Proper Warm UP routine ?

as he said in beginning its about what works for 'you'...

For my training now i need to warm up and then stretch..and also post workout stretch..(my pre workout warm up and stretch takes a good 10 mins)

but when i did weight training i didn't warm up i just stretched muscles and did not do post work out stretch as my muscles were too sore after session..
