Honour And Help Preserve Guru Gobind Singhs Khalsa This Vasakhi

Recommended Posts

Vaheguru ji ka Khalsa Vaheguru ji ki Fat-heh

Firstly, vadiyan sare sangtan nu – on the auspicious occasion of the creation of the Khalsa – the servants of humanity.

To celebrate Vasakhi this year with true purpose, I kindly ask you all, in the true spirit of preserving the meaning of Vasakhi, to actually help the poverty and drug stricken Punjabi youth by sponsoring a poor Sikh child with a regular monthly donation.

This will help pay for a stable education, keep them away from the drugs epidemic and provide an opportunity for the child to help lift his uneducated and poor family out of poverty and out of an adharmic lifestyle.

In reality, there is no point in us celebrating Vasakhi if we can’t even look after Guru Gobind Singhs struggling Khalsa families in Punjab. The projects are very sensibly put together, families are expected to keep to a contract to live Gursikh jeevans and their child is to attend Gurmat classes 2-3 times a week, being taught by Khalsa Aid employed Sikh Missionary to ensure that they are receiving a spiritual education as well as an academic one.

Please see the below links, and also consider donating to Khals Aid world wide disaster projects in the spirit of Bhai Khanaya.

I would advise calling or e-mails Khalsa aid to get more details re sponsoring a poor Sikh child so you know exactly how it works and can be confident in your help.

Please donate generously and regularly to this amazing charity, and PLEASE forward this e-mail to all your Sikh family and friends.

How can we preserve Khalsa when most of the punjabi "amrit-dhari" parcharaks do nindya of ancient khalsa traditions and maryada, even SGPC doesn't respect these!

There aren't that many nihangs around punjab to preserve Khalsa, only mostly see pakhandis!
