  1. If I'm not mistaken doesn't Bhai Nand Lal Ji reffer to Guru Sahib as wali sometimes in his writings? Also, it is believed by muslims that God sent 120,000 prophets to the nations of mankind before Muhammad, and predominantly those prophets were of Judaic/Arab decent. In the Qu'ran it states that Muhammad is the "seal" of the lineage of prophets, now my understanding is that he may be the seal for the Judaic/Arab nations but doesn't hold that position for faiths or nations around the world, hence allowing scope for the lineage of prophets to continue in the Indo traditions. Its interesting however that most people believe that the line " la ilaha il allah muhammad ar rasool allah" is the opening of the Qu'ran, however that is not the case, the opening of the Qu'ran is Surah Al-Fatiha, which in my humble opinion is in line with Gurmat. May it be of significant note that the opening of any religious text is of paramount importance and in the opening text of the Qu'ran there is no mention of Muhammad, hence why I believe his prophethood does not apply to the Indo religions.
  2. this is just as masalafied as the time that ocelot nob got his kashera in a twist over gurbarakaal having Hanuman Ji as his avatar!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and freed, your too much man, trust you to post this thread on sikhsangat, next post it on islamicdomination.com LOL!!!!!!!!!
  3. i have more if you want, you are more than welcome!
  4. Shiva as Pashupatinath with Parvati
  5. and another one tibetian thangka style
  6. maybe, now im speculating, the four feet could be ways in which to reach god, and in kal yug only two of them are left , the only one left that i can think of of bhakti, and one of the legs of sat yug being tapasya, which is no-longer a path in kal yug. Again just my thoughts and speculations.
  7. from a long shot could it be the four dharams a man should go though in life shishya ghrist sanyaas etc
  8. this is ground shaking information. could someone reiterate the "real" story of vaisakhi 1699 then?
  9. to this day our perception of Mata Ji has been of a STRONG woman who contributed and made the Amrit ceremony complete by adding pataseh. If she didnt do this then what is the real story of vaisakhi 1699? And these texts which mention this arent so readily available in the UK, so if anyone could do the seva of providing the quotes will be much appreciated. This "story" is one of Sikhisms most fundamental events, the truth must be known!
  10. theek ya bhai saab i get what ur sayin but then this totaly nullifies some theories which say that without the touch of the feminine a balance cant be made to create amrit eg shiv shakti.
  11. because then that makes the entire event of vaisakhi 1699 have a question mark over it!
  12. i went on the naamdhari website and they said this "Often it is mentioned in various medias that Mata Sahib Deva Ji was the one who put Patasas in Amrit in order to make it sweeter. But if the facts are considered, it becomes clear that such an event never took place. Guru Gobind Singh Ji created The Khalsa on the First of Baisakh 1756 Bikarmi (1699 AD). whereas Mata Sahib Deva Ji came to Satguruji's Holy Feet on 17th of Baisakh 1757 Bikarmi, 1 year and 17 days later. Thus it was impossible for Mataji to put Patasas in the Amrit." this cannot be true! check some more "lies" out at http://namdhari.faithweb.com/lies
  13. LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL! @ above post!
  14. You make a valid point. And as for your comment that there is no excuse today you are absolutely right. With the case of the xtians, its understandable then why the mahapurshs of the adopted the folk aspect. Just like for example (goin a lil off topic) Bhagat Dhana, murti pooja is condemned by Guru Sahib but due to Dhana Bhagats understanding and budhi was of a low level (not trying to blasphemous) ie he was very bhola he obained God through a stone.
  15. Kirtan is not kirtan if it isnt sung in its ordained raag, therefore any such justification for akhand kirtan in the AKJ style is irrelevant, if "bhai saab" heard kirtan within himself they way in which the celestial naads ring in param dhaam, then my cror namaskaars to his religious exerience, other wise its just a way of justifying the current way AKJ's do kirtan. One thing is for sure that the AKJ do promote sikhi (a rather narrow minded sikhi) but then again in kal jug beggers cant be choosers.
  16. thats because the link is www.ragmalagurbanihai.com
  17. you know what surprises me the most is his comment that the akj have a track record of providing Gursikhs who lay down their lives. If you mean Gursikhs who caim to be in baba deep singh jis army then gwaan! And the most hilarious thing i found about this guy is his comment that Nihungs cannot take that claim. You deluded peice of soiled kachera what was budhadal created for. These AKJ's think of themselves as mahasants but in fact they brahmins that they slander they dont realise that in fact its unbelievable how close to their way of thought the akjs truly is.
  18. hmm, i would say charan amrit, but then again to receive amrit which has touched the blessed feet of the guru is sommin else too............... :? :?: :?
