Tu rendeh, there's 200 million muslims in Pakistan and when their country eventually implodes it will kick off massively in East Punjab.

They don't need to implode , they will just need to violently capture power and take over pak nuclear and missiles and then they will throw it on India as far as they can.

A lot of attitude from goray out there these days because of these things.

What other consequences did these fudhus expect from jumping into wars in the mid-east?

Oh yeah, they probably thought it would be a walk in park or something.

@samurai @HSD1 and anyone else from the UK

What do you reckon the chances of something similar happening in the UK in 2016 are?

They were targeting American prior to 1990 Gulf war for supporting Israel, also France opposed 2003 Iraq invasion and got Suicide bombers in return and almost on every corner of world where there is sizeable muslim minority they are in conflict with majority

To be honest i felt last year there would be a major attack here but obviously did not happen.. I do believe its  matter of time till we get attacked here but i thinks its going to be many smaller attacks at different locations rather then one major attack. A big problem is sulleh who are getting trained from syria are being allowed back into this country. I also feel there's a bubble waiting to be burst and these attacks are going to cause major riots..these attacks are just going to be a 'bahana' for people to kick off. A bit like the tottenham shooting was just a 'bahana'..But those riots were just a warm up i feel. This is just my opinion not based on any 'real' research. There's defiantly tension around and security has beefed up in city and airports.. I do also feel theres a lot of sulleh who are happy with the attacks and secretly supporting isis..

Theres a vid on youtube 'muslims in east london..violence,racism' .. gives people a 'little' idea of sulleh here..(dont want to bombard the thread with vids)

Thanks but I was trying to gauge the feelings of residents of UK and possibly wider Europe.

Give it a rest mate.

@amardeep

Do these things have any ground level effect when you are out and about in Scandinavia?

Scandinavia has had loads of problems with foreign fighters to Syria. Sweden has some 400 foreign fighters (about 140 from a single city!) while Denmark has about 130. Norway has about 70. Scandinavia has a different approach in handling foreign fighters than rest of Europe. In only a smal number of cases they are put in jail. In majority of cases they are resocialised into society when they return through mentor program. The mentors help them with job and education as well as challenging their mindsets with the ambition of de-radicalizing them. Norway is a funny case since its been in denial for many years. Even after the Anders Breviik terrorist attack in 2011 where 70+ people were killed, they did not put any political initiatives to force in order to counter and fight futher right wing radicalization. They are trying to toughen up a bit in regards to islamists, but my impression from talking to loads of people from Norwegian government and municipality level is that the political levels are in denial... At local levels many are trying to set initiatives up..They seem to be serious about it but all display dissatisfaction with the political levels.

This is called the Scandianvian model- it is looked upon as quite hippie like in the rest of europe lol

Do you think ethnic men are generally respected in these places? Sometimes I think that some places (like England) try and subtly implement a two tier society (but very subtly without ever admitting or talking about it) based on racial lines. I think this feeds into the fundamentalism.

I think ethnic minorities feel more at home in sweden since the media and politicians dont demonize them. Due to this, neo nazism is quite big in sweden compared to rest of scandinavia. In Denmark ethnic minorities dont feel at home, - the government is right wing and for the past 15 years or so the main topic has been integration and immigrants. Loads of laws have been implemented targetting ethnic minorities - ie women with hijab and turban can't work as court judges.. Ethnic minorities below 24 can't marry someome from their own country. Due to ths many ethnic minorities move to sweden to be with their spouse. Norway is a mix - political correctnes but in recent years they've started puting more focus on the generel problems in society. Sweden and Norway appear to be quite good at integrating minorities.

Sweden has taken in some 100.000+ syrian refugees while denmark and norway have tried to stop them entering their countries.

I had a cousin who grew up in Sweden, he wasn't too complimentary about the place, but then that was decades ago.

Yeah, I agree.

I think a fair bit of it might be jealousy of 'asians' in general.
