  1. If one has that kind of ' bhukh' then ask from SGGS ji - Ardas karo and he will send you the answer himself cos if I tell you the name of someone I follow or X ji  that may not come from inside...

Still fyi there are Real GURMUKHS who has been enlightened by Guru Sahib  - via Bhai Sewa Singh ji Tarmala whom most of us are following on this forum and find them '

    Amrit Drishti waale' like

Bhai Dharamjit singh ji ( Gurusar kaonke)

Bhai Simranjit Singh ji PMKC Tohana

    Bapu Gurcharan Singh ji 🇬🇧UK

    Bhai Shanghara Singh ji 🇨🇦Canada

Bhai Daljeet Singh ji PMKC Moga

    Hope that helps...

  2. I am no expert in this so may be @Lucky @Sat1176 @HisServant and others can throw a better light on this. But i didn't want a post like this to go bump hence here is my little insight on this.

When we meditate, sit in dhyaan and reach a level where we starr hearing SHABAD. - we should be happy that we are getting connected to our Real Guru - shabad. And that's when we have started going- INSIDE.

Hearing and tasting ( not drinking) are initial steps of getting INSIDE. Next, once we get 'used to' - habitual - can't live without  - this lovely dhun (we r in love with it) then comes the SEEING part- Parkash!  And *Drinking the Amrit*. From here we have to see the Parkash and do it's seva by watching...

    .......and  The journey continues

“Naam” is being used in a spiritual or religious context to refer to the divine presence of the Creator in the created world. In this context, “Naam” is seen as eternal and transcending the temporal reality of the changing universe.

The concept of “Naam” can indeed be seen as a way to connect with the divine or the unreachable Lord. Full knowledge of the Lord or the divine is beyond human comprehension or direct experience, and therefore, difficult to reach or connect with.

And in this ever-changing universe, Naam is the only permanent and accessible truth.

    Absolutely!

The absolute/ eternal is Sat and his divine presence is Naam which can be felt/ heard/ held by gurmukhs' only. So 'naam' in simple terms is Anhad bani, dhun, naad- shabad Guru.

When naam becomes pargat in a gurmukh, the First nishanee is - he starts getting Amrit ras/ har ras I  his mouth. The sweet nectar taste sat veerji has mentioned in his blog here. . There are many panktis in SGGS Ji which I canmention n will support my thinking-

    Amrit Har ka naam hai

    Amrit naam nirmolak heera...

    Har ki katha Anahad bani

    Har ka naam Amrit hai..

Pls read all har ka naam pauri from Sukhmani sahib... For more insight.

  4. Waheguru ji ka khalsa Waheguru ji ki Fateh all

Today I heard an interesting episode of A princess  called Sughado who was a true jigyasu and wanted to meet 'waheguru' in her life.... But as I tried to find any info about her on the net there was none

If any of you have any information or itihaas on this please update here. I genuinely found it very interesting and believe that such episodes should be available to us all so that we can tell such sakhis to our kids and others.

Found the following interesting article on the net, and thought of sharing with the sangat here.

Is meditation, observing thoughts or not thinking? What is it exactly?

Answer by Brian Jones, experience sharer/heartful helper.

First, there are different types of meditation.

For me, it is neither of the two that you mention.

First, not thinking is a result of meditation and not the meditation itself. The mind thinks, period. That´s what it does!

    Now lets discuss observing thoughts.

You are observing thoughts all the time. We are constantly doing this. Meditation is a practice that should train our awareness to NOT be observing our thoughts.

If your mind is a hurricane and you learn how to gain control of where you place your awareness, you can train it to stay aware in the calm eye of the storm, instead of the wall of the storm (thoughts).

The other example I give is if you want to become a skilled archer and you only shoot arrows into the sky, no skill really develops. You need to have an objective and target to develop that skill.

So, in the meditation I do, we very gently keep bringing our awareness to the area of the heart. When we realize we are thinking again, we don’t struggle with it. Just very gently redirect your attention to the heart with the idea that we are resting there, on the source of light (love), already present within us. We feel it is drawing us inward.

This type of meditation re-trains the mind from its random and often chaotic tendencies to become more regulated. Just the very act of taking our attention out of the head helps reduce the thought flow.

Within a very short time, you will become quite expert at meditation and the mind will become permanently regulated.

This is the practice of Heartfulness meditation. Combined with the transmission aspect available in Heartfulness, it is possible to reach deep samadhi in one or two sessions. This brings a lot of peace.

This person Brian Jones does live sessions on Facebook. It's first level meditation at your heart chakra. It's good for those who are in depression etc (that is lots of load of thoughts. ) for sikhi one or two loud Jaap sahib paths ( or Japji sahib/ chaupai sahib- depending on one's practice and ❤Love for the bani or an hours simran) for  that  matter will cut the crap of the mind and bring us to Sehaj....there's no path after sehaj that these quora meditators will offer you.

Above proves Guru Nanak Dev ji met kabir ji.

Okay but the point I am referring to is that both Ramanand and kabirji have their banis in our Guru and are thus Sach n sacred to us. They believe in Almighty Ram only so we are a sacrifice to them both.

    🙏

  7. If that Bani was Sach, it would have been included in Guru Granth Sahib.  If Bhagat Ramanand ji would have not been a Real Bhagat of sarvvyapak Ram, his shabad would have not been included- haina? This discussion seems worthless...

Read this priceless bani- he's condemning all the rituals of brahmins of those times even after belonging to the brahmin caste himself.

  8. Pandemic, lockdown, disease and it's fear.. Depression was universal.

Every member of the family in the house at the same time- adjustments, anxiety, loss of freedom- ROK tok, loss of routine we all went through this n felt depressed and anxious.

Gurbani- Gurmantar are the best stress  busters no medications required but kaal comes as a super powerful obstacle in many ways to stop you. In the form of strict parents telling you don't indulge in pakhands and keep on japping all the time, in the form of your children/ spouse demanding your time, sick grand parents etc. Kaal will stop you by hook or crook- we being duniyavi jeev r bound to fall in the trap but something inside tells us that oh! This was a trap- my jivan has fallen and that inside- cries - look for help. We seek forums and get all sorts of advice. Now it's our turn to segregate and understand who is the real Gurmukh here advising as per the Gurmat and who is the kaal s agent putting us in more bhatkana...

Going up and down in our spiritual journey graph is normal. Happens to each one- Gurbani is talking about soormahs, yudh, soora jo lare Deen ke heth- this fight is not external it's internal and it's normal in every aspect of life. A Sikh is a fighter. Fight the kaal, Maya and become a sachiyaar in character

Outside rehat - amritvela- banis- mahapurakh darshan are all ok- but real jivan needs to be higher inside. Gurbani has directly and indirectly told us to abstain from outside pakhands/ maryadas / teerath ishnan/ sadhu/ mahapurakh/ counted jaaps - why is sikhi turning into what pakhands kabirji, ravidas ji, Guru Nanak Sahib spoke against.

Pls use your own bibek budh. Fight the Maya jaal and stand towards sach. Falling and standing again more stronger is a part of the game no illness

    All the best

    Waheguru!

It is not compulsory for Sikhs to keep Sarbloh bibek, I remember a sakhi that I read in Anand Chamatkaar and was told to my family by behengam Singhs that steel and clean utensils, covering face and daadi, clean rasoi, reciting baani or gurmantar while preparing food is the maryada while preparing parshada thaal for guru jee. I know for a fact that Sarbloh rehat is not compulsory because I have seen a pooran mahapurkh eat food in non sarbloh utensil.

Few foods specially the sour ones get contaminated in iron vessels. Green veggies if cooked in iron vessel turns black.  .. Iron is good to cook only once a week. Excess of iron in body is also bad.
