  2. I agreed with you but my point was if academic can have that mind set to study for long hour, so can we and start to make a routine of doing simran. Just as you have advised, 5mins is a good start and gradually increasing to an hour and if maharaj do kirpa, even longer!
  3. Waheguru ji ka khalsa waheguru ji ki fateh, Im amrit, recently graduated studying BSc coomputer science at Birmingham uni! Currently working a a software test analyst at IT Consulting Company in London. 5. Thank you for being so generous! waheguruu.. I will make an appointment and see what doctor says.
  6. Veerji, it happening since last 3-4 year but recently its happening every 2-3 day and its draining my energy. Those we had similar problem before will understand better!
  7. Thank you veer ji. I will book an appointment with GP and hope he will refer to phychologist!
  8. Samurai: I will start swimming, maybe it will help, currently i can reach another end on 25m pool, i can only do half way.
  9. As i work as software tester, most of the time when I am free, i would just listen to sukhmani sahib and it the favourite part of my day. I love listening to this guy doing sukhmani sahib path is melodiuos way.
  10. Bhaji, i have read the shabad few times now, guess i will memorise and do it 108 for a certain period e.g 40 day, 90days. No, i haven't seen any counselling or psychiatrist yet. I might go and see the psychiatrist one day.
  11. I love listening to katha and i will listen to this one. Thank you, soulfinder for sharing the katha link. Because of my asthma, i have limitation to do workout, as if i do jogging or lift heavy weight at gym, i get shortness of breath. I am struggling, i hope maharaj will do mehar di nadar on me!
  12. What are your suggesstion for keeping a 24hour or 48 hour fast. I tried 24hour fast yesterday and i felt really good. I had a sense of coolness, light mind with very minimum thoughts. It was a good experience! Has anyone tried 24hrs or 48 hrs fast, do you think it will be helpful to combat wetdream?
  13. Soulfinder: Thank you for the suggestion. I do listen to sukhmani sahib path daily and do 1hr simran before i go to sleep. I am trying to surrond myself around gurbani but at the moment it is not helping much and its draining my energy making me feel less motivated and interested in life. Its been happening since last 3-4 years, after every 2-3days. i guess i will have to live with it. Mareh Karam..
  14. Jageera: I don't see the same woman, lol. Sometime i don't see any but it still happen.
  15. Thank you for the suggestion samurai.
  16. Lol, samurai.. Lifting weight is a good idea, perhaps i need to build stamina, having asthma i am very limited to do exercise! Thank you for your suggestion!
  17. Thank you for all the suggestion. dalsingh: I agree, but i am not in good health state to get married. I don' think its fair for the girl to marry someone who is not healthy. My focus is to be healthy and be a good fit before i take the step.
  18. I'm 25yrs, please dont say it's natural to have wet dream every 3rd day.. Any recommendation of medication or exercise, e.g sit ups to reduce the effect of it. Thanks
  19. Personally, i feel when it comes to bhandgi we are very naive. Students who study medical science, engineering, usually revise for few hours straight. I had few friends who would study 6 hours straight with minimal breaks. We should encourage each other and have a can do attitude. Guru tegh bahadur sahib ji, did bhagti for 26 years. Guru Gobind singh ji in their previous life did continuous bhagti. Why his sikhs not able to do 3hr bhagti, instead we say that we only need pyaar, lol.. Was guru sahib not full of pyaar! By the way, I've heard in katha that 3.5hrs sitting is called one samadhi (or similar)..
  20. How can i overcome frequent wetdream. Any recommendation? Medicine, Exercise, etc.

  22. In Memory of Shahibzadey Shaheedi, Naam Simran Smagam is happening at Darbar Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, Walsall, West-Midlands. Sangat Ji, We are fast approaching the 'festive season' again this year, but what does this time of the year really mean for Sikhs? This is the time of the year that one of the biggest sacrifices in history was given by our father Dhan Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj. In the month of Poh Maharaj sacrificed his four sons, his mother and countless Sikhs in the name of dharam. This was the fulfilment of a promise Guru Gobind Singh Ji made in 1699 when he, as Guru, knelt down in front of the Panj Pyaare and begged them for the gift of Amrit. The Panj asked Guru Sahib what he will give to receive this Amrit and Maharaj said they will sacrifice their entire family to get this divine gift. In memory of this Baljit Singh will be doing a daily katha over 13 Days telling the full story. This is part of the Naam Simran Smagam being held at the Gurdwara. Full details are below please be sure to attend! 19th December to 31st December. Daily smagam program: morning Simran 5am-6am & evening simran 7am-8pm 13 Larivaar Shaheedi Katha 8pm-8.30pm Darbar Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, Rollingmill Street, Walsall, WS2 9EQ Maharaj has given and today continues to give so much for us, this time of year is a perfect time for us all to reflect on what we have really sacrificed to Maharaj. Please make effort to attend and share with others, it is so important that we all know about this chapter in our history!
