Bhai Nirmal Singh Khalsa Performs Kirtan At Anti-Sikh Namdhari Dera

Recommended Posts

In an anti-Sikh stance, Hazuri Ragi Sri Darbar Sahib, Bhai Nirmal Singh Khalsa performed Kirtan at Anti-Sikh Namdhari Dera.

The incident took place on 17th October 2014 when Namdhari sect organised their Assu Mela Naam Smagam at Dera Bhaini in Ludhiana.

It is really sad that such a senior and renowned Kirtaniya visited an anti-sikh Hindu dera and also performed kirtan in presence of a a dehdhari Guru.

In a statement given by Bhai Nirmal Singh via a handwritten Note, he stated that he was unaware that the dera cheif was going to himself sit at a stage set for Guru ji. He also mentioned that he performed kirtan after being forcefully requested by the big gathering of so-called sangat there.

But these clarifications really raise eyebrows on their validity.

The first question that goes to him is that who does not know about the Namdhari dera smagams. Everyone knows that the Namdhari sect considers a dehdhari as their Guru as opposed to Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji.

Secondly why did he visit the dera to accept a ‘Sanmaan’ from them? Is it really worth receiving a momentum from an anti-sikh cult?

According to available sources, Sikh Sangat has demanded Akal Takht Jathedar to summon him at Akal Takht Sahib.
