  2. hello all, I'd really appreciate if i could get some help in identifying some old handwritten scriptures, these were handed down to me from my grandmother, i had been an atheist all my life, but now I'm starting to accept god or some higher power and I've been studying various religions, including Sikhism. and then these old scriptures came to my mind, these seem to be handwritten in Gurumukhi script, though i cant read or understand them, i'd really appreciate if anyone on this forum would help me in understanding what these books really are, their significance, historical & religious value Thank you in advance Peter//
  3. SriGranth.org was the best and oldest site for Granth Sahib, as it was simple and non-distracting. I was very disappointed to see it go down for so long. Because of this, I have hosted https://nitnem.net/srigranth which is also non-distracting. It will also keep track of the page you left off on and let you zoom, hide transliteration, etc. as well. There is no server-side code, just JavaScript (JQuery) and HTML. I have not added Granth Sahib to my app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.malton.nitnem&hl=en. If requested, I can do so. Thank you,

  5. IK ONKAAR SRI WAHGURU JI KI FATEH Khalsa ji i want to ask several ques. On sarabloh granth. Nihang singh have a tradition of respecting all the three granth (sggs, sdgs, and ssg). They say that sarbloh granth is a sacred and secret granth from all because british and mughals were destroying the granths thats why this is a secret granth. I have a ques. that sarbloh granth appeared in late 19 th century, none of the courtcourt poets of guru gobind singh maharaj has ever said or quoted any bani of sarabloh granth, in sarabloh granth there are many anti-sikh bani: In japji sahib of sarabloh granth 322 pauri There is emphasizing on hom, tilak, gaytri mantra, etc all the anti-sikhi propaganda. Moreover there are banis on being intoxicated by marijuana. Alcohol etc and there are banis that guru ji gave gurgaddi to SGGS and there is story of sarabloh devta but sarabloh deva stands no where in Hinduism and there is bani that guru baba nanak is bestowing to the davta. And in some verses the poet used the pen name of guru maharaj also like gobind, shyam, ram & kaal. so i am not understanding that is sarabloh granth that book of tenth guru. Please help.

  9. There is a passage in Sri Sarbloh Granth asking the Khalsa to perform a Havan. I think its a metaphor used to highlight the necessity of performing langar seva, we light fire which is used in havan but we use it to feed people and do not feed the fire itself. Can anyone provide the specific passage? Thanks.
