Why would these so called samprada consider women lower than men and give them less rights in Sikhi? Especially when Gurbani says nothing about limiting women. The so called puratan rehetnamas all put women down basically telling them to shut up, consider husbands as God and do what their told. Also they are told they can't do most seva, are seen as dirty because of periods. Our Gurus taught none of that so if these groups were started BY our Guru why would they deviate so much from Guru teachings and treat women as so low? This I am against. And this makes me realize they could not be started from our Guru.

When I say "your Brahmgyanis/mahapurakhs" I mean your Sampardas. By "rest of the Panth" I'm referring to AKJ, Singh Sabha, etc.
"Those people" didn't do anything of that sort. Their interpretation  makes more sense than Sampardas, their vein of reasoning is more consistent and logical.
Tuhadeya da Ki? Eik Tukk Nu chakk Ke Das Das Arth Kadd Dinne aa, Jithe Bishram te Bhaavic Arth aam takhsheelta  anusar penda hee nahi, outhe tokk Dinne aa.
if you believe in Taksal and Sampardaic intpertretation of Gurbani, good, but don't walk around with a sense of superiority.
Te Raagmale Di Gal Tu Naa hee karre, Bhala va.
I believe Gyani Gurbachan Singh Ji was a great Gurmukh too, But his belief in Raagmala indicates to me he didn't reach "the highest level".
Bhai Vir Singh isn't Taksali, by the way. He just Believed in Raagmala.

I do occasionally listen to their Katha and read parts of their teekas, but I also appreciate Singh Sabha works. Professor Sahib Singh for example is an amazing scholar in my opinion

Chatanga Ji I do t know why you keep bringing up marriage LOL I already answered. It's reproduction and species preservation which drives attraction. That has nothing to do with Amrit or the soul.
Yes women can administer Amrit. I already have you example of masands prior to 1699. Masands had full authority to administer Amrit by charan pahul. We know there were women masands. It makes no sense to all of a sudden bar women from something which they had Guru given authority prior.
Also as I said since becoming Khalsa is spiritual and puts everyone on same level as equals it makes no sense to treat some as lesser by limiting what they can do in spiritual sense.
You may say and want Panj Pyaras always be males but there have been females. If you want to take Amrit from all males the go to taksal. But taksal maryada should not be imposed on rest of the panth because it goes against gurmat principles as laid out in Gurbani. There is nothing in Gurbani saying women have some lower position to men. Also you seem to be trying very hard to tip toe around the fact that male and female both can be living image of the Guru and since Panj Pyaras is essentially representing Guru Ji both genders can do this. It's the jot not the genetalia which matters. Your thinking is typical male mysoginistic thinking. You can't give any good reason except saying women and men are different? Ok physically yes we are but Amrit is not about the physical. It's a spiritual act. If women take same Amrit as men and give their heads symbolically same as men then they can also do seva as Panj Pyaras.   Otherwise give women a separate sanchar which is also considered lower. You can't initiate someone and then tell them they will never really be 'fully' Khalsa. Akal Takht agrees on this. What individual Sikhs do is their own issue. Singhs who are keeping Kaurs in a lower position in Sikhi will be held accountable eventually by higher authority.
I don't care if mysoginistic Sighs want to go to males for Amrit. But don't stop Kaurs from being able to take Amrit from other Kaurs. I don't care if taksalis stay to themselves and keep their maryada for them only. Even Jarnail singh ji was quoted saying taksal maryada is only for taksalis. But don't force it on rest of panth. Women can choose that way, to avoid associating with taksalis if they feel oppressed.
Here is a photo In India. Five females doing seva as Panj Pyaras. And yes it was for sanchar. And no they are not AKJ. So no, hate to bust your bubble but it won't always be (and hasn't always been) only males. Also remember the written history we have usually only deals with notable Amrit sanchars where prominent person took Amrit and were comparably few when thinking of how many sanchars took place. So just because the few writing we have doesn't illustrate any women doing this doesn't mean in the thousands and thousands of other sanchars taking place that were not written about there were likely women, especially in cases where males were scarce because they were away possibly fighting etc. Just because they were not written about doesn't mean it didn't happen. And it's also well known that males tend to leave forgotten female stories out of history anyway. (Just look how many stories about male sants and so few stories written about female sants. It's not because they don't exist. It's because males generally step in limelight all the time to detriment of females.).
It's time we stopped treating fellow equal souls as lesser than us because of what body they are in. In reality they are the same light. And please don't bring up marriage again as if you are too stupid to understand the mechanics of procreation and why males and females have to marry, then I can't explain it to you.

Basically charity starts at home. There are people who do lots of public service for kudos but if they are ignoring their own loved ones (leaving their parents without care) who brought them up and cared for them, then what's the use? It's all for show only?
The above shabad makes sense. Everyone should care for their own families. The message is for everyone not just an oldest son. The message is that no parents should be left without care. If parents have only daughters they too should also receive care because the shabad makes it apparent that caring of parents is so important (the message would not be that only parents who have a son deserve this service). Ignore the he in language because Gurbani is directed at all and he is often used to direct he and she in same way as man is used for mankind. The message above is not emphasizing the he but the service to parents. If service of parents is of such importance above all other seva then parents who have no son would not be any less deserving. Or else Gurbani is perpetuating son preference over daughter and is a direct cause of female fetus abortions etc in relentless pursuing for sons over daughters which we know the Gurus were vehemently against.

How are we to decide who was more competent for Jathedari back then?

The so-called Panthic Maryada only needed approval from available evidence, reality, and research. Not a Sampardaic figure.

The above you referenced is not literal. Most every religion speaks of creation of the Universe being initiated by a word. This is true, base of creation is vibration. Sound is only one part of the spectrum of vibration as is heat, radiation, electromagnetic, light, microwave, and... at the far end from sound, thought. Even matter is just energy at a slow rate of vibration so it manifests into something tangible. Where the metaphor comes is, nothing including your own body are real. Scientists say that it's a miracle that every solid thing in existence is 99.9999% empty space so why don't we fall through a chair? The reference to Vishnu etc are not speaking of literal material entities but they represent various aspects of creation.
Also remember time is part of the creation and there only exists now. Past and future are illusions. Try to define now. You can't pinpoint an exact 'now' because if you try, you automatically give it a start and finish, but now is not a set point in time. Rather its just the wave front moving through something else. Like a video game saved on a hard drive. You might say the illusion of time is the game start to finish but looking at the hard drive you see it's just a hard drive with everything the entire game sitting there all at once. It's only your perspective of playing it when you live the illusion of time. The 'now' would basically be where the hard drive heads are reading and they are constantly moving so you can't say now is this point to this point. There is no 'now' in reality. There is just 'all'.
So evolution is really not the evolution of matter as from Waheguru perspective everything exists all at once. Where evolution comes in is the experience of jumping into the game. The experience of unfolding consciousness and awakening to self. The game itself is becoming self aware. That's why life becomes more complex. As mineral and plant there is a dreamlike state. As animal only instincticual awareness but more aware of surroundings. As human Creator can finally ask the important question of who am I.
We are just the costumes. But the awareness behind us all is God. When a human awakens to reality is not a human waking up, it's God waking up in human form.
The 'word' is conscious thought, or intent. The evolution is the awakening to self awareness.

Neither does Taksal or Nanaksar, and they still don't admit that.
A claim of an unbroken, unadulterated, and fallacy devoid lineage with a claim of a 3 century long game of telephone isn't really reliable. Singh Sabha is older than DamDami Taksal.

That's exactly what you are doing.
Here you are just restating the story and ideas you have read or heard without paying any attention to what they mean. That's not knowledge. Even a parrot can repeat what it heard. Knowledge is making the right connections between different things, not parroting the things you have heard or read.

    Let's start over.

    The basic story is -
Hiranyaksh took earth into primordial waters. Vishnu ji pulled it out of primordial waters.

Let's consider the word "primordial waters" - What do you think this means?

I don't like signing up places usually because putting your email address opens it to spam. Even on forums where admins swear they don't share but bots can get this info and all of a sudden you start to receive spam from all these places and once it starts even unsubscribing from the places doesn't stop the spams! So I had to create a whole new email address just to sign up here. Forums have been hacked and personal info leaked like email addresses even Sikh sangat it has happened recently. That's why I didn't want to sign up before but it's ok I created a whole new email address for the sign up so my personal email won't be affected.

Turban is also mentioned in Gurbani, and indirectly kangha and wearing modest clothing which can be suggestion for kachhas. Nothing is really directly mentioned in Guru Granth Sahib as it's not a do this do that rule book. It contains deep Metaphysical content to help us realize god but nothing is step by step instructions. There are spiritual reasons for hair. I remember reading an article about North American natives and why they kept theirs so it also seems to be that this knowledge is found in other cultures history as well. Besides it's supposed to be there. If you cut it, it grows back. Follow natural way the body is supposed to be. That's enough proof right there.

how will u do rom rom jap if u have no hair? Anyway hair has many spiritual benefits as well. God does everything 4 a purpose so hair must have purpose too, right? All the first 10 sikh gurus had kes, there must b a reason behind it.
