9 Injured As Sikhs, Dera Sirsa Men Clash In Makhu

Recommended Posts

As for the "Kishan Bishan" thing I can't even say anything similar about Govind or Govinda because even those are the names of Shri Krishan.

Krishan Bishen refer to Krishna and Vishnu. There are various other names for vishnu namely Madhav, Vasudeva, Prabhu, Chatur Bhuj.

What an idiot you are who doesn't know the name of your god Bishan is the name of Vishnu.

'Mai na ganeseh pritham manaoon, kishen bishen kabhoon na dhianonn.z

Guru Gobind singh ji writes in Dasam Granth that he does not recognise them as God. He is only a believer in akal purakh.

Insults aside, I hope this clears up the Kishan Bishan confusion.

As far as idol destoyer goes, the Guru explained the following to Aurangzeb:

Aurangzeb's army would break idols in mandirs (as you know). Some mandirs being very big would have thousands of worshippers daily. But now, with that idol broken, the worshippers began setting up idols in their homes. Guru Ji explains to Aurangzeb that you have not broken one idol, but created thousands.

Now, the Gurusikh way is opposed to idol worship. So, it is that the Guru is preaching against the mentality of idol worship, to rise above it. This is what the Guru means when he says that He/the Khalsa is the real idol breaker..

Hope that clears it up for you.

Its good that you googled it for me. It looks like you didn't know either. Thats fine because their are millions of names of God in a million different languages.

I would not expect yourself to know anything about any Granths (Hindu or Sikh) when your community has made very little contribution to them.

Come on over I'm waiting at Haridwar. You don't have to change your name or dress this time.

What do you mean by this?

Hindu Granths aside, which Sikh Granths have Sikhs not made a contribution (or very little contribution) to?

"Your Community"? So, you do see Sikhs as separate and distinct from Hindus :) ?

It's a shame that, as soon as you got the answers to your questions, you resorted to cheapshots like the above.

Oh well...

One cheap shot deserves another- re-read Amars post again. I guarantee the "Phudhu Bahman" has contributed to these granths than any tomator planter.

See, my problem is that some posters don't seem to have a sustainable position.

On one hand one poster says Sikhism is neo-Hinduism, another says Sikhism is kyestria dharm and then in the same sentence claims Niara pan.

I like kyestria dharm though it's model, rituals and way of life were created specifically for a certain caste( yes sir a certain caste) and codified by the Brahmans.

In effect, by following kyestria dharm you are going back into bahmanvaad not out of it. The first word "kyestria" already talks about a caste.

Personal insults aside, please remember that Brahm Gian is not limited to any caste. Any contributions made to any Granth would not have been because of caste, but because of the contributor's bhagti/Gian (whether he be a brahmin or a tomato planter).

A Niara Panth makes the Khalsa bereft of caste hatred and develops a identity which is considered Chatur Varniya,..has all the qualities of all the 4 Varnas .and be clear that Varna is not caste .

Codified by Brahmans - They did not code , some corrupt among them adulterated it .The Vedas are not authored by the brahmans.Vedas talk of Varna which was not based on birth .

Kshatri Dharam does not go back to brahman vaad in any way ..the Kshatri Dharam follower is ready for war out side and within . When you will do Baani of Guru Gobindsingh ji you will be able to understand the bhaav in the Baani.

I think it's because as soon as someone does mention the word kshatriya or anything similar, some posters (who have their own agenda) are ready in waiting on the side lines to assimilate it in to Hinduism.

Similarities does not mean copy. Just because I have eyes, doesn't mean I copied you :)

Bad analogy sir. It's more like this. You see me eating roti with mattar paneer with some pachraanga aachar at the side and you also want roti with mattar paneer with pachraanga aachar at the side.

And you go out of your way in finding out where and how I got this roti with aachar. You command your wife to go to the local golden grocers ( now closed because of drug running) and get the exact same thing.

So, by your logic, if you saw the sun and say "the sun has risen.", then I see the sun and say "the sun has risen. ", does that mean I've copied you?

Also, no need for any achaar when you have mattar paneer!

Even worse analogy. We know that you got your roti though the oppression of the majority of india's peoples and we don't want to be a part of that.

So The Guru's started the practice of Krit karni, which means that we earn our own roti, not expect others to earn it or us.

You see this and get jealous because can't accept people of all castes eating together and ask your husband to think of lies to negate what we strive for.

Maybe you should give that Kirit Karni sermon to the people that don't work..it could help them perhaps that's why they don't have roti in the first place...

socialist welfare schemes...,lol

wha? kirt karna is not just about working, but working honestly and with no desire to fraudently obtain what is not yours. Haq paraiya Nanaka...

what a vile person you are. through and through. thinking that people go hungry just because they don't work.

What else do you attribute it to? Out of 10 poor people perhaps 1 is in genuine need of help. The rest of them just do not want to work or made bad career choices.

Nobody who makes good choices in life with a solid work ethic can go hungry. Yeh apun ke philosophy hai beedu..

However, since you seem to be such a himmati of poor people can I ask what you have done in the last 4-5 years to help them? Or are you just internet hawa? A warrior, sadhu or true himmati of the poor gives up everything else to accomplish his goal. Even the clothes off his back.

and your activity on here is the same as well. you hypocrite.

It is ironic. Mainstream religions are accused of bombings, slitting throats, hacking people to death, preventing women from getting an education, sati, arms and drugs smuggling, hijacking, making inflammatory statements, corruption and everything else you can think of. Just to fund and propagate their latest cause.

Can this dera be accused of such obscene crimes? Should I ban the dera or mainstream religions? (Hinduism, Sikhism, Christianity, Islam, Judaism)

I attribute some of it to circumstances that are out of their control that can leave them destitute or with very little

i.e. like 1947 or 1984. or in 1972 in Uganda.

Then there are also people who deliberately commit fraud and such, take away others livlihoods.

Vile creature? Neti Neti..

Yes, people under famine, war, bad governments with bad economic policies are special circumstances and should be helped.

Had a chance to visit punjab about 3 years back. I watched some pretty well fed young lads just standing around street corners doing nothing. Or just cruising around all day with a wad full of Bapu's money.

A lot of them will get into the business of religions. Loads of cash. Nobody can really test your theories or teachings because its all faith.
