We have designed apps for children and adults looking to learn the basics of Punjabi. The apps are FREE, and there are NO ads. Available on IOS/Apple, Android, Windows 10/8Windows Phone and Kindle.

Amrit Punjabi has published sets of free tools with one simple goal - let's teach children Punjabi. Sikh and Punjabi children not in their homeland grow up in diverse languages, and may not learn Punjabi effectively. We hope that this contribution to the Sangat bears fruit.

Punjabi Alphabet - designed for children and adults looking to learn the basics of Punjabi; the Punjabi Alphabet (Panti Akhar, Panjabi, Panjabi Alphabet, Gurmukhi), common Animals, Fruit, Vegetables, Colors, Shapes and Numbers.

Punjabi Spelling - designed for children and adults looking to learn the spelling of common words in Punjabi. It helps build associations and encourages word and sound formations in the form of a game. With a core of more than 225 Punjabi words, the randomization used results in over 2,300 variations of words presented in the quizzes, and all the presented options are also randomized!

We do ask for donations … we ask for time :) … we ask people that are local to us to assist in our efforts … But people are busy, and this has basically been a family effort. And to put out polished tools, it takes time … to illustrate … it was a 20 hour per week for about 7 months to put out the last app - Punjabi Spelling Word Game for IOS

Do spread the word amongst your networks if you like the tools. And visit the AmritPunjabi.com website to see all our work.

Can you please confirm the above statement.

I was trying a twist on words … We ask for a donation of your time :) … basically we ask if anyone wants to help us in the effort (coding, artwork, sound, design, etc) … but we are finding that time is a commodity that's hard to come by.
