I don't believe in the existence of satan myself but it's still interesting to learn about other religions/ points of views. Growing up in England the notion of a devil and associated demons scared the bejesus out of me as a child (horror films probably played a part in that too!)

I still find that stuff fascinating and like you allude to, I think semitic faiths explain vikaars, paap etc. as the influence of this malevolent external entity. We on the other hand believe that these things are the result of a failure to subdue forces placed within us by God. Growing up around it, I do sometimes find Christian mythology quite fascinating but don't mistake that as me literally believing in it!

This word is usually used in Punjab for somebody who shares power. Sometimes brothers and cousins are called Shariqs in negative way.

Nirgun (without worldly virtues), Akal (beyond time), Nirankar (beyond space) and many more are His names before, during and after this Sargun(containing all virtues) pasara of His. But this pasara is transitory and pass by. Saying that Nirankar is separate from pasara and watching it happen ( some call it testing us ) from somewhere far is contradicting His Oneness. Saying that He is letting us do things away from Him ( although with His knowledge) means that there is duality.

But there is no duality.

someone said this is from the suraj prakash granth. Guru Tegh Bahadur says "dharam hum Hindu" my religion is hindu.

Is this true if so what does this mean? Is it a fabrication if so from where? Should we believe this? Why hasn't this been addressed?

In first 4 lines, Singhs ask why they can't do good by raping sullis in retaliation to Turks raping Hinduanis.

Satguru answers in next lines.

This is rough translation. This is ancient Punjabi. I could be wrong. I don't think anybody with modern Punjabi as first language can understand this.

There is no ekta, they are blowing each other up on daily basis. Other than countries who found oil, they are poor and underdeveloped countries with no hope in near future. Even communities living in west are mostly welfare receiptants with big families and doing cash jobs like taxi, convenience stores etc. I have seen muslims pretending to be Hindus and Sikhs to hide their shame.
