ਤੈਥੋ ਹੀ ਬਲੁ ਰਾਮ ਲੈ ਨਾਲ ਬਾਣਾ ਰਾਵਣੁ ਘਾਇਆ ॥

Taitho Hee Balu Raam Lai Naala Baanaa Raavanu Ghaaeiaa ॥

Rama received power from Thee and he killed Ravana with arrows.

ਤੈਥੋ ਹੀ ਬਲੁ ਕ੍ਰਿਸਨ ਲੈ ਕੰਸ ਕੇਸੀ ਪਕੜਿ ਗਿਰਾਇਆ ॥

Taitho Hee Balu Krisan Lai Kaansa Kesee Pakarhi Giraaeiaa ॥

Krishna received power from Thee and he threw down Kansa by catching his hair.

ਅਭਿਮਾਨ ਉਤਾਰਨ ਦਿਉਤਿਆ ਮਹਿਖਾਸੁਰ ਸੁੰਭ ਉਪਾਇਆ ॥

Abhimaan Autaaran Diautiaa Mahikhaasur Suaanbha Aupaaeiaa ॥

Mahishasura and Sumbh were created for removing the pride of the gods.

ਚੰਡੀ ਦੀ ਵਾਰ - ੩/੩ - ਸ੍ਰੀ ਦਸਮ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ

 

 

These characters demons daitaans were created as they had created a lot of fear for the devtas in Tretayug as they became pride filled. 

 

So far to my understanding i think it has to be Rakatbeej/ Swartbeej in the Chandi Banis as his blood when dropping would create thousands of his roops forms.

Veer ji after Svart/ rakat beej dies Sumbha and Nisumbha are left in the story and after killing them the bani ends. This is the reaction of swart beejs death and what happens.

Many brave fighters with matted hair got up saing

Chottaan Paan Tabaalee Jaasan Judha No ॥

That drummers should sound the drums because they would go for war.

When the armies marched, the earth trembled

Like the shaking boat, which is still in the river.

ਧੂੜਿ ਉਤਾਹਾ ਘਾਲੀ ਖੁਰੀ ਤਰੰਗਮਾਂ ॥

Dhoorhi Autaahaa Ghaalee Khuree Taraangamaan ॥

The dust arose with the hooves of the horses

ਚੰਡੀ ਦੀ ਵਾਰ - ੪੪/੭ - ਸ੍ਰੀ ਦਸਮ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ

ਜਾਣ ਪੁਕਾਰੂ ਚਾਲੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਇੰਦ੍ਰ ਥੈ ॥੪੪॥

Jaan Pukaaroo Chaalee Dhartee Eiaandar Thai ॥44॥

And it seemed that the earth is going to Indra for a complaint.44.

ਸੁੰਭ ਨਿਸੁੰਭ ਪਠਾਇਆ ਜਮ ਦੇ ਧਾਮ ਨੋ ॥

Suaanbha Nisuaanbha Patthaaeiaa Jama De Dhaam No ॥

Sumbh and Nisumbh were dispatched to the abode of Yama

ਚੰਡੀ ਦੀ ਵਾਰ - ੫੫/੧ - ਸ੍ਰੀ ਦਸਮ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਸਾਹਿਬ

ਇੰਦ੍ਰ ਸਦਿ ਬੁਲਾਇਆ ਰਾਜ ਅਭਿਖੇਖ ਨੋ ॥

Eiaandar Sadi Bulaaeiaa Raaja Abhikhekh No ॥

And Indra was called for crowning him.

ਸਿਰ ਪਰ ਛਤ੍ਰ ਫਿਰਾਇਆ ਰਾਜੇ ਇੰਦ੍ਰ ਦੇ ॥

Sri Par Chhatar Phiraaeiaa Raaje Eiaandar De ॥

The canopy was held up over the head of king Indra.

The praise of the mother of the universe spread over all the fourteen worlds.

All the Pauris (stanza) of this DURGA PATH (The text about the exploits of Durga) have been composed

ਫੇਰਿ ਨ ਜੂਨੀ ਆਇਆ ਜਿਨਿ ਇਹ ਗਾਇਆ ॥੫੫॥

Pheri Na Joonee Aaeiaa Jini Eih Gaaeiaa ॥55॥

And that person who sings it, will not take birth again.55.

I think it is Bali (the king who appears in Vaman avtar). The story goes like this... 

When Bali was defeated, Vishnu ji was pleased with his devotion and thus gave him a boon of immortality (making him one of the 7 chiranjeevi), promised him that he will be the next Indar and also made him the emporer of the Asurs.

2. Bali- King in Vaman avtar

3. Kripacharya- uncle (mama) of Ashwatthama, kul-guru of the Kuru clan

4. Ashwatthama- warrior in mahabharat, son of dronacharya 

5. Vibishan- Brother of Ravan

6. Hanuman ji- Son of wind god (Vayu dev) and devotee of Ram 

7. Ved VYas- writer of Mahabharat

So, these people are immortal? Are they hiding in Kaljug or have they taken on new bodies?

Yes, they are hiding. I think Parshuram ji, Ved Vyas ji and Kripacharya ji is somewhere in the Himalayas.

Also parshuram ji are going to teach shashtar vidya to Kalki avatar in the future, so they are most likely meditating at the moment.

Ashwatthama ji is wandering in forests around the Himalayas, some claim they have met him. He also live with the Bheel or Bila tribe according to a pundit who wrote Mahabharat through listening to it from Ashwatthama ji, I have forgotten the pundit's name.

Bali ji lives in pataal lok.

Hanuman is also around, probably Himalayas and satsangs/temples in invisible form, a family, in kaliyug, has claimed to have met him a few centuries ago.

Vibhishan is said to have come to pay some visits to some people in south India or Sri Lanka (can't remember).
