  4. the beauty of the work that Sobha Singh Ji did was unique, in that he actually went and researched about the person or what he was going to paint. Not only did he want to know about the person or what he was painting he wanted to see them through their eyes, know their feelings.. seek the truth... my father met Sobha Singh Ji in India.. and he told me that when he arrived to meet him, a couple had come to visit Sobha Singh asking him to paint a picture of their son who had just passed away in an accident. Sobha Singh Ji researched the short life of the young person before painting his picture. Similarly.. Sobha Singh Ji painted a large picture of Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji. In order to do this he actually went to Rara Sahib to do his research and spent many months before actually painting the picture... the large painting is at a house in Hillingdon, UK. Sobha Singh Ji was a true artist... Waheguru.

  9. Fateh Har Naal Pyar Ji thats a wicked reply... gives much food for thought!! makes sense especially if we believe in Ek Onkar... the ever presence of Waheguru. for all to consider: does this ever become ritualistic though? where Sikhs dont know why they are doing something and simply do it because of tradition. Does this bring up the notion of other great sikh practices, which have simply become rituals?... is this where the power of panth is to be found?.. do we have a combined strength... to help eduate each other?.. or is this our combined weakness (duality). :?: :!: :?: :?: i would really appreciate ur views. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ke Fateh
  10. i got a question........ after ardas, if we're not in the PHYSICAL presence (tried to choose my words carefully there) of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.. do we still bow our head? .. thats to say shud we hold Guru Panth and Guru Granth on the same or different levels?
