Plagarism In Islam

What does everyone think about islam stealing hinduism from the original vedas? Islam teaches dhikr India has been doing simran for along time.

Islam uses the word Allah for God this term appears in the vedas. Monotheism is taught in vedas. Islam teaches unity of humanity i.e. against caste system and tribalism and racism - this teaching comes in the gospels of jesus and originate from Buddha in India.

" Allah has created man as many races and nations so that they would know one another. "

Furthermore the teaches of avesta (who was a hindu) and created zorostraism whose religion went to arabia and followers known as the fireworshippers by the arabs he taught principles form hinduism that went into Islam.

16:66 (Asad) And, behold, in the cattle [too] there is indeed a lesson for you: We give you to drink of that [fluid] which is [secreted from] within their bellies between that which is to be eliminated [from the animal's body] and [its] life-blood: milk pure and pleasant to those who drink it. [75] -

This teaching in islam used to justify the science of the quran revealing blood in cows milk originated from Krishna, krishna gives significance to cows milk, the cow and milk being present hindus believed the milk of the animal contained it's blood and if you drink the milk of an animal you should not eat the animal.

As for embryology there was a lot known about this subject area by the Egyptians who were the first to invent condoms. Additionally as for science such as the moons light being reflected noor- hindus were the most advanced in the area of astronomy many other philisophers had alot of knowledge on astronomy.

Also from the website in the later posts this is given:

To begin with, we demonstrated in the foregoing section that the form of the quote in 1 Cor. 2:9 is unique to the Apostle Paul, being his way of paraphrasing and/or combining texts in generalizing an OT theme. The quote reflects Paul’s own wording and summary of God’s promise to believers. The most astonishing aspect about all this is that Muhammad cites 1 Cor. 2:9 and attributes it to God. Compare these statements:

However, as it is written:

"No eye has seen,

no ear has heard,

no mind has conceived

what God has prepared for those who love him." (1 Corinthians 2:9)

Narrated Abu Huraira:

The Prophet said, "ALLAH SAID, ‘I have prepared for My righteous slaves (such excellent things)

as no eye has ever seen, nor an ear has ever heard nor a human heart can ever think of.’"

(Sahih Al-Bukhari, Volume 9, Book 93, Number 589)

Yaar I would encourage you to stop reading about islam and hinduism online, and go into books instead. THe internet is good to get a taste, but you should move on to books to see the full picture.

A good place to start is with Daniel Browns "a new introductoin to Islam"... Though the title make it seem like its a book for new-comers to Islam it is an excelent book combining tradition with modern scholarship on Islam. Its one of the best books i've ever read on Islam and it should help you to get an overview of the various litterature among muslims since the 9th century(especielly why the hadith litterature is not reliable at all in painting a picture of the historical Muhammada) as well as the historical developement of sufis.

if you buy it or borrow it, make sure you get this version ( the one with the red mosque cover)

The books are not to show whether islam is true or not, but rather to give an insight into the historical developement of Islam...

My beliefs are that Islam, like all other religions, have changed since the foundation to its standardization in the 10th century

There are 2 main errors apart from the maths error in shariah inheritence. Also one about saying how the earth was created then the heavens. Modern day cosmology tells us first the heavens were created then the earth. Second is the quran says every thing was made in pairs male and female. Not all living organisms are sexual many are asexual they do not have gender some fish are some plants they reproduce themselves. There are more errors perhaps with science will be revelled however for now these 2 are subject for debate and it will be nice to hear more and counter arguments for those 2.

Another copy paste and paraphrase is:

Their first example comes from the Greek playwright Euripides, who died circa 406 BC. He is supposed to have written: "The tongue is mightier than the blade."[8] If the People's Almanac is correct, it should be possible to source this to an extant work by Euripides; however, the quote does appear in the 1935 fictional work Claudius the God and his Wife Messalina by Robert Graves,[9] and is thus possibly an anachronism.

Several possible precursors do appear in the Old and New Testaments,[10] for example, in the Epistle to the Hebrews, whose authorship is uncertain, verse 4:12 reads: "Indeed, the word of God is living and effective, sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating even between soul and spirit, joints and marrow, and able to discern reflections and thoughts of the heart."[11]

The Islamic prophet Muhammad is quoted as saying "The ink of the scholar is holier than the blood of the martyr".[12][13] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_pen_is_mightier_than_the_sword

To those who reject Our signs and treat them with arrogance, no opening will there be of the gates of heaven, nor will they enter the garden, until the camel can pass through the eye of the needle: Such is Our reward for those in sin.[3]

...I tell you the truth, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.

Parallel versions appear in Matthew 19:23-24, Mark 10:24-25, and Luke 18:24-25.

I and the guardian of orphans (whether the orphan be of his near or distant relations, or of strangers) will be in one place in the next world; like my two fingers, nearly touching each other.

The best Muslim house is that in which is an orphan, who is benefited; and the worst Muslim house is that in which an orphan is ill-treated.

Islam could be understood to be the corrections of christianity so jesus's teaching fixed..

What did Muhammad teach us that Jesus didnt?

Jesus(PBUH) just confirmed what was already taught before him, by Moses/Noah/Abraham/etc.

And when Jesus son of Mary said: O Children of Israel! Lo! I am the messenger of Allah unto you, confirming that which was (revealed) before me in the Torah, and bringing good tidings of a messenger who cometh after me, whose name is the Praised One. Yet when he hath come unto them with clear proofs, they say: This is mere magic. [Quran 61:6]

And Jesus was sent to Just the "Children of Israel" as said above and in this Bible verse:

" I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. " (Matthew 15:24)

Prophet Muhammad(PBUH) on the other hand, was sent to all of mankind:

وَمَآ أَرۡسَلۡنَـٰكَ إِلَّا ڪَآفَّةً۬ لِّلنَّاسِ بَشِيرً۬ا وَنَذِيرً۬ا وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَڪۡثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ (

And We have not sent thee (O Muhammad) save as a bringer of good tidings and a warner unto all mankind; but most of mankind know not. [34:28]

The Bible, and Torah got corrupted.

The Prophet brought the entire truth, ISLAM, and Allah's finalized message, the Quran.

Now with jesus for us he is a saint but he is different in terms of his love compared to prophet muhammads warrior hood which even jesus could be seen with but is shown with greater love. http://www.pleaseconvinceme.com/index/Who_Did_Jesus_Claim_to_Be

Jesus could be compared with avesta and the buddha more with shades of moses and abraham.

From a sikhi perspective prophet muhammad did attain enlightenment and shows a path to it.
