Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh Dear Khalsa ji I am here on the request of Bro Vijaydeep Singh I first came across Baba Ranjit Singh the internet forums about the popular vedio in which he was accused for various things here is the file in question and I managed to upload it again http://rapidshare.de/files/18576641/evensmaller.wmv.html Well I never got chance to meet Him or attend his diwan as I am staying out of punjab from past few years , still I have listened to various diwans in form of vedio and audio recordinds From what I have heard in the deewans there is nothing anti gurmat in his diwans , Infact he has some new ideas about the ways of preaching . For Example 1 Using publicity in form of posters as used by other people like ashutosh ,Dera Bias,Dhan Dhan Satguru 2. Using Media in form of recordings for people to listen at home 3. Respecting Panj Pyaras on the stage 4. reinforcing the concept that all the sapradas in sikhs are just like the flowers of the same graden Sikhi 5. re inforcing the need of respecting all the different Marayadas being followed by various sikh group and infact he is of view to develop single marayada for all 6. he was quite active to make it possible for various sikh group leader to share a stage and end all the confusion and diffrences prevalent in Sikh Panth Anyway these are my own observations based on the diwans I listened in Audio form If any of you have experience of living in the punjab rural or sub urban areas then you might be aware of the problem that Sikh preacher face now a days . There is massive use of Media in punjab by various NON Sikh Groups to spread and maintain their following punjab in form of Big Posters , loads of audio cassete and cds . This is Psychological ways to impress the naive and simple minds of rural people . So the people who dont belong to any of the popular groups ( non sikhs) feel lonely and abandened and are psychologically feel pressurised to join one or the other group . Even on the Diwans of these religious groups various Well known Psychological techniques are used like Big beautiful Diwans with big posters ,fashionable clothes, use of specific greeting developed by group leaders and so on Well surprisingly Ranjit Singh himself also mentioned all these things in his dewan that why he is using all these in the preaching as it temporarly it has become neccesity of the time in punjab Infact he also mentions all the things that many sikhs in punjab thinks is still going on in line of 1984 but the solution he gives is that the most important thing that is needed is unity in the panth and the ability of the panth to act as one single force to solve their problem But still some people who are living in pakistan and various other countries think him as RSS agent and might be preparing to kill him Well to end I would say I am no expert in finding the reality of such people but what ever I have observed I have mentioned here and as I mentioned I never got chance to see him in person ,I even visited his place in Patiala jsut 15 monuted drive from city , he was not available but I have seen there is building of gurdwara underconstruction there and nothing else suspicious I found there . Till somebody or Ranjit singh himself brings something up which is anti gurmat , I think i will continue to believe him as SIKh Preacher . One more thing recently i came accross one young boy ( clean shaven ) in london ( here for study)he belongs to city of Ludhiana . he mentioned to me that this man Baba Ranjit singh has some magic that many of his friend have taken up Amrit by just attending his one diwan . So i would say as some people say that his amrit sanchar is bogus , now for me atleast this acuusation is questionable Anyway dear friends I have just put my thought s here as asked by Vijaydeep Singh and I again affirm that I am no Athourity in such issues and personally gaist this sant wad but I respect the Preacher in all the ways they are preaching SIKHI Jatinder Singh

In here was not Gurudev telling about history of Yaganas,There are many kinds of Yagnas of Vedic time,Ashwamedh(killing of horse),Narmedh(human sacrifise) and Gomedh(Cow Sacrifise),In Dasham Guru Darbar,Ram Avtar after return from forest to Ayodhya Lav Kush are told doing Yagna of cow sacfrise. In one verse of Veda God is termed Indra,And then in anothwer verse indra is eating beef.Does God eats beef ?(Khalsa can answer but this writer may not be able to answer). God isniether Sikh nor hindu but God can nver be nastik.(can any entity which is all power full may not have faith in self. Why did this happen if at all this happens.If it would have happened than it would have been shame full for hindus.So this means that at that time there were Brahmin well versed in Sanskrit left in Jammu or Himachal or Kurkshetra(all part of old Punjab),This means all Brahmins of that area with there learning are false or sons of Malechchhas(infedals).And what about Kashmiri Brahmins,What about Mohyals,They never went to Benaras nor they passed Punjab enroute.And in fact large amount of Sanskrit is written in Bhasha form in Adi Guru Darbar and still more in Dasham Guru Darbar and Sarbloh Guru Darbar.So Nath Yogis were not there either.Has writer read Sutra of Brithhari ?Gurmat dislodge Nath yogis often well versed of Sanskrit,Half went to hill rest to Rajsthan remaining became Sikh. Yes Singh ji this was the sole reason of posting it , personaly I like questioning my faith now and then it just helps me and this site questions all faiths and has a valid point the how can god deprive people of the message from him self for particular period of time and then sends some messanger with meesage for future generation it seems to be unjust So this gives support to my belief that our religion ( sikh) was more about revival of sanatan Dharma and cant be adressed as revealed religion like isla , christianity . but anyway the auther of the site seems to be on too high note to consider sikhism in this sense but I think It doesnot matter as he is helping us in someway to understand and strenghten Sikhi more Clearly Jatinder Singh

Very Smart 8) 1st thing I have many other imporatnt things to learn yet sanskrit is no where on the list And if I somehow I thought of it I dont think it will take me 4 years to do that anyway yoiu posted two replies to the post And i dont think they were of any help to me or any body reading the post so please try to write something useful and try to use the sanskrit you have learned to help others like me but any way it is your own choice

Dear Singh ji Thanks to you and all others for your responses now i try to explain what troubled me Actually a per my present understanding( offcourse it may be wrong) In sikh religion we are only devotee of akal purakh and our guru ji is our guide and we dont literaly dont worship any form About Baba Nand ji I dont want to say that whether he was wrong or right as I am in no position to do so , but now the problem is how to deal with such problem and only answer I have is our guruji teaching which prohibit us from worshiping them and they never allowed it in their human form so I would like to follow their advise and will not worship there SHABAD form ( Guru Granth Sahib Ji ) but it will bw my sould guiding force About Krishan ji in Gita Arjuna inquired: Which are considered to be more perfect, those who are always properly engaged in Your devotional service or those who worship the impersonal Brahman, the unmanifested? arjun is refering here AKAL Purakh as impersonal bhrahman The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: Those who fix their minds on My personal form and are always engaged in worshiping Me with great and transcendental faith are considered by Me to be most perfect. achieve Me. BG 12.5: For those whose minds are attached to the unmanifested, impersonal feature of the Supreme, advancement is very troublesome. To make progress in that discipline is always difficult for those who are embodied. In these lines Krishji is placing himself above the akal purakh and advising to his devotional service rather than worshiping akal purakh I t may appear so but infact it is not exactly same Our guru ji never directed sikhs toward their own personality in any sense but always directed them towards the AKAL PURAKH While Krishan ji here is clearly telling devotee to worship him So following the guru and worshiping the guru is two different concept at least for me ear singh ji you may be absolutely right but Actually this is translation done by Praopadh the founder of ISKCON International Krishna counciousness and i agree with you that they are misquoting Gita and that the reason I was looking for help ( as I dont know sanskrit ) but I tried other version of translation of Gita but all say the same thing The Help you have done me is by qouting SGGS as I always look for guidance in any problem from GURUJI Thanks for that and now it is clear in my mind that what the real teaching of gita is But still I would say that after reading three translation that in any case This qoute in Gita may not be anti Sanatan ,sikhi but atleast very confusing :roll: Actually I have some friend who are hindu by religion and also follow ISKON and SO it created my interest in it and it is not deep seated paranoia but just inquistiveness but that only problem they ( ISKON)have is that they believe in Krishna as supreme GODhead and rejects the Idea of AKAL PURAKH so I was looking for the answer to convince them and not actually myself . Rest it is very interesting that ISKON also rejects thae demi gods and hereditary caste system and may more things but they have their horns locked with sikhism on the issue of Akal Purakh :cry: Any way thanks to you all

BG 12.11: If, however, you are unable to work in this consciousness of Me, then try to act giving up all results of your work and try to be self-situated. BG 12.12: If you cannot take to this practice, then engage yourself in the cultivation of knowledge. Better than knowledge, however, is meditation, and better than meditation is renunciation of the fruits of action, for by such renunciation one can attain peace of mind. BG 12.13-14: One who is not envious but is a kind friend to all living entities, who does not think himself a proprietor and is free from false ego, who is equal in both happiness and distress, who is tolerant, always satisfied, self-controlled, and engaged in devotional service with determination, his mind and intelligence fixed on Me — such a devotee of Mine is very dear to Me. BG 12.15: He for whom no one is put into difficulty and who is not disturbed by anyone, who is equipoised in happiness and distress, fear and anxiety, is very dear to Me. BG 12.16: My devotee who is not dependent on the ordinary course of activities, who is pure, expert, without cares, free from all pains, and not striving for some result, is very dear to Me. BG 12.17: One who neither rejoices nor grieves, who neither laments nor desires, and who renounces both auspicious and inauspicious things — such a devotee is very dear to Me. BG 12.18-19: One who is equal to friends and enemies, who is equipoised in honor and dishonor, heat and cold, happiness and distress, fame and infamy, who is always free from contaminating association, always silent and satisfied with anything, who doesn't care for any residence, who is fixed in knowledge and who is engaged in devotional service — such a person is very dear to Me.
