amardeep Posted November 2, 2018 Report Share Posted November 2, 2018 Singh the above does'nt allude to "kill the non-Sikhs" as per original post. The second shabad has an interesting uthanka behind it regarding a Mughal commander from Lahore that went out to kill Guru Arjan. He died on the way and then Maharaj composed the shabad. Veer ji take a look at these shabads from Guru Arjan Dev Ji that do talk about protection from enimies and what happened with Sulhi Khan. Also a lot of Sri Dasam Granth Sahib Ji Banis like Chandi Di Vaar, Shastar Naam Mala, Ugardanti, Chandi Chirtars 1&2, Sri Bhaguti Astotar mention how kirpan cuts eniemies and other warrior material for war. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

No decent human being should have a problem with it. It would be really surprising if anyone misinterprets the above verses, unlike the verses in the op.
