    Veer ji

can you teel me the maryada of akal ustat bani

Waheguru ji ka khalsa waheguru ji ki fathe ji bhen ji.

Dass reads this mahaan bani and there is no fixed marayda like timings,Ishan with Akal Ustat. But with Dasam Chandi Bani's there is marayda to be followed.

So you can read this bani any time and it can be done either one day or a week depending on when you get time.

I need advice as to whether lubricating sarbloh utensils with oil and heating it is hygenic in a sikhism sense.  Do Nihangs in india treat the sarbloh this way.  Need advice shall i bother with the instructions in the picture.  Has anybody done this before, im thinking coconut oil will be the best oil to try?

    Waheguru ji ka khalsa

    Waheguru ji ki Fateh Ji.

Blessed you are veer ji !

I started doing it since 4 months.

I used to do it in  4 sections (4days) and now with Guru Kirpa doing it in 2 days.

Waheguru ji ka khalsa waheguru ji ki fateh veer ji.

Yes its all Waheguru's kirpa with all reading all these paaths. I do try to do paath of Akal Ustat like a few times a month due to its length and difficult vocabulary using audio tracks.

I did hear in katha that it can read in either one day or a week depending on when one is free. There has been days where i have done the paath in one day using the audio tracks.

  4. Dass uses ear buds for whenever I go to gurdwara sahib as the loud speakers have given me migraines and sinus pain in the past. I mean love listening to kirtan but the loudness i have to numb it down using ear plugs otherwise i get problems.

Dass himself has read Akal Ustat in chunks using English Roman texts with Waheguru Guru Sahib Ji's kirpa drishti.

Dass loves reading this mahaan bani with Guru Ji's kirpa.

The first time dass read this bani was 5 years ago and now i am getting at it as you can check my other banis which have been sent to me by Waheguru Guru Sahib Ji's kirpa.

Yesterday I completed the paath in 2 days alongside other banis which you can ask are which if you like.

Have you made a plan for these, how you will do each one?

'Control my diet' is very vague

For me, it will be reducing my screen time outside of work. Anyone got any advice on how they have done that successfully?

You are correct veer ji i do need to make a plan for it as they always say actions speak louder than words lol.

For reducing screen time its best to use a timer with limit minutes or time restrictions

@Soulfinder would you like to discuss things here or do you think inbox would be better?

Here, kind members could also add their advice and we could encourage you together and someone else could benefit too but at the same time it is a public forum. Sometimes other forum users could add negative comments too.

lifestyle management is very important to get the most out of your medication and to help patient’s medical condition. Even though we know most of it but still our brain does not register it and we carry on ignoring all advices as if it is bakwaas.

my very close contact beat depression, anxiety, panic attacks and body dysmorphia. He had break up, felt completely broken and everything started going downhill. He changed his school first, removed known contacts from social media, had counselling but it was doing nothing, had hypnotherapy etc. then he bought a book by Paul McKenna (I think it is the right author) and start reading it, started following all the advice given one by one , literally starting ticking all the boxes for all the given suggestions. I was thinking that this would not work and he is just acting crazy but I was wrong, in fact VERY WRONG. you would not believe the change I have seen in his personality. It was difficult but not impossible. I have witnessed panic attacks in him, I have seen determination to change his life and I have finally seen THE CHANGE HE WISH FOR. Within one year he was a completely different person.

time to go, finish lunch break, would come back to add more.

    bhul chuk maaf for mistakes

Han ji bhen ji it would be better to do a inbox as i have already exposed too much already now. Plus there is also other things that i rather not mention publicly as well.

I agree bhen ji that i need to sort out my lifestyle as what i have noticed is that when i woke up i skipped having a bath shower and the whole day was really horrible as i missed my nitnem banis plus i felt more worse than usual.

The person you have mentioned seems to have achieved a lot especially when people get struck down by this horrific depression and feel like no where to go like i do at the moment. Its not easy i be honest bhen ji but i am hoping to reach the goal one day

    Waheguru Ji

Do you have any more videos like this where you clipped a section of katha to make these short videos.  Maybe, khalsa13projects can upload them to his youtube channel?

    Waheguru ji.

Dass found this video track as it so i just copied and pasted it onto here using a YouTube downloader app. At the moment i don't have any more of these type of short clipped recordings but i will post them if i find any online. As you are right correct its better to publish them this way than a full length katha track.
