    Udham Singh, a revolutionary freedom fighter, famously or infamously assassinated the British administrator Michael O’Dwyer in 1940 to avenge the loss of Jallianwala Bagh massacre. While in jail, Singh went on a 42-day hunger strike. His trial commenced at the Central Criminal Court, Old Bailey. Udham Singh was hanged on July 31 in 1940. ..
