  1. Chatanga, you missed out the sugar. You also need a decent Salotar Sanera
  2. When someone says they have the recordings, you state without any proof that they are non-existent. If I put the recordings up here, then would I be a liar?
  3. I have these audios which have been transcripted, they are not made up. So either Matheen has never met these babas or the babas cant be bothered to play politics and rock the boat. These audios which have been made will soon be availiable on the net. By interest Matheen, which of the babas have you met?
  4. It is not about Kul, it is about Kala, the arts. At least give some respect to someone who has put a lifetimes effort into an art propogated by the Gurus, and not wasted his life slandering others on forums.
  5. Any idea if this can be bought in a shop?
  6. Not searchable but better then nothing. http://www.gurdwaramidhudson.org/sggs.pdf http://www.ik13.net/PDFS/Mahan_Kosh.pdf You can get the Patiala University Dictionary in good bookshops.
  7. Dreams are normally the overactive mind spilling over and creating images in our concious during sleep. A person who hits the bed and falls asleep straight away is blessed as his mind is clear and he has no worries. A person who dreams has too many things on his mind and this results in images or thoughts spilling into our dream state. The best sleep is where there is nothingness, a deep sleep without thought or dreaming. That being said, it is possible to manipulate the concious and venture into the things mentioned by Hari, such as lucid dreaming where you know you are dreaming and you can begin to alter and change the dream just by thinking "do this", rather then being a silent observer. The key to being able to manipulate this concious is by letting the body fall asleep but the mind is still awake. Rather then watching the dream, you are directing it. I believe this shows more control over your concious mind however there are stages beyond this which we must go to rather then remain at mundane dreams. I believe that understanding that we can change our dreams or be part of them, just shows how in this "physical" plane which we believe to be real is just the same as a lucid dream, we can change and interact however we wish, but ultimately the world as we see it is merely a dream and one day we will awake to the true reality.
  8. The second book will be in regards to the Maryada of Hazoor Sahib. I dont believe that book will be released as quick as you would like it, the next release is the Sri Harimandir Sahib book alongside the exhibition at the Brunei Gallery next month. For more info visit www.gt1588.com
  9. Cant go wrong when you do your own Jhatka in the garden
  10. Look out for a Ayurvedic herb called Brahmi which can be put into water and drunk as tea, tastes disgusting but its known to help aid in concentration and meditation.
  11. The chapter on Guru Nanank Dev Ji in Panth Parkash also talks about the specific door at the Kabba opening for Maharaj.
  12. The infinite within us is far greater than the infinite outside us.
  13. Gurbani refers to Anhad Shabad, Anhad Bani and Anhad Dhuni, what is the difference between this Anhad Shabad and the Gurmat Anhad Shabad spoken of by Randhir Singh? If you say its the same, then what is the difference between a common persons Anhad Shabad (if that exists) and the Gurmat Anhad Shabad spoken of by Randhir Singh? If the Hari that resides within all is the same, the experience of Hari should also be the same. There is no difference in devotion, and true Bhagats will only witness bairaag, love, prema bhagti and devotion with the same emotion. It is like saying love is a unique emotion depending on the person who experiences it or who they express it to.
  14. ^ So we may as well forget using Vaheguroo Mantar then according to the tuks you have posted.
  15. Meditation goes beyond forms and desires. Learning how to focus the mind can go beyond using Yantars, anything can be used, the key on a keyboard, a candle flame, the tip of a pencil or even a dot on a wall. The practise is only there to make ones mind still and focussed. If your desire is for wealth your real aim is not enlightenment. Once that focus is developed, it should be used to look introspectively into yourself and focus your mind on the Vaheguroo that resides within you. Meditation is the ability to silence the chattering of the mind by focussing on a single thing, when a Mantar such as Vaheguroo is focussed upon the other chatter is silenced but the ability to maintain that focus is what takes regular practise in order to become immersed deeply within Hari himself.
  16. Yantars are visual aids to focus the mind, if you wish to use them then try to focus on the middle of the yantar with your third eye chakar without blinking, everything else around you should go super blury but the middle of the yantar will remain crystal clear. You will see a kind of aura around the circles of the yantar and everything starts moving about apart from the focus point in the middle. The middle section represents the Bindu, the spark that created the universe. The most common yantar is Sri Yantar http://www.mandalas.com/images/Lrg_image_Pages/yantras/SriYantraMagic_8.jpg They are good if you wish to begin developing one minded focus.
  17. Great match, Dhoni and Gambhir played fantastic.
  18. Sri Lanka are brilliant, if Indias performance was like todays they gonna get buried
  19. The Singh whos dastar got taken off, he walked on like nothing had happened. If he cant even stand for his dignity then why bother discussing this? If you cant protect your dastar or dhari, dont keep one.
  20. There is little evidence that eating brain makes you smarter. Omega3 oils in fish are more likely to aid towards good brain development. Eating healthy is the key, veggies, fruit, water.
  21. Dont knock it till you try it. The hooves have allot of good marrow inside which make a great tharri/soup. The brains are eaten in a scrambled egg type sabji. The blood and liver are great sources of iron, brilliant for anyone with anemia.
