  3. gurfateh g first of all cursed are the hands and the mind who have thought and written such apavitar thoughts about Sant Kavi Bhai VIr Singh. u r lucvky he was such an amazing gurmukh who is above nindak that being said gurbani must be the test for what is gurmat panth parkash is not gurbani yes it is valuable for some information but at every historian knows each text must be looked at for credibility in light of other texts and history now bhai biddhi chand was a great gurmukh would u ever believe he stole women's earing for fun?????????????????? kavi santokh singh ji was amazing beyond amazing and i love sooraj parkash granth but there are things written against the philosiphy of guru granth sahib and of dasam granth bani and vaara bhai gurdas ji in my eyes these three are our first sources,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, the seva of editing done by bhai vir singh ji was crucial and only time will show the extent of how bhai sahib ji saved sikh sidhant at a time when all of india was converting to christianity
  4. baba zorawar singh jee was not executed in battle, his history is in bassi pathana near fatehgarh sahib, here is katha on him, i am from bassi pathana (well my nanke are ) and there has been lots of research going on by gurmukhs, its starts at 12:25 and it continues in the beggining here id listen to all the vids this kathawachak is amazing but here anyways
  5. gurfateh bhaji how are you with Gods grace we are working on a pdf of the japji sahib arth i will send them to you :) i remember you asking for a pdf, also would you know how i was thinking maybe email it to a sikh printing press or something, so that they can maybe make a free pamphlet or something of the sort, in reality my dada jee just passed and spending so much time in the hospital with so many dukhi souls really made me want to spread the loving messege of our gurus on all four corners...

  7. yup i think for teh one with the doulav- its like punjabi we say ghar jana or kithe hai main gharai (with 2lav) hai main schoolai hai main kamtai hai - the last one i need to know the tukh but most pecent of the time a aunkur at the end is pure gramattical gimme the tukh n i can tell u for sure
  8. the first hukmee means God the commander , one who gives hukam. The second should be a sihari at the end which means by the hukam . The third means the hukam and is in agreement with the word andar. The last is usually an adjective and the vowel is used for agreement. For example in english we have boys books the boys book and in punjabi adjectives agree to change with verbs. Its all grammer and roots . hope this helps.
  9. gurufatheh g read gurbani www.srigranth.org forgiveness is the main pillar of Sikhi gurbani says where their is knowlege their is religon(rightousness dharma) where there is falsehood their is sin where there is greed there is kal(darkness, death) where there is forgiveness their is God himself in gurbani sant ravidas says jo pai hum na paap karanta ahay ananta patit pawan naam kaise hunta if we did not sin oh infanate lord y would you b the forgiver of sinners god always forgives a mahapurash once told me that they instant tears of pachtava (regret remorse) fall from your eyes those tears clean the stains of whatever paap u did
  10. - Japji Sahib http://www.youtube.c...h?v=9uAQMVprCTA - Jaap Sahib the hope is that this will help our youth understand bani and vocabulary as well as those Sikhs who have converted from atheism or otherfaiths for a deep relationship with bani as well as clear up doubts about certain lines in dasam bani as well savaiya sahib chaupai sahib and anand sahib katha will be up soon
  11. Gurfateh to all sorry for the lateness but lately i have been sick first and then the last two months i was in PUnjab but while Guru kirpa naal here is another form of prof.sahib singh jis arth with Japji Sahib and Jaap Sahib english katha hopefully this will help understand the bani on a whole meanwhile with Gods grace those arth will be up asap the 21-38 pauri and last salok of Jap Ji Sahib
  12. fateh g Prof ji explains that the correct spelling is with a tippi there r three parts the ik the number meaning one second part is the word onang which means bhram-God in Punjabi it is spelled with a tippi so transliteration cant b trusted unless there is a key with gurmikhi akkhars its like the word namastang or ajooni saibhung the ng is usually a tippi sound so its ik oang and the last part is kaar which means an infinate or endless force that is constant Prof ji explains that the word is made of these three parts this will be explained in detail at the moolmantr section
