Where did the other teekakars get "Guru/us/Gurdwara" from. It's not in the original text.

The pronoun "ਹਮਾਰੇ" would indicate Guru saab's abode, ie, Gurudwara.

ਸੋ ਜੜ ਪਰਾ ਹਮਾਰੇ ਰਹਈ ॥

He kept lying/sitting at my place (Gurudwara or Guru's darbar)

What does this word mean?

@chatanga1

ਪਰਾ੍ word is present in the Punjabi dictionary.

One of its meanings is Ambush.

One possible interpretation:

ਸੋ ਜੜ ਪਰਾਹ ਮਾਰੇ ਰਹਈ ॥

ਤਾ ਕੋ ਕਛੂ ਨ ਮੁਖ ਤੇ ਕਹਈ ॥੨॥

He would get ambushed and beaten by his wife, but said nothing to her.

There is another Punjabi word ਪਰਾ੍ਂ , which means away, apart, etc.

Another possible interpretation:

He would receive beatings (from his wife) and stay away from her, but said nothing to her.

When I used to work in offices, I met plenty of married women who would shag anyone they fancied.

That's so gross and disgusting. Aren't these people scared of contracting HIV/AIDS, STD's or any other contagious infections?
