Just wanted to let our members know pm email notification is now working which means when someone pms you on here, it will also send a email notification to your email for speed viewing.

More changes are coming.

In next few days, week there will be some more changes to site categories-

- We will be opening up gate for anonymous users/guests to post under a new category- Guest | Anonymous section where guest can post, make a new thread, post etc Guest posts will be subjected to moderation which means post/topics will be approved before it shows up to ensure quality.

- There will be cosmetic, backend system optimization etc.

Any feedback from sangat is welcome and appreciated. Together we can make cyber sangat hang around place more better.

Guest reply restrictions now lifted on all sections, this forum is now fully guest friendly- they can fully make new post, post replies. Guest posts will show up after approval to ensure quality.

The new forum crashes on iPhone all the time on both chrome and safari.... Not the main page but if you try to view any posts it crashes right out of the browser. :(

Please consider adding the code to add your forum to Tapatalk.  That way browser is not needed as Tapatalk aggregates all the posts into its own app. SikhSangat uses it!

I have no problem with the site and I'm using an iPhone.

For me when I try to view posts, it just exits Google chrome, and for mobile safari it keeps trying to reload the page saying there is an issue on the page. I am using iphone 6+ on ios 8.3 if that helps...

I get the same behaviour in Mozilla. It complains some pages have errors and keeps on trying to load them

I think there may be an issue of copy and pasting urls straight into posts, they don't seem to turn up?

 

But it works if you use the 'Link' button.

We are transferring to new host in next couple of weeks hopefully that will help.

I am still having the issue where the site just crashes any browser in iOS. I tested safari, chrome and also opera mini. They all crash.  It will load the main page or topic lists.  But as soon as you try to load an actual thread, it just crashes and closes out of the app.

One way to deal with this would be to add the site to Tapatalk.  Then the content is loaded in the Tapatalk app.  Sikhsangat I believe is available on Tapatalk.  And the app is on both iOS and Android.  Benefit is you would be listed in their forum database, drawing in more members.  Think it only requires a line or two of code to be added...
