Maharaaj. If he preferred non-raag style, it is his wish, He had the freedom to do so.
In the end - Love and devotion will matter, not which style of Kirtan, a person used to sing.

Bro, there is plenty of reference to Saints in Gurbani. You cannot run away from the facts.
One can connect with the Almighty Waheguru directly too through Gurbani, but it is very very very tough to do so.
Easy method - Saadh Sangat - Sangat of Saints/Gurmukhs/Sadhus.

paapiman got a reaction from Kaur1510 in Jesus Christ jee and an Adulterous woman
    Quote
At dawn he appeared again in the temple courts, where all the people gathered around him, and he sat down to teach them. The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group and said to Jesus, "Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?" They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him. But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger. When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, "Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her." Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground. At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there. Jesus straightened up and asked her, "Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?" "No one, sir," she said. "Then neither do I condemn you,"Jesus declared. "Go now and leave your life of sin."
