What Is Kaal?

Recommended Posts

Kaal (TIME) is most powerful entity in this temporal reality. Every creation including all the devtay, avtaars, trimurti and multitudes of other incarnations etc are under its spell. Kaal is sargun manifestation of Akaal.

Does anybody doubt it? Can anybody deny it?

And

Is it worth worshiping?

Kaal is binding this reality together. Nothing came before Kaal (except Akaal himself). You can't make stories of how Kaal is created or Kaal is son or daughter of anything. Before Kaal is beyond human comprehension.

Kal is functional name of God.

All the other prevalent object are within KAL, only One supreme KAL is ever Timeless and eternal.84.

Laalsingh:

Compare Akal Ustat with Sri Kal Ji Ki ustat from Bachitar Natak. It's clear these bania are describing the same Brahman, though in Sri Kal Ustat the destructive kirtnaams are used along with ferocious imagery to ignite bir ras in the Gursikh who reads it.

I used to recite it before a fight (before I got too old and bruised to do that kind of thing anymore. ;-) ).

Is it worth worshiping?

No it isn't worth worshipping but it is worthwhile to think about it:

1) Sarab Kaal - all-time

2) Maha Kaal - Great-time

3) Javan Kaal - within-time

Akaal is achal abnaasi and works through kaal.

Kal is not time only.It has multiple meanings.

Namo Kaal Kale

Jap Sahib

Above guru sahib is saluting Kal as God saying that You are death of death.

Meaning of kal is to be interpreted per context.

Guru ji writes

Namo Sarab kale

Namo sarab dyale

Namo sarab Rupe

Namo Sarba bhupe

Here sarab kale is salutation to God.

In the verse below Kal is refrence to akal purakh

Oh Lord none could comprehend your actions and Your maya ahs influenced many and still many more ahve to come in her clutches. 26.

Kal is no independent being by itself.

He is a servant of Akal Purukh, and who under His Hukum, is administrating the triloki creation. All gods, prophets, incarnations, are his creations, his messengers to keep the creation going on, until, it is His mauj, to pack up the creation and abosorb all and everything into Him, just as in the initial stage.

But while, the creation can go on for Yugas after Yugas, yet by His apaar kirpa, according to Gurbani,  if anyone holds on only to just His one Nam (here no chaturaee, no rituals, no nonsense , or cheatings);  then one can get up lifted from this mayavee perishable creation and reach Nijh Ghar of Sach Khand.

@Soulfinder.. bro leave it mate, you will have the intellects coming for your throat..

This is sikhawarenss not khalsaawareness... stick to Guru Granth Sahib which is for universal ears/eyes and kaal can be answered using Guru Granth references, no need to use dasam granth for it...

All the best bro!!
