This thread might help answering your question:

Thanks bro.

1. Mand Bairaag:

Desire of Avgun

From my Katha notes - Mand Bairaag is a temporary bairaag. For example, a male, who has lost his wife or due to a loss, does not want to get married.

Can you please make the connection?

As seen in the above posts, it is true there maybe many types of bairag.

Bairag basically means dettachment from something. It also means awareness awakened.

But the thing is we sholud not get confused with the different types of bairags.

Our main concern is, to realize we are away/separated from Wahiguru, and trapped in this mayavee creation.

And then the next step is to take the benefit of that state as soon as possible, we do not know how long that state may remain in us, so while in that state, we must start doing something which can fill that void of being away from Him, and  as said before, doing something which may take us to the other side of the shore, means attachinh ourselves with His Nam.

No attachment can create any dettachment, it is only by dettachment that we can attach ourselves to something far better and eternal, like Wahiguru, and that is is His Naam alone.

As some beloved one of Wahiguru has said:

attachments gradually slacken, as one begins to enjoy mediation of His Naam. With the inner bliss that one experiences, all worldly pleasures and atachments begin to appear less attractive and important.

How it affects our life?

What is the exact timings to  recite this bani?

This bani starts from an ardaas, shall we have to recite this bani while in standing position?

Our elders stops us to recite this bani as they says that reciting this human can't control his anger...!

(if this is true, then y we have been teach since childhood that reciting bani, makes our mind peaceful...?

Can any veer help me out to understand these?

How to step in indrie bairaag... how we can give up five indries...

Only by intense love and longing for Wahiguru, and that can only be acheived by His Simran alone.

His Simran, is the door to all virtues and spiritual realization.

In the katha below, Gyani Harbhajan Singh jee Dhudikey narrates a real life incident, where a person seemed to have attained a Bairag birthi.
