It says monkey faced not exactly british?

Singh saab, what else do you think it can refer to? It probably doesn't refer to Marathas, who ended Mughal rule in large parts of India, before the British raj.

Waheguru jee i think (i maybe wrong) here in this context when sipahi says kids and bala pritam have faces of monkeys bc they are making funny faces ,so gurujee replies that one day these monkey faces will become khalsa and uproot mughal empire

Also whenever gurujee refer to some ppl from west as in akaal ustat gurujee refers to them as firangi

Often the sources refer to people from the West conquering India- could refer to Nadir Shah and Afghans as well

The conflict between Mughals and Pathans was also predicted by Sri Satguru jee (Tenth Master). Maharaaj refered to Ahmad Shah Abdali as the "dog from Kabul".
