  1. matheen can you explain further on the lower spiriual ascension of non-vegs? i dont think it true at all. this is not true in my own experience.
  2. the differeece between the animals and plants is their status in the food chain. the similarities is that they both contain "jeev-atma" which will on day enter a human body. no jeev-atma is higher or lower than any other. so you can say they are a similair purpose in life - that is to see out thier JOON in the body their atma entered, and they are different becasue they have different roles, physical attributes. but when it comes to eating there is no difference. Only five, you must have heard the sakhi Uch da Pir, and the moghals bring meat for the Sikhs to eat and or Guru ji tells them to put kirpan thru it and eat it. Why couldnt Guru Ji have said to them just do meditation? And Nath Mal, in Amarnamah records Guru Ji telling the Sikhs to never eat halal. why couldnt Guru Ji just have said no meat at all? and kaljug. the "recent" maryada of Taksal precedes the budha dal one. Taksal was ordained by Guru Ji himself. what was the budha dal one anyway ? one that Nawab Kapoor Singh created? or praps the singhs that decided to recreate budha dal in the 1940s?
  3. theres the problem. get rid of "I" and it will be easier to understand.
  4. they would deal with it by giving the culprit a "kutapa".
  5. Sajjad Qureshi - the freed of Pakistan.
  6. this is a line from Aad Guru that i saw. im only reading a literal translation of it and didnt understand it. This Shabad is by Guru Nanak Dev Ji in Salok Vaaraan Thay Vadheek on Pannaa 1410 First Mehla: O you with swollen breasts, let your consciousness become deep and profound. O mother-in-law, how can I bow? Because of my stiff nipples, I cannot bow. O sister, those mansions built as high as mountains - I have seen them come crumbling down. O bride, do not be so proud of your nipples. ||1|| What is the antreev message here and why does the word nipples be better than any other body part, lets say nose or eyes?
  7. Matheen, the nihangs were mute supporters of the corrupt mahants. they didnt stop what was going on at Nankana sahib, what high hopes did you have for them? in a conversation i had with Nihang Niddar Singh, he told me that the mahants were not willing to hand Nankana Sahib over to the akalis, but would only hand them over to the Nihangs Singhs. Where were they ? Why did it take a bunch of teachers/pen-pushers to do what the sword-wielders couldnt do? This morcha was not to get rid of the mahants per se, cos some gurdwaras remained in the control of mahats, but the morcha was to get rid of the CORRUPTION in the gurdwaras.
  8. this is what was wrote on this fake brotherhood site, the one i am refering to: I had a very good debate with my uncle yesterday. I asked him what was the point in having a TURBAN? we got into a heavy discussion adn these are the questions that arose : 1, How does having long uncut hair bring you ANY closer to God? 2, How does going through useless RITUALS such as wearing a Kirpan ( small knife) , a kaccha (long underwear) kanga ( a comb in your hair), BRING YOU CLOSER TO GOD OR MAKE YOU ANY MORE RELIGIOUS?? Isnt this a truer from of Idol worship? 3, Whats the point in bowing to a book you have never read? Isnt this a form of Idol worship? 4, Is a REAL SIKH an amritdhari or can those with cut hair and beards still be called sikh 5, How does drinking a bit of water called amrit and wearing turbans , not cutin hair ( which is scientifically proven to be Unhygienic) make u a better person OR A SIKH? and this is london jats effort: "pugh is a tradition amongst many holy men in punjab and india. and then don;t forget the the warrior nihang singhs." are you telling me you never read that earlier post londonjat? look at the words they use like "useless" etc. there is a way of ansking questions to learn and a way of asking questions to demean and insult. sadly for all your knowledge you fail to see the difference.
  9. the khanda headstyle is terrible. 1st ive seen. think they just tryna speak to da yoot in der own langwij.
  10. londonjat, your actions do not back your words up. on that site there is a topic mocking the 5 ks and saying they are useless etc. you have posted on it but not against the bile the others were posting. what are you waiting for? for sum1 to start posting against nihang singhs? that the onlything that gna get you going?
  11. i havent seen you refute any of the "sikhs are hindus cos it says such and such in the Guru Granth Sahib", so i wouldnt be so quick to ask others. instead you bang on about singh sabha this,m singh sabha that. it seems to me that your pathetic hatred for singh sabha has led to you claiming all singh sabha's enemies as your friends, without realising that once they deal wiv da sabha , they gonna get YOU.
  12. why? is it even more important than Gurmat?
  13. re Baba Budha being the gatka ustad of 6th Guru. I wish to present it from this angle. The Gurus from Guru Nanak had complete of the 14 vidya's. No-one could teachthem anything. However if we look at the time of Guru Hargoind's birth who gave the vardhan for 6th Guru's birth? Baba Budha Ji? Baba ji knew that Guru Arjan Dev ji had already given vardhan , but was exemplifying his Sikh, by asking Mata Ji to ask Baba Budha Ji for vardhan. Same way 6th Guru already had vidya but still exemplifed his Sikh by asked Baba Ji to teach it to him. But further to this , i dont beleive that this is where the name Budha Dal came from as some nihangs like to make out. The real vidya came from the Guru. But the army took its name from a Sikh? Think in kirtan, the real vidya came from Guru Nanak, but we dont say that the knowledge came from Bhai Mardana do we? anyways the stick-waving gatka that we see, whatever your opinion on it should still be seen as A type of shastarvidya. If it wasnt for Niddar Singh, and some of his "puratan" thoughts, i think shastarvidya would be more widespread than it is now. amritworld did excellent research on the issues of shastarvidya.
  14. londanjat from this forum seems to be a big fan of theirs.
  15. shaheedyan bro, are you going to this ? and if yes can you get audio/bideo recording please?
  16. intresting that sham chaurasi is given a high status of learning. my cousins are fromthere and they have never mentioned this so i spose that they dont even know this. i was told the the original rabab of Bhai Mardana was destroyed in operation bluestar. anyone shed any light on this?
  17. But it also got me thinking how unbelievable some modern Taksalis are in light of his writings. Some individuals must simply not read this stuff on purpose! These are classic Nirmala works, drawing on puranic quotations, sakhis from purans, references to Pandit Ishar Singh Kashi wale's writings, Mukat Marg granth, Pandit Tara Singh Narotam's work, the infamous Gurbilas Patshahi Chevvin is quoted at a number of points... can you give us any examples you have encountered with the modern taksalis? and also Sant Gurbachans first schooling was with an Udasi Saadh, where he learnt the sanskrit texts before Gurbani, which probably explains this. Modern as you refer to them, Taksalis probably never had this luxury.
  18. jus one question. in another translation of Bhai Mani Singh Ji's letter it said that TREH CHARITAR meant the female character, with TREH meaning female. in hindu or sanskrit number TREH means 3, not 303. if what you describe treh as, woudl that mean the treh charitar were not compiled in one granth at all? ie all in single or maybe groups of 20, 50 etc.
  19. i will try and get to the bottom of this. my friend is very close to Sant Ranjit Singh and i will try to get this Q? to him. yes i noticed the same thing and i tried to explain this to some others and they laughed at what i was saying as they had no knowledge of what it really was about and also cos on the tv you could only see the chains and not the tooth. Sant ji background is that he was a sewak of a sewak of Sant Ishar Singh, im sorry i cant remmeber his name. But deffo his background goes to Rara Sahib.
  20. any katha available online ?
