When one feels oneself as a tiny part of this complete creation with so many planets, suns, galaxies, which brings out that kind of humility, so that one LONGS for Naam Daan, and beg Him for His bakhsheesh, and just cry in the vichora, is that some kind of bairaag too, Singh ji?

Vaisi Karan Bairaag seems to be the closest one, but not complete. Please enlighten with your experiences.

Thanks.

Bairaag is consider an very important factor in Bhagti Marg. Without Bairaag one cannot develop "un-conditional" love towards Vahiguroo.

There are stages of bairaag given above.

It's up to individual if they have drop of bairaag, river of bairaag or ocean(samundar) of bairaag.

More bairaag there is..one will have more love towards Vahiguroo and once there is unconditional love towards Vahiguroo nivas in the mind thats it..

The rays of light merge with the sun, and water merges with water.

One's light blends with the Light, and one becomes totally perfect.

I'm focused on singing. I'm detached with materialistic world and feelings like lust and greed. I have blindly praised shiva since the moment I started understanding things (frm my early childhood) that too without asking for anything (just because thinking / ponouncing his name makes me feel lighter and blissful). I neglect unnecessary things and people in life be they friends, colleagues or relatives. Music, writing, reading spiritual books and articles, photography are the only things that make me truly happy (basically anything that is spiritual or artistic). What category do I fall in ?!

Can anybody help ??...

I am here cuz of clearly a state that of bairaag I am experiencing so would like to share from this experience. I didn’t know there were stages or types of bairaag (thanks to this post ). All I experience is yes there’s different states of bairaag but in order to be in the utmost state to be one with Akaal Purakh, a complete surrendering is required. Every time my mind starts to label it as “me” , an inner voice tells me it’s all you. Tu hi tu hi. Ultimately the realisation of Paramatma becomes present which leads to darshan and complete surrender. This is truly Gurprasad cuz in no way “the haumai” could have done that. If it’s false surrender or bairag then it will show in our life choices or situations. But the inner state of peace tells the truth.
Have complete faith in Gurbani because it’s a true path that leads to SACH/Truth/Naam.

There’s no desires left. No moh for friends/family and no hate or anything too. Everything/everyone appears IK and you just bow down in humility to the one.
Dhan Sikhi. Dhan Akaal Purakh Maharaj 🙏

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh,

Can the 9 types of bairaag be considered 9 stages, where you progress from each stage to the next? Or is it more like once you have one type of bairaag you'll be in that state throughout your bhagti until samadi?
