Charan Sharan Ek Painda Jaye Chal, Satgur Kot painda... come

Recommended Posts

not sure if I got that shabad right.. but it means that if we take one step towards God.. then God takes millions of steps towards us.

can anyone explain me.. that what is that ONE STEP??

is it all the simran and nitnem we do?? or what really is that ONE STEP?

and do we need only ONE STEP towards God to meet Him? or How many steps do we need?

a krishna bhakt told me that they got the samething in there phil. and if u take just one step.. then God's gonna come and meet you and Hez gonna carry you all the way across.

Please blast your wisdom on sikhawareness.

A disciple who walks one step towards Guru to take his refuge and goes to him with devotion and humility, Guru advances to receive him (devotee) by taking million steps.

He who unites with the Lord by remembering the incantation of the Guru even once, the True Guru remembers him millions of time.

He who makes an offering of even a shell before the True Guru with loving worship and faith, the True Guru blesses him with the countless treasures of invaluable wealth that is Naam.

The True Guru is a repository of compassion that is beyond description and understanding. Therefore myriad salutations to Him because there is no one else like Him.

This is great gurbani vaak, this gurbani vaak again can be grasped at different levels can be grasped/perceived at different stages based on aspirant which aspect of divine he/she is drawn to and spiritual development stages.

For me personally, this gurbani vaak of charan sharan gur eek painda jai chal, satguru kot painda agei ho laita hai means

A disciple whose surat (intellect/consciouness/emotional awaken love bariaag) - walks one step (with effort be open receptive and is in empty place in meditation), Satguru kot painda agei ho laita hai - satgur- pure true consciouness/awareness as magnet will draw the seeker -receive him/her and ultimately consume him if seeker let it.

Because ultimately its game of love- our individualistic surat/egoic mindset has to give up-surrender put our hands up - look in the eye of satgur and give away in love one last step for once forever- loose gracefully in the game of love.

Nobody knows how this surrender must happen, this could happen all in once for some lucky ones, for some it takes years to go through deconstruction process, for some one leaf by leaf.

What a game of love and ultimate price one have to pay-this has to be this way, otherwise its not worth it has to be ego giving away in love to higher power .!!!
