Kahn Singh Nabha doesn't think it is a composition of dasam pita. Mahan Kosh say defines it as such: ਦਸਮਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਦੀ ਖਾਸ ਬੀੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਸੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਦੀ ਰਚੀ ਹੋਈ ਇੱਕ ਬਾਣੀ, ਜੋ ੪੩ ਪੌੜੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਹੈ. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I haven't read those granths. dalsingh101 Posted December 2, 2011 Author Report Share Posted December 2, 2011 Well, I've only really started to progress in my Panjabi very recently. And that is with a LOT of effort. I know some people seem to be natural linguists in that they can pick up languages really quickly, retain vocabulary, remember grammar nuances etc. I'm certainly not like that. I do find older granths like Suraj Prakash etc a challenge. It's very informative. lots of reading material there.There is a shabad of Guru Ram Das Sahib in GGS Ji in the Brahm Kavach in Das Granthi Pothi.
