Veer ji thats a very good question as during this time we had a chance to have darshan of Guru Sahib Ji but also the dangers that Sikh kaum faced a lot of problems as during Baba Deep Singh Ji's time and during Guru Gobind Singh Ji's time with the mugal empire.

 

But Gurbani has listed this world as terrifying ocean since during time. 

 

Also during Guru Jis time punjab was united unlike before the pre 1947 parathion etc.
