  1. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal! Dear all and Shaheediyan Jee! Quote "I would think that Guru Ji's wisdom is not restricted to a colour," Let us agree that a color of the Guru's Wisdom exists. Bhagat Kabeer Jee is also singing. ਐਸੇ ਗਿਆਨ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਿਆ ਪੁਰਖੋਤਮ ਕਹੁ ਕਬੀਰ ਰੰਗਿ ਰਾਤਾ ॥ "aisay gi-aan pargati-aa purkhotam kaho kabeer rang raataa." SGGS Ang 92-18 This way wisdom appeared, Purkhotam, says Kabeer, imbued the color. Quote " . . .as Parbrahm wisdom is beyond our meager intellect, so recognition of the 'colours' of Guru Ji's wisdom are beyond our senses." Through activities of true Naam one realizes soon fully conscious mind. The meager intellect grows and begins to live with complete awareness. One receives the Guru's Wisdom living in body with all the senses. The Guru's Wisdom is beyond our senses till one has received it. May I ask if a person has to go beyond senses to receive the Guru's Wisdom? Quote "Those imbued with naam would experience Guru Ji's wisdom," This is true. Quote " . . .but would be unable to reiterate their experience, as experience of Parbrahm is beyond description in our limited language..." We are not talking about Paarbrahm. Please explain this. Why the Gurus go on singing about God when HE is beyond description in our limited language. Quote "Better to focus on Gursikh jeevan than on rhetorical questions." I wish to meet a non rhetorical Baabaa. Sorry to note that all Brahmgyaanees among Sikhs are dead. Perhaps someone can also suggest a name whom they want to grant this title after his death. A Baabaa may run away from true questions but why he wants us to suppress our basic urge to know God. I feel the Gursikh Jeevan begins with the true Naam Simran and evolves with true contemplation. ************** Please ponder. Gurdev is singing. ਨਾਨਕ ਸਾਧੂ ਸੰਗਿ ਜਾਗੇ ਗਿਆਨ ਰੰਗਿ ॥ "naanak saaDhoo sang jaagay gi-aan rang." Naanak, the company of Saadhoo awakes the color of Wisdom. ਵਡਭਾਗੇ ਕਿਰਪਾ ॥ "vadbhaagay kirpaa." SGGS Ang 380-9 Big luck is the mercy. Balbir Singh
  2. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal! Dear all and Shaheediyan Jee! Quote "What is the color of Guru's wisdom?" Please ask a learned person near around who has come to know the Guru's Wisdom. We should better seek the Guru's Wisdom to know the answer. Borrowed answers may intensify illusion. I have heard the Satguru and true Sikhs share these experiences along with the wisdom of true Simran. Balbir Singh
  3. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal! Dear all and Mekhane'ch Jannat Jee! Thanks for a good post. Quote "What I meant was experience of God is limited by remembering." We have experienced once, all that we remember. All experiences are complete. Also, when we are not able to realize those with complete awareness. Realizing anything with complete consciousness is experiencing God. Quote "The Gurus wisdom in my definition is wisdom outside of maya" Only God is. All what we know is God as Maya. Quote "which when known is inside maya but with an added bonus of a cleansed laser like mind dissolving the seeables and feelables into their essence." The Guru's Wisdom is also Maya that leads us with God's Grace beyond body, mind and sensual faculties. Without God's Grace Maya engages one in worldly matters. Always it is God's Hukam. Quote " . . .in my view the totality of being cannot be told, as that would imply limitation." The topic is not totality of being. The topic is the color of the Guru's Wisdom. Those, who have received the Guru's Wisdom, might have realized its color also. I felt. Balbir Singh
  4. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal! Dear all! Quote from Maha Singh Jee "RED IS AGAINST GURMAT . . ." I saw a video on Internet about colors of Sikhi. The responsible person on video also seemed convinced that red has no place in Gurmat. The Guru's are singing much thankfulness for the crimson red color though. Quote "BUT SANT JARNAIL SINGH DIDNT WEAR RED COS ITS LIKE THE HINDU COLOUR," Strange red is the Hindu color. Quote from Mekhane'ch Jannat Jee " . . . he would remember the event, by remembering it he has limited it (pinched it off) the rememberenace he now communicates through the sanskars he now has so he may say 'the guru's wisdom is pink.'" One may realize the Guru's Wisdom. This is true. I am curious to know how one can forget it after realizing the Guru's Wisdom. Is it really possible to limit the Guru's Wisdom by remembering it? I cannot imagine that one realizes the Guru's Wisdom to forget this experience. Please explain further. Is God or HIS Wisdom, now become limited because the Gurus are singing? Balbir Singh
  5. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal! Dear all and Mekhane'ch Jannat Jee! Thanks for your post. Quote "The colour of the Guru;s wisdom is red.", "But it can also be blue . . ." and "It is also white," Does it says that the Guru's Wisdom has three colors? Quote "The colour of the Guru;s wisdom is red. Because our blood is red." May I ask if the color of blood in Manmukhs is different? Quote "But it can also be blue because the sky is blue and the sky is unlimited there is end to sky, as the wisdom of the Guru reveals the unending endless." Please explain this further. What is the color of the Guru's Wisdom beyond the blue sky? Quote "It is also white, white reflects all light. The guru's wisdom purfies manush's buddhi so it pure reflects the transcendental atmaa" Is it right that Guru's Wisdom is white that is why it reflects all light? Does all the light we know, is Guru's Wisdom? Balbir Singh
  6. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal! Dear all and Rupz Jee! Quote "Ive heard somewhere about Red?" Have I understood it correctly? Somewhere it is red and some elsewhere it is other color. Balbir Singh
  7. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal! Dear all! The Gurus praise different colors occasionally? Can someone please explain what is the color of the Guru's Wisdom? Balbir Singh
  8. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal! Dear all and RupZ Jee! Thanks for the link. According to the writer ੴ is 'the original and unique logo coined by Guru Nanak'. Then he suggests that 'The mispronunciation of ੴ as Ek Oankar or Ek Onkar or Ek Omkar or Ek Oamkar or Ek Aumkar under the influence of ancient philosophy should be forsaken.' Further, the writer raises a question 'Was Guru Nanak preaching philosophy of Vedas and Upanishads?' And responses that 'Nanakian Philosophy is original and unique and has all the characteristics of universal acceptability by the humanity of the Science Age provided it is presented scientifically and logically.' Perhaps he wants to say that Guru Nanak found the original and unique truth while others not. His response is interesting that 'The ੴ is an original and unique logo (emblem) coined by Guru Nanak to represent God'. He concludes that we should pronounce ੴ as (Ek + Oh + Beant) (One and Only, Oh, the Infinite) or (Ek Oh Ananat) that portrays the characteristics of Oneness and Infiniteness of Oh, the Eternal Entity. ************** Imagine, after few decades Sikhs have stopped mispronunciation of ੴ and are practicing pronouncing ੴ (Ek + Oh + Beant) or (Ek Oh Ananat). The possibility, to choose truth between two interpretations, has divided seekers in two lobbies. Everybody is proud of being on the right path. Has Balbir Singh to come on earth again to ask the same question? Balbir Singh
  9. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal! Dear all! Gurdev wrote ੴ in the beginning of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee without giving us any instruction how to pronounce it. I wonder the preachers and translators who have always something more to describe it. Have you also something to say? Balbir Singh
  10. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal! Dear all and Cybersingh Jee! Thanks for the post and wonderful Satsang. Quote "All that you seek is contained within you so instead of asking others, meditate, contemplate on this and you will find what you are looking for." Scriptures explain all. Why are we discussing Truth on Forums? My posts are not to put anybody in awkward situations. It is enough if through that curiosity is arising. Quote "God begins at one and expands into other numbers but the main focus should be at the beginning as everything starts at a certain point and then expands." Are you talking about Aum and Ganesha? It does not matter how one calls it. Wisdom does not need a title. Please suggest all. How can one jump from any number to ONE in case so-called questions, meditation and contemplation do not work? Quote "question? How does one die to know god? Can not a person merge into him and know? If we speak on a physical aspect, when a person dies, where does the soul go? It merges into akaal.....On a spiritual plane, if a person dies, isn't that the same as merging into him as one forgets his ownself and remembers the creator?" Enlightened persons say there is no kind of knowing. Also, remembrance of the creator is gone. Quote "What is the difference? isn't God the beginning, the middle and the end?" May I ask? Does one reach HIM at the beginning, in the middle or at the end? Please explain further. Balbir Singh
  11. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal! Dear all! Quote from Cybersingh Jee "Well ask yourself this.....What is God?" I asked this. No answer. Then I asked . . . Is God One? Since then more than one answer are coming. Quote "I say that God is one." Is God no more dwelling in other numbers? Quote "God is manifested in various beings-mortals, creatures but in the end we all merge back in Him." I always thought one should die to know it. I do not know how people manage to live after merging in Him. Quote " . . . there can be many different things but at the end, it all merges back in him." Should people wait for God or the end? Please suggest. Thanks for your post. Balbir Singh
  12. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal! Dear all! Quote from Dynamic_Banda Jee "with regards to the number and God.. who knows.. who cares." Please remove 'who' and read your sentence again. With regards to the number and God knows, cares. Quote "just dance in his charan and make him happy if he so desires." One is dancing and He is happy. Truth is. He wills, He dances and He is happy. Quote "after all what does a son know of his fathers birth." Perhaps the son is busy receiving the rebirth as father himself. ************** Guru's Vaak referred by Freed Jee is "ik su tay ho-i-o anantaa naanak ayk su maahi samaa-ay jee-o." From that One becomes infinite Naanak, In that One merges Jeev. What is that One? Ego knows or do you know? HE knows. Does the Jeev have to know ONE before knowing HIM? Balbir Singh
  13. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal! Dear all! Quote from Das Jee "If I'm wrong or have said anything which is against the teachings of our Gurus or I've hurt anyone, then I would like to request for Mafi/forgiveness from the sangat......." God and His Godly world do not begin with 'If'. You have not said anything wrong. God speaking through you is truth. Ananda is recognizing this. One does not need to display his attitude anymore. Love Balbir Singh
  14. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal! Dear all and Das Jee! Thanks for your teachings. I hope we are participating here to exchange views without prejudicing others standard of learning. Quote from Das Jee "everyone knows that GOD IS ONE." I am not sure. Quote "actually you are confusing other person with the knowledge of Masters level, but the other person is still in 10th standard . . ." They realize God at the kid's level, not at the master's level. Quote "Sants/Bramhgyanis/MahaPurashs have lot more knowledge." Please do not judge others again. Quote "One should use his knowledge to spread awareness of Sikhi, instead of posting some topics with very deep meanings with are limited to only very learned people . . ." These forums are open and very interesting for all kinds of people, specially for some writers, preachers, pseudo Gurus, plagiarizers, imitators etc. I feel these topics are original. Those will motivate one to know the Truth, not beliefs. Quote "if you want only scholars to discuss the topics, then ADMIN should start a seperate thread for the scholars." I am grateful that I got the chance to spend time with saints and enlightened persons since my childhood. I wonder today the source and medium that triggered the fire unknowingly. Just imagine one instructs God which knowledge HE should impart on which student and when. Quote "please use your valued knowledge to teach something to public so that someone can learn from it." God's Wisdom is an individual matter. Balbir Singh
  15. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal! Dear all and Hari Jee! Thanks for your post. You wrote that God is 'That' and preferably 'It'. You also wrote "IT is 1 and also beyond 1, which maybe 0, and is beyond that too..." My God, are you how many? Balbir Singh
  16. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal! Dear all! God is beyond all numbers. Why and how does HE fit in the number ONE? Please explain. Balbir Singh
  17. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal! Dear Das Jee! Hearty thanks, for your posts and Satsangs. I did not know many things that I learnt from it. Your unique place in heart of Sarguna God is as great as God's Will. Let us enjoy it together. Balbir Singh
  18. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal! Dear all! Quote from Das Jee " . . . it's not that we have given GOD a name......moreover, it is NOT us who have given Ram name to GOD..........Ram is mentioned in Guru Granth Sahib Ji . . ." This is what they call the borrowed knowledge. Quote "On whom GOD has kirpa, achieved mukti even by saying one time 'Ik Om Kar'" I would love to meet someone. Quote "and at the same time there are people like us who are still trying to achieve mukti by recieting the naam for 2.5 hours and some receiting it with every breath (but in the core of the heart we think that I AM receiting naam)...............In this birth we are given the opportunity to take Amrit and do path, and we do take Amrit and doing paath, but have we attained mukti.........or we are again going to miss this oppourtunity as we did missed in all previous births?" It seems that many have not come to know them either. Quote " . . . I beg your pardon that whatever Brahmgyani says are ALWAYS right.......how could we say that it was right for that time...........Brahmgyanis are totally one with GOD, and then how GOD could be right for some time and wrong at another time." Please accompany me. Do not run faster. It is a matter between the doctor and the patient. The doctor best knows prescribing the right medicine at the right time for the particular patient. That medicine may not be for everyone. The knowledge of diagnosing and truth of medicine may be universal, specially for the learned ones. Quote "can we ask ourselves this question????? we are reciting Waheguru Waheguru all the time, but still we have NOT attained the mukti..........Why?" I do not know where Gurdev asked us to do so. Quote "Anyways, may GOD place HIS hand on us and offer us the strength to follow Guru Granth Sahib je and attain mukti." Did Gurdev suggest us to follow anyone? Gurdev suggested us to accompany Gurshabad, during inner journey. Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee is outside. Those, who have not come to know the inner journey, do not know true Simran. Quote "I would like to point that DO NOT say anything bad to any Saint/Brahmgyani . . ." Thanks for your suggestion but please allow me to scold my ego and share joy with my Saadhoo friends. Quote "I responded to this thread thinking that someone needs help in some topic, I was not aware that the this post is meant to test the people . . ." Thanks. Your help has reached well through your participation. I still do not know what they did with the sound Raam. ************** Quote from Dynamic_Banda Jee "i guess in one way it could possibly be explained like this.." People who know do not guess. Quote "waheguru and ram are all names of the same lord.. and repeating anything with the lord in contemplation is naam." I found Gurdev singing just the other way. Through Naam one gets the contemplation of the Lord and recognizes the wisdom of His Attributes. Quote "i guess the only thing that might make waheguru more then ram.. could be taking Bhai Gurdas ji Vaara, into account.. that waheguru is made up of four parts, and therefor is like saying ram and three other names at the same time.. guess its not about quantity but quality." According to Bhai Gurdaas Jee Waheguru consists of four parts. Each part is representing one incarnation of Vishnu. Gurdev is singing about twenty-four incarnations of Vishnu alone. I also feel that Waheguru is not limited. Quote "As kaljug becomes greater we need as much help as we can get." I appreciate receiving true Naam Simran in Kalijug and smile follows naturally. Balbir Singh
  19. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal! Dear all! Quote from Maha Singh Jee "Whats in a name?" All what is done and lived by Maha Singh is known by the name Maha Singh, for example. Like a person called by his name becomes interested to know who is calling, God becomes interested in that person when called by His Naam. Problem lies with people who think they know God's Naam, because they read it somewhere. Quote from Das Jee "Waheguru is not replacement of Ram (here Ram is NOT referring to Ram Chandar ji. Here Ram is the one of the name given to GOD)." Since ages many smart persons have tried to give God names, unsuccessfully. Such people think they may even give birth to God when they start japping. God's Naam is also not the decoration produced by human beings and purchased in a spiritual Bazaar organized by business Baabaas. God suggests God's names Himself and transfers through Aadi Guru, Jugaadi Guru, Sat Guru and Sri Guru to the true Sikh. Waah Guru is then by God's Grace recognized as thankful blessing. May I ask what is to be understood with the phrase 'The sound now is Waheguru, not Raam.'? Quote "One can attain mukti by saying Ram Ram or by saying Waheguru or Allah or Raab." Why are many waiting for attaining Mukti then? Quote "Remember, ganka (initially a prostitute) removed her bad deeds by repeating the name of her parrot (the name of the parrot was Ram (as suggested by a sadhu))....." All worldly people are like prostitutes. Ganikaa means one who counts. It comes from Ganit, mathematics. The Saadhoo gracefully transferred God's Naam to Ganikaa. She forgot every other counting and reached God as God is beyond all counting. That is the essence of Ganikaa's story. What Baabaa Nand Singh Jee suggested to someone was all right for that time and situation. His purpose was to bring that individual to a smaller counting first. Baabaa Nand Singh Jee also suggested all for Muktee. One reaches Muktee when all counts are finished. Balbir Singh
  20. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal! Dear all and RupZ Jee! Quote "If you cant see God in all, how can you see God at all? Ram, Allah, Vaheguru are one and the same." That is great. May I ask if God is the same after rejecting or replacing Raam? Balbir Singh
  21. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal! Dear all! I received a strange e-post today. It states 'The sound now is Waheguru, not Raam.'. I want to ask what they did with the adored sound Raam that the Gurus received from God. The word Raam occurs many thousand times in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee. In Guru's life it was active behind all Godly engagements. Please express your views if it is the new rule to become a Sikh. Balbir Singh
  22. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal! Dear all! Did the Gurus open many schools to teach Sikhi? I wonder why many branches of Sikhi are growing fast. Balbir Singh
  23. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal! Dear all and Dynamic_Banda Jee! Quote "lol why am i singled out from the dear all.. i am not part of the collective.." When a lamp lights up in the darkness, all get attracted toward him. The lamp is still in the same space with all though, not separated. Balbir Singh
  24. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal! Dear N30 Singh Jee and Dynamic_Banda Jee! Thanks for great Posts. Satsang with people who are well read is different. No sound or Shabad is destroyed once produced until it merges in total silence. Worlds go on existing because sounds never die. The sound of the Guru's Shabad works differently. The Guru's Shabad leads us to silence and at the end leaving us too merging into God. Death is a sort of separation. Shabad, when leaves us merging in God, has done his job. This separation from Shabad may be expressed through the language in many ways. Often we say that a person has become 'ateet' past when he is dead. Please listen, what Kabeer Jee and Naamdayva Jee is singing about Shabad. "pindi moo-ai jee-o kih ghari jaataa." When body dies, Jeev, to which home goes. "sabadi ateeti anaahadi raataa." SGGS Ang 327-4 Kabeer Jee (Similarly) Shabad becomes past merging in the boundary less. ************** "sabadi ateet anaahadi raataa aakul kai ghari jaa-ugo." SGGS Ang 973-1. The past Shabad merges in the boundary less. One would go to the home of Aakul. ************** The Gurus often compare the Gurshabad with 'Bohith' (boat) by the Gurus. Just imagine. The boat has reached the shore and is not ready to leave us to the shore. Balbir Singh
  25. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal! Dear all and Dynamic_Banda Jee! That is a pleasant post. The Gurus sang about the rain of Amrit. Amrit does not consist of five drops only. One forgets any kind of counting when he realizes Amrit. Balbir Singh
