"Dukh bhanjan tera naam ji.. "

"Taat vao na lagai... "

And my most favorite "Mera Satguru Rakhwaala hoa,  dhaar kirpa Prabh haath de raakya HarGobind nava niroaa. "

And narrate taiyaa taap di sakhi during fever. I still do that for my family whenever required.

Gurbaani has been proven to possess healing properties,  be it mental or physical illness,  disability or spiritual weakness. 

Have u heard of

'sarab rog ka aukhad (medicine)  naam" Those people are curing 100s by simran and Gurbani

Such great is our Guru and 'his' bani

Bhen ji yes i have heard of Sarab Rog Ka Akkud Naam camp and i have been to their camp 4 times in the uk. It was a really nice experince i had with the simran at the time.

 

Thats really good bhen ji that your grandma did jaap of those shabads when someone was ill as the shabads gurbani can really help in those situations.
