    Fair is fair, for me its just hard to accept one part of the Gurbani such as,Chaupai and then refuse the part in front as not, to myself it's like pick and choose what suits me, and editing everything to my own thinking.

    But that was the dress of those times the Turban came about with Guru Hargobind Sahib. If you look into bani you will see the real picture of Guru Nanak Dev ji

    One Sakhi I heard was that Baba Ji was driving a car and the Singhs we're with him,and he asked them have you got faith in god. And they said "yes" So he closed his eyes and continued to drive for a while the "singhs" thought they we're going to crash, he opened his eyes and said I thought you had faith in god?

    GO FOR IT, someone said this once, you can go to school,college etc sit the exams etc but if your not registered teachers can't mark your work, because they won't know who the student is in the same way, life is short SIKHI is about LOVE not just fake rituals of this/that etc everyone has differents rehits etc, its the battle of the mind. You'll be fine
