  1. According to what I know till now, one cannot raise his consciousness above the mind’s creation by himself. Causal plane is the ultimate level, upto which one can raise his consciousness using mind. To go beyond that is impossible without the pull of Love from the other side. And a Perfect Living Master (PLM) does the same for us. Beyond the Causal Plane we shed all the coverings and experience our true nature, the Soul. So a PLM is essential for self realization. What are your views about this?
  2. I got to know something related to DMT. It is a psychoactive chemical compound found in some plants. Large number of people believe it has divine powers, that’s why it lets people enter other dimensions (I don’t know what dimensions, maybe Astral Plane). I read somewhere that during the actual death experience, DMT is released in the brain too (near penial gland), so they get the similar experiences but don’t gain consciousness of this physical body again, and are dead. There are meditation techniques like the Surat Shabd Yoga, in which we have to put our attention at the centre of our head, where there is penial gland. I was guessing maybe we’re able to trigger the release of DMT by putting our attention there and have spiritual experiences. So is there any connection between DMT and spirituality? Note: I don’t support consumption of any of these psychoactive drugs.
  3. Thanks for replying Sir. I didn’t know that souls merge in Him after dissolution. Does that mean that after the creation comes into existence again, individuality and minds may appear again? What I knew was that, the physical, astral and causal regions were destroyed and created again and the play started all over again. But the souls who attained that bliss state and gained highest level of consciousness, are never coming back here. Am I missing something here? Please correct me. Thank you.
  4. Will there come a time when all the souls trapped in these three worlds will realise the truth, escape the trap and gain the highest level of consciousness? Or this creation and dissolution will go for eternity?
  5. When we meditate below the eye level and try to activate the six chakras or energy centers, it helps us to gain some remarkable experiences. But they don’t help in raising our awareness at all! We gain a lot of energy and benefits by activating chakras, but they are just meant for this world only. We can’t raise our awareness by those means. Then why put our attention below the eyes?
  6. Yes Veer ji, that’s exactly what we’re taught at the Satsang. You’re correct. Naam Daan not related to anything physical. It’s a technique that we’re taught by the Guru Ji to do meditation. Also some 5 holy names are given to recite during meditation. This technique is also called Surat Shabd Yoga. I don’t know how it is performed exactly. So for now, I’m just doing meditation using a simple technique. Thanks for giving this helpful advice paji
  7. Yes Lucky Ji I understood the message at first. Though naam daan is not related to anything physical. The Guru teaches us the right technique to do meditation, along with some 5 holy words that we have to recite in our mind while meditating. It’s called Surat Shabad Yoga. I exactly don’t know how it is performed. So I’m doing meditation with a simple technique at the starting. I use earplugs, and listen to the sound that is coming from the right side of my head. I just do it for half an hour daily. I’ll continue doing meditation in the future. I just needed to clear some doubts. Thanks for guiding me Veeri ji
  8. Thank you sir for giving such an informative explanation. I don’t find any harm doing meditation. I try to meditate daily for about half an hour. And when I’m not meditating, even then I can hear that sound. It helps me to remain calm and focus on my studies. I will continue the practice. Thanks for your advice veer ji
  9. Hello. I’m 18 now. I have been doing meditation for two weeks now, after watching Sandeep Maheshwari’s basic meditation video on YouTube. When I meditate, I listen to the high frequency type sound ringing in my ears, along with another sound that I can’t really describe. To relate to the best, it’s like the sound of rain.

I follow Radha Soami Satsang Beas. Naam Daan is given to sangat older than 25 yrs of age. I was just wondering, should I continue doing meditation without naam daan? I’ve built an interest in spirituality in a short period of time and I’m confused now. Pls guide me.
