    I have no enmity whatsoever with Baba Vadhbhag Singh . He might have done a lot of kamai . If you want to follow him , i have no problem with that becus everyone has his own freeedom to choose his religion .

    But the one thing i want to make clear is that SIKHS are forbidden to go to such deras ( Vadbhag singh , nirankari , radhasoami , sarsa ) its against gurmat . period

    I don't think this is true . Because a year ago when i took amrit from nanaksar jagraon (main centre) panj pyare including everybody was wearing kirpans.

    I will tell you my experience .
    The maryada told by the panj pyare to keep rehat was same like told by damdami taksal . They also gave pressure on not removing any of the panj kakkars , if by mistake it happens do 2 sukhmani sahib paths and ask for bhul chuk and do ardas.

    it is compulsory to wear kirpan .

    I do not know why some of the behangams do not wear them . I do not know about that .

    I think that even Baba Nand Singh Ji didn't wear any kirpan .
    He remained as God told him to .

    When he used to do bhakti he used to wear a very big kachera of 2 gaj and a kara . Then one day GOD ordered him to wear a white chola and a white dastar . From their started the maryada of wearing white choles and dastars in Nanaksar .

    Actually we cannot say anything about the maryadas started by brahmgyanis . we r moorakh kalyugi jeev and we cannot say anything about them .
    Its better if we just follow wt thwy say instead of arguing with them .

    For your kind information , how do you know that it is mool mantar ? how do you know that its not a manglacharan ?
    actually it is a manglacharan .

    In Guru Granth Sahib Ji , the mool mantar upto hosi bhi sach comes only once and that too in the beginning . MOOL menas ROOT . As various branches spread from a single trunk of tree similarly mool mantar is the root of all mantars . no mantar is powerful than mool mantar .


    The manglacharan written by the Guru ji above comes 33 times .
    Ik onkar satgur prasad comes about 500 times . so the more counting doesn't make it mool mantar .( our thinking has been affected by voting in elections).

    Mool mantar is only upto hosi bhi sach .





    Sants , mahapurash , samardas who believe mool mantar is upto bhi sach are the following :

    1) Bhai Gurdas ji mentions that in his 39 vaar
    2) Udasi samparda from son of guru nanak dev ji , baba sri chand still recite mool mantar upto hosi bhi sach .
    3) family lineage from 2nd son of guru ji , sri lakhmidas ji , still recite mool mantar upto hosi nhi sach .
    4) sevapnthi samparda from srted from bhai ghaniya ji
    5) family lineage from baba budha ji
    6) damdami taksal
    7) rara sahib
    8) nanaksar

    baba ishar singh ji ( both kaleran and rare sahib wale )
    sant attar singh ji ( reru , atle , mastuane sahib wale )
    baba mahaharnam singhji bhucho kalan wale

    baba harnam singh ji

    and who r the ones against it ?
    those who know only to talk not to work , those who didn't get the ras of naam

    It was in the early morning hours of the thirteenth of Katak month in the year Samat 1927 at about 0313 AM (November 1872 AD) that Divine light in its purest glory dawned on this earth in a small village Sherpura, Tehsil Jagroan, District Ludhiana, Punjab.

    There was an unusual glow, a unique lustre on the face of the new born child and the flash of this unusual glow had lit up the Comparatively dark room. Two attendant ladies were wonderstruck with this unique phenomenon and were the first chosen ones to be blessed with the darshans of the divine manifestation. They warmly Congratulated the highly pious and blessed parents of the child and told them about the rare Divine-Light they had witnessed. The name of the blessed father was Sardar Jai Singh and that of the proud mother Bibi Sada Kaur.

    Light Supernal had gloriously flashed to welcome the most auspicious birth of this holy child. Little did anyone realise at that time that blessed was the day in the annals of human and spiritual history and unique was the house, the village and the land where this unknown Divinity had set his sacred feet. The universe was blessed with the very source of blessedness in a human form.

    It was on this auspicious day that a king amongst sages and the Supreme Messenger of Sri Guru Nanak Sahib and Sri Guru Granth Sahib descended on the face of this earth. Whichever place he visited, he flooded it with a tidal wave of divinity, a tidal wave of the divine fragrance of Sri Guru Granth Sahib.     i have also heard about Bachans of Various Brahmgyanis as well but they never mentioned any date

    Baba Mahaharnam Singh Ji Bhucho Kalan : 5 Brahmgyanis will come and try to establish order when kalyug will be at its worst


    Baba Nand Singh ji : 13 di ginti hovegi, counting of 13s will prevail (not sure what he meant by that), Gurmukhi will be the main language, Guru Nanak Da jhanda jhoolega

    Baba Ishar Singh ji also said he will also come back and fight along with Singhs.

    Sant Gurbachan Singh Ji also talked about Shaheed Singhs coming back and maintaining order.

    But none of them mentioned any dates, they just gave an indication that such phase will come.

    I guess we should just follow the path showed by our Gurus and try to make our Human Birth successful

    I read in Anand Chamatkar , that desi ghee jot is lit to welcome Guru Maharaj , to represent happiness and prosperity . It adds to the purity or pavitarta of the room in which the akhand path sahib is being conducted .

    I have also heard from some nanaksar pathis that it is also used for " pehra " or "rakhi " ( protection or guarding ) or " shaheedi pehra "( done by shaheed singhs ) .

    whenever an akhand path sahib with true maryada is done , shaheed singhs reside there .

    however in this age of kalyug , its impossible to conduct an akhand path sahib with full maryada except under very rare conditions when its done under the supervision of Mahapurakhs like Baba Nand Singh Ji .

    two pathans came to kill guru ji . one of them stabbed guru ji . guru ji took out his sri saahib abd cut the head of one pathan at once . the other pathan was also injured but fled . then time went on . the wound ws bandaged .
    one day some singhs were trying to tie the string over the bow . but the bow ws very hard inflexible . they were having tough time tying i t. guru ji were watching all this . guru ji came and tied the string very easily on the bow . when he stretched the string of the bow back upto his ears , His wound which ws n't healed properly got damaged again . and He started bleeding profusely . then guru ji said its time to go now .
    then guru ji ordered singhs to make a " angeetha " ( fire) and a " tamboo " all around it . guru ji went inside and disappered along with his horse .

    Guru ji DID NOT DIE , he just disappered along with his body . on the same day he also gave darshan to one singh .

    ALL THE TEN GURUS NEVER DIED . THEY JUST DISAPPEAR ALONG WITH THIER BODIES . FROM THE EYES OF COMMON PEOPLE . THEY GO NO WHERE . THEY R WITH US . ( Saskaar of no Guru Ji was done )

    for example :
    Guru Nanak Dev Ji took chadar and disappered

    Guru Angad Dev Ji disappeared . Sangat started crying and bcame confused that where did guru ji go . then some chardikala sikhs prayed. guru ji again came back . then they asked guru ji from thhis world like normal people do . then angeetha was prepared . and again by putting maya in the eyes of people they disappeared again . People thought they wr doing saskaar of the dead body but there ws nothing there . it ws all maya .

    Guru Arjan Dev ji disappeared too in the raavi river too .

    Guru Gobind Singh ji disappeared too .

    Similarly all other gurus Guru Amardas Ji , Guru Ramdaas ji , Guru Hargobind Sahib ji , Guru Harrai ji , Guru Harkrishan Ji , all disappered .

    Guru Ji don't die .

    However i think in case of Guru Teg Bahadur ji , things wr little different .
    Jallad was not able to cut guru ji's head . Even before jallads sword could touch guru ji's neck , His head flew off and went into the hands of Bhai Jaito ji and his body ws picked up by Bhai Lakhi shah vanjara amidst a great storm .

    It is said that whoever are the abhyaasis of Naam and Gurbani, their faces will glow and radiate...It was very difficult to look into the eyes of some mahapurakhs... I dont know what is it tht stops people from looking directly into mahapurashs...they say its like trying to look at sun but u cant...Basically they have a strong influence/presence and power in their look.

    Not only sukhmani sahib but the whole gurbani will have the same effect...

    now tht i reflect back on this topic some of the points may sound like compulsion.

    bottom line i think is just read gurbani with prem and jap naam with pyar

    We can say crores of words in praising the ' dhur ki bani ' or 'gurbani' but still those words would be nothing taking in consideration of the great and infinite importance of 'Gurbani'


    Here i will try to mention some of the benefits of doing paath of Sukhmani Sahib :-
    1) Sukhmani is ' sukhaan di mani ' maening all the happiness . so its obvious that if you do paath of sukhmani sahib you will remain happy forever .

    2) when you do sukhmani sahib your physical and inner sins are cleared meaning ' tan ate man di shudhi ' or 'tan te man de rog door ho jane

    3)Doing 1 path daily makes all your breaths taken in 24 hrs successful.
    A human takes about 22000 - 24000 breaths (taking in and out of air) in a day . and sukhmani sahib also has 24000 words of holy divine naam or gurbani .

    4)if u do this paath regularly , u r protected by shaheed singhs so there fore no bad or evil things can affect u in any way .

    5)if u continue to do it , the automatic naam simran of waheguru will start in ur body . because waheguru shabad abd gurbani r the same thing

    6) it can fufill all ur spiritual as well as materialistic wishes .

    7) every body like hindus , muslims , etc. can do its paath and benefit from it .there r no restrictions .

    But this produces a furna in my mind :

    Then why did Guru Gobind Singh ji said " Maain na ganesah pritham manayoon kisan bisan kabhoon na dhyayo kaan sune pehchan na tin so liv laagi mori pag inso " (chopai sahib)

    "akal purakh ki deh meh kotan bisan mahesh"

    "tumhe shaad koi avar na dhyayoon jo bar chaho so tume te paayoon"

    "kaal paaye brahma avtara kaal paaye sivju avtara kaal paaye kar bisan prakasa sakal kaal ka kiya tamsa "

    all this clearly states that krishan , shivji etc . avtars are not themselves AKAl Purakh .

    i think there is a different story with Guru Arjan Dev ji's shabad . which i dunno know .

    don't think i m a hater of any god . they all are respectable . and we should respect every faith whether we agree or disagree

    I believe that all the true sants that come on earth know each other well even though they don't meet each other physically. Since they are all connected with God they can connect with each other too.

    One thing that I noticed from reading biographies of some sants is that they greatly respect each other. The prem, humility and love they show for each other is immense and immeasurable. Whenever a some sant used to come Baba Nand Singh ji himslef would get up and get the asan ready for the guest.

    I know that Baba Nand Singh ji had once visited Sant Ishar Singh Ji rare sahib wale and they did many bachans with each other. Sant Ishar Singh ji and Baba Ishar Singh ji kaleran wale can be seen sitting together with each other in photographs.

    Baba Ishar Singh ji kaleran wale were the sewak of Baba Nand Singh ji. He did sewa for 24/7 without breaks and rest for like 13 years continuosly. And when Baba Nand Singh ji left their body, it is said that Baba Ishar Singh Ji did gupt naam abhyaas/tapasya for 7 years . Then he came back and took charge of Nanaksar Thaath at Jagraon.

    Sant Maha Harnam Singh ji were the Murshid of Baba Nand Singh Ji. One bachan that Sant Attar singh ji mastuane wale used to do was that there is a sant who is " rab da noor" himself in a certain village (referring to Sant Maha Harnam Singh ji)

    Maryada of Sant Maha Harnam singh ji was very weird and it was for a purpose to scare away the kache manmukh people. For eg. Baba ji always used to cover his face and his eyes. Once some naughty youth removed the cloth on his face, as a result the pile of hay that was lying around got burnt, the whole village was about to get burnt and the village people came and ask for forgiveness.

    There was no prakash of Guru Granth Sahib ji in his dera. He used to say a mahan rishi will come (referring to Baba Nand Singh ji) and teach the maryada of doing the sewa of Guru Granth Sahib ji.

    Once a group of thieves came to Baba ji , baba ji got impressed with their truth and blessed them with a rule of some kingdom.

    sometimes in his mauj , he would wear kingly clothes.

    he would cover himself in blanket even during the summer and people would think this baba is weird.

    People in the village would often call him " sher wala baba", because in his mauj sant ji would sometime take the form of Narsingh Avtar who saved prahlad and roar louldy.

    there was no fire used in his langar, they would mix the raw ingredients and it would cook by itself, and no salt mirch was supposed to be added in the langar.

    he used to have a "khazana", a room which always remained full of wealth, he would keep the devotees with him , teach them to do sewa and jap naam, and if they were gristhi he would pay them for the equivalent of 40 days work.

    whenever a new devotee would He would ask them to write their ancestors name, often people didn't know the names more than their great-grandparents, rest of the ancestors names Baba ji would get written with his anubhav, those registers are still kept at bhucho kalan. Baba ji used to say a day will come when these will be required.

    Baba MahaHarnam Singh jis khedan, and maryadas were different such as normal people wouldn't recognize Him. just imagine how great that Sant would be who is the murshid of the greatest of all Baba Nand Singh Ji maharaj.

    108 mala will take (108*7)/60 = 12.6 hours for me to finish not 40 minutes .

    1 mala = saying 108 times



    all right here is the mathematics :
    1)for me it takes 7 minutes to say mool mantar 108 times . i.e to do one mala
    2) therefore , to do 30 malas , it takes 210 minutes , i.e. 3.5 hrs

    we have to do 125000 jaap . to do it in 40 days divide it by 40 , so we need to say mool mantar 3125 times everyday for upto 40 days .
    (3125/108) = 28.9 malas for everyday i.e. aprox. 30 malas

    this is how my system works , other people may have different speeds .
    the max . i could ever get was 10 malas of 108 beads in one hour.

    a very good question . All the gurbani is same and has no difference. but still u know there are different banis for different occasions and each bani has its own effect ,

    for eg
    if u r a regular nitnemi of lots of japji sahib paths , it helps in getting brahmgyan .

    if u do a lot of paths of anand sahib it helps in getting u anand .

    if u do chopai sahib it helps in getting u beer ras .

    if u do a lot of jap sahib , it helps in increasing ur personalty and ur tej or prakash.

    if u do sukhmani , it helps in getting u all the sukkhs , protecting u , meeting u with the sants and then uniting with GOD .
    as compared to other banis it is much easier to understand for moorakh bande like us .

    and if u do 1 sukhmani sahib da path in whole day , all the 24000 breaths u took during the day will become safal or successfull.

    literal meaning of celibate is to control your desires and don't have physical relationship .

    A married couple can be a celibate as well , while having physical relationship . ( and obviously they have to follow rehit maryada )

    Once a gursikh asked Baba Nand Singh Ji , how can he becoma a celibate while being married ?

    He answered :
    for a grahsti 2 children are enough .

    have relationship only once in a whole year .

    Talk to any mahapurash , chardeekala sant , or chardeekala damdami sikh , and ask them about Guru ji's , u will get the same answer that they were nirlep from this maya . They didn't go through the process that we go through to produce kids .

    And some things don't need to be explained in Gurbani . They are known by only brahmgyanis .

    For eg :
    Bhagt Dhanna ji had the kamai of his previous 1100 janams . That 's y he could have darshan of God from a pathar .

    Now tell me where in gurbani its written , that He had kamai of 1100 janams . this was told by Brahmgyami Sant Gurbachan Singh Ji Khalsa .


    Similarly , some facts don't have to be based on Gurbani .
    Bachans of Brahmgyanis are enough .

    "Kaam Krodh Sareer Ko Gaale"

    Even though its sex with your partner , its still Kaam . Kaam is bad for your health .

    That's why married gursikhs ( true gursikhs ) keep it very moderate .

    That's y people these days don't have long ages . due to Kaam ( some exceptions exist )

    Once Baba Nand Singh Ji told this saakhi to a sikh :

    After Guru Nanak Dev Ji got married , he remained busy in preaching NAAM . A long time passed . Once Bebe Naanki Ji ( Guru Nanak Dev Ji's Sister ) prayed to Guru Ji that she wants to play with his nephews or nieces meaning that he should have some children now . Guru Ji gave two cloves to Bebe Naanki Ji as a prashad and asked her to give it to Mata Sulakhni Ji ( Guru ji's wife ) . Then Mata ji gave birth to 2 sons .

    I mean to say that our Guru jis didn't have to do the process that we do for giving birth to children . Gurus and brahmgyanis are nirlep from this maya . They can do anything with their POWER .

    literal meaning of celibate is to control your desires and don't have physical relationship .

    A married couple can be a celibate as well , while having physical relationship . ( and obviously they have to follow rehit maryada )

    Once a gursikh asked Baba Nand Singh Ji , how can he becoma a celibate while being married ?

    The reason i said 'sitting 3 hrs continuously' was because I read somewhere that if you are able to sit 3 hrs continuously then you get 'asan siddhi' (anyone can elaborate on that please?) Speaking from the viewpoint of some yogic practitioners , it is believed that in order to keep the mind still keeping your body still is very important in the initial stage and if you are able to attain 'asan sidhi' then you can stay still for as long as you want without any distraction in your practice.

    and yup I agree with antinang that bhagats of Rab are not bound by any asanas or restrictions.

    But filthy human beings like me who have reached nowhere do need to discipline their bodies.

    LUST or Kam is one of the 5 vikars .( kam,krodh,lobh,moh,hankar)

    This whole topic applies to you only if you want to become a true sikh , if not ,ts ok do whatever you want . this is the reality . now read this :

    Definition:-Lust is a feeling that is promoted by your mind to taste the bodily pleasures through your eyes, etc and your 10 "indrias". indrias means organs .
    which are:
    5 sense organs -
    eyes,
    ears,
    nose,
    tongue,
    skin ,

    5 working organs or "karm" indre
    tongue
    hands
    feet
    penis
    anus

    note:i m gonna be explicit , pardon me if some one is offended. this is a very sophisticated topic that is often neglected .

    now when you have lust all of these your organs are involved .
    your eyes see the bad things , then ur whole organs respond according to that and you know how they respond .

    so in simple words lust means looking at girls or boys with bad feelings in ur mind and then physical touching and relationship to satisfy you r hunger .

    In sikhism , Lust is strictly forbidden , .

    love
    about love i do not know that much . love is just showing how much you appreciate otyhre people and how u long to meet them or talk to them or live with them .
    now love i think is a pure feeling . because you love ur mother,father,brother,sister,cousins,uncles,aunts,pets and GURU ji .
    so love is not bad .
    but if u say that i love a girl and if u do not think of that girl as ur sister then that is not love because then that becomes ur lust.

    Guru Gobind Singh Ji says
    " rehni rahe soi sikh mera oh sahib main uska chera
    rehit bina neh sikh kahave rehit bina dar chota khave "

    meaning :the person who follows my rehit or maryada is my sikh and who does not he has no right to call him a sikh

    "rehit pyari mujko sikh pyara nahe"
    meaning: guru ji loves sikh's rehat more that the sikh himself

    Guru Arjan Den Ji says:
    " par triya roop na dekhe netra "
    meaning : your eyes should not see the lady who is not your wife "


    " eka nari jati hoye par nari dhee bhain vakhane "

    "dekh praayiaan changiaan maavaan dheaan bhaina jaane "
    meaning: if u see beauti ful faces , those who r of ur age consider them as ur sisters , those who are elder that u consider themas ur mothers and those r very younger than u cosider them as ur daughters .

    there r a thousands other tuks from gurbani condemning lust .

    so there is no chance u can love a girl before marriage .

    And it does not mean that once u r married u can have sex with ur wife 24 hrs . there also u have to control yourself . you have to be jati in your marriage . that's what is called nirlepta in maya .

    because when semen comes out your body it takes out a lot of energy and other things that r necessary for advancing in spiritual stages and bhakti .
    now here is how u can be jati in ur marriage life :
    i would like to give a sakhi from the life of baba nand singh ji .
    once baba ji asked a devotee to be jati in his marriage life and upon asking he asked how? then baba ji told him the method .
    he said that you can have *** once in a year . if u r still not able to control urself then do it every six months . if still not able to control urself do it once in a month only . if still not able to control urself do it only once in a week on every tuesday night from 11 pm - 1 am . and then the next morning do kesi ishnan.
    and if u still not control urself then u r not a sikh and it means u r engrossed in lust . "

    u c this is lust . u eveb have to control it once u become married.
    lust is a very dangerous thing and be careful from it because it can detroy ur years of hardwork and simran in less than a blink of the eye .it takes away everything from you .
    only guru ji can save us from this lust and no on e else can .
