Bhen ji its a very tense situation for everyone epecially as i walked outside to local grocery shops the whole streets were empty and all the shops were shut. Its really sad that the stress of being there killed bhai sahib quicker than the virus itself which is shocking as he went to attend late bhai balbir singh bhog when he likely caught the virus.

Really sad to hear this news today as he was one of the best raagis Padma Shri awardee Bhai Nirmal Singh dies after testing positive for Covid-19 Bhai Nirmal Singh Khalsa, 67, a Padma Shri awardee and a former hazoori ragi (Gurbani exponent) at Golden Temple, passed away after a heart attack at 4.30am on Thursday, a day after he was diagnosed with coronavirus disease (Covid-19). Amritsar civil surgeon Dr Prabhdeep Kaur Johal said he was put on ventilator on Wednesday night after his condition worsened due to his bronchial asthma. With his death, the toll due to Covid-19 in Punjab has risen to six. Bhai Nirmal Singh was referred to Guru Nanak Dev Hospital (GNDH) from the local Shri Guru Ram Das Hospital on March 30 after he complained of breathlessness. “He visited England in November. A health department team visited his house on March 3 after we got the information that two guests – his uncle and aunt – from the US visited him. They were found asymptomatic. When the home quarantine period of the guests was over on March 17, they were found asymptomatic. Bhai Nirmal Singh then went to Chandigarh for a kirtan samagam on March 19 where over 100 people gathered,” Dr Johal said. “He tested positive for coronavirus on Wednesday. He may have caught the infection during his trip to Chandigarh. He died of sudden cardiac arrest on Thursday,” she said.

I watched Rabb Da Radio 2 today with family and it was not as good as i thought it was going to be compared to the first movie which was the best punjabi movie in modern day cinema.

Veer ji that is a very good question because its hard to work out as its not written on anyones face who practises jhatka and doesn't as nobody is a mahapursh with antarjamat. Secondly if they the member does do jathka then he shouldn't being going to places which serve meat sharaab etc. As i have seen 2 people who serve as panj pyare that went to a party with meat sharaab and the gurdwara commitee where all drinking alcohol and eating meat apart from those 2 guys. 3rd guy kept a cat in his house feeding it meat.

Getting darshan of a puran bramgyani is really really difficult as its hard to find in this kalyug with so many artificial sant baba that its hard to even spot a karnai wale sant. But a puran bramgyani do exist but they stay gupt and its hard to find one. 2nd is the sevadars they are like dictators as they only like rich influental people to vist and give them more access to mahapursh compared to normal sangat whom they don't respect at all which can be seen in ithasic historical gurdwara sahibs in india. Also as mentioned its based on ones karams and bhagati levels that ones gets a chance to meet a mahapursh. Another difficult task to get kamai of a mahapurshs bachan as that is not easy. I have heard in katha about how abhyasis who stand in the line when waiting to see a mahapursh. The mahapursh can see the aura of the gurmukh and do call them over from the line whilst waiting. I have met and heard saakhis of how people i know through my parents family have had darshan and bachan with Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji Rara Sahib, Baba Puran Singh Ji Kerchio Wale,Baba Mihan Singh Ji, Sant Harnam Singh Ji Rampur Khera Wale, Baba Isher Singh Ji Nanaksar etc.

Veer ji thats is a long time now since you last read Chandi Chirtar 2 in sehaj paath form. It is easier for you veer ji as you can read it in punjabi script so doing a sehaj paath is really good. 3 weeks is a good time as you did have a connection with the paath as it was a sehaj paath with doing 1,2 angs a day which does help cover all of the banis in the Sri Dasam Granth Sahib Ji. First time i read back in oct 2018 took me 4 days using a 66 mins mp3 as it was really hard getting a good paathi for the bani as i didn't understand nearly any of it in the start.

Thanks veer ji its all Guru Sahib Jis kirpa as i remember i never even could go past the 2nd pauri of Jap Ji Sahib before. You are right veer ji Guru Sahib Ji does work in mysterious ways waheguru dhan sacha patashah.

@Ragmaalaveer ji have you recently done any paath of chandi chirtar 2 ? As its quite a while now since you made this thread

@Ragmaalaveer ji thats really nice to hear i do wish i could do sehaj paath but at the moment i am bit stuck as i can't read or write in Punjabi. All of my banis that i have done so far which i never dreamed of are in english roman text which took me many hours ,months to learn using audio tracks from panj bani nitnem to other recent dasam banis mentioned on here. Its really good and i do wish you chardikala and kirpa for the sehaj paath as its a really good step. I used to use my phone gutka app when i was learning back over 5 years ago then began using samsung tablet which i wish i didn't use now as that wrecked my health due to me developing migraines,eye number sight changing due to it. So i nowdays i have got a magnifer for the banis and a custom made print of the banis in large size fonts english roman print. Veer ji reading your posts have given me a lot of boost and inspiration as its only 2 angs a day but its cos of the punjabi reading issue i can't at the moment but i hope one day i will as i am planning to learn punjabi starting this week.

Its not even that its roman english is not the true form of gurbani to be read due to the mistakes. I have put it off too long as well now so i am hoping to get back to it soon.

Veer ji you are right it is such a long time its amazing how time flies. I thought that i felt like a long time myself as it was just over 18 months that it was the first time that i had read it. Its really good veer ji to do just a page a day as i had spent 9 days with 3 days break so in total it was 12 days then lol. But Guru Sahib Ji will do kirpa as a page compared to a full paath of is way relaxed as it has 17 chapters Sri Akal Ustat. The 2 i found easy was the Deenan Ki Pritpal Kare and Surwag Sudh Smooh as they come panj bani nitnem just the other 15 were hard as it was my first attempt at the time.
