"The Canadian prime minister has stood up for his citizens, whereas the UK government has failed to do so."

The Uk govt has NEVER stood up for Sikhs. But Sikhs shamelessly accept this and never think about calling out the govt for it's inaction. Now that we've got a brown modi bag carrier in as PM, there's no chance that Sikhs will ever get a voice.

Even the BBC which had it's offices raided by indian national security agents in the form of "tax investigators" after the modi interviews, has become somewhat mute rather than take up the challenge against state oppression.

There were some notable ones. Bhai Hardev Singh Bapu, a UK resident returned to Panjab and became shaheed in the Khalistan movement. Sukhwinder Singh Pappu etc was also a high ranking member of Zaffarwal's KCF.

Akali Dal won one seat. That shows that still 30 years later a significant proportion of people are still in support of Khalistan.

And you need to ask yourself, if your dindu government didn't crack down hard and unnecessarily on pro-Khalistan political parties whether these parties would have acheived more. But you're not the kind really to ask to these questions.

Why not? Wales and Scotland have become devolved powers without one bullet being fired, and Scotland has already undertaken a referendum to become an independent country without one bullet being fired. So why can't your country - "the world's largest democracy" go about democracy the same way.

It's your government that broke the peace and brokered war. Sikhs didn't do it. Sikhs didn't betray the indian govt. The indian govt betrayed the Sikhs. if Khalistan cannot be made peacefully that is entirely the responsibility of your govt. So please don't come here with that rubbish.

Not all muslims backed the league and those that stayed, stayed because your devte like nehru promised them they would be safe in india. Just like your bapu promised Sikhs that Panjab would be an autonomous state.

That's only the flip of people like you. Who say "hindu-sikh bhai bhai" - you say it everyday don't you?
Even when tens of gurdwaras have been attacked and destroyed. Maggots like you blame it on anyone else but yourselves. Your state has killed something like 50,000 Sikhs in false police encounters. 1% of that is 500. have even 1% of that 50000 been killed by islamists in recent decades?

Where is Gurdwara Gyan Godri now? I bet when it was torn down, your father probably put another tirange on his shop and celebrated sales.
What about Gurdwara Dongmar ? Taken from Sikhs 3 years ago, and Sikhs having to fight it through courts which will take anything up to 20 years. What has your govt done about that?
But this post by you is 100% a typical dindu slave mentality. Anytime any Sikh raises any issue with india, maggots like you come running up to say "oh look at them islamics/muslim countries"

So india would prefer to torture, rape and kill people rather than listen to their grievances and address them as savages, rather than humans. Great. Most of the world don't claim to be the world's largest democracy. Again another time you, a maggot, says "oh look at them and we can do the same"

People of Panjab including Sikhs worked for the moghals administration. But the difference? In their hearts they worked for the betterment of the Panth.

Well, we haven't made excuses for it like you. Living outside India, our involvement and reach is always limited. But yours isn't, and that still didn't stop your lot waving those tirangas.

Well how have you got justice sitting in india? At least we have the freedom of expression here in our democracies. You dindus don't even have that.

BJP IT cell should be in the business of comedy!
But it doesn't detract from the fact that RAW killed a Sikh at the Gurdwara for no reason
In turn giving undeserved momentum to ISI+RAW double agent and comedian Pannun.

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2023/sep/18/credible-evidence-india-behind-killing-of-canadian-sikh-leader-says-trudeau ‘Credible evidence’ India behind alleged assassination of Sikh leader, says Trudeau
Leyland Cecco in Toronto Tue 19 Sep 2023 04.06 BST         Justin Trudeau has said there is “credible evidence” India is responsible for the alleged assassination of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, a prominent Canadian Sikh leader, a claim Delhi dismissed as “absurd”.
The Canadian prime minister told the House of Commons of Canada on Monday that, in recent weeks, national security authorities had been probing allegations that New Delhi was behind a state-sponsored assassination.
“Any involvement of a foreign government in the killing of a Canadian citizen on Canadian soil is an unacceptable violation of our sovereignty,” he said. “Canada is a rule-of-law country, the protection of our citizens in defence of our sovereignty are fundamental.
“Our top priorities have therefore been one, that our law enforcement and security agencies ensure the continued safety of all Canadians. And two, that all steps be taken to hold perpetrators of this murder to account.”
Trudeau said the alleged killing “is contrary to the fundamental rules by which free, open, and democratic societies conduct themselves”.
The foreign affairs minister, Mélanie Joly, said Canada had expelled a “key Indian diplomat” and “expects India to fully collaborate with us and ultimately to get to the bottom of this”.
India’s ministry of external affairs said in a statement it “rejected” statements by Trudeau and his foreign minister, adding that allegations of India’s involvement in any act of violence in Canada are “absurd and motivated”.
“We are a democratic polity with a strong commitment to rule of law,” the statement read.
The ministry said it would expel a senior Canadian diplomat in response to Trudeau’s claims. New Delhi’s decision reflects its “growing concern at the interference of Canadian diplomats in our internal matters and their involvement in anti-India activities”, the foreign ministry said.

Do you love India? Do you think all Sikhs should be loyal to India and that any who are not are ‘traitors’?
I would do the same as any Sikh ambitious sports person who lives in India and represent the national teams, but they have no choice if they want to be big in sports
And most rural Sikhs who join the army because they have no other viable options, not because they love India and want to sacrifice their life for her
Urban Sikhs are some of the biggest Indian loyalists who have seem to me, have done little in terms of sacrifice in recent history, for Sikh causes.

After listening to the whole katha of Sri Gur Panth Parkash over the last year, I felt it should be compulsory katha in Gurdwaras. It is an excellent tool to teach youngster about Sikh history and to develop love and sacrifice for the Panth.
