Makke Madine Di Gosht is available in book format from Patial university publications. The editor of the book is Kulwant SIngh who has gone through the old texts of the Makke Madina GOsht and produced it for the world. The answer to the initial question is yes. that is what GUru Nanak Dev Ji state in the Gosht.

Well worth a read it has a lot of vedant and adhyatmak gyan in the discussions between Guru nanak Dev Ji and the various imams, quazis and mullas that they meet on their travels to the Arabian land

Although they may contain some interesting info - I would digest them with a handful of salt - he was the son of the murderer of Guru Arjun Dev Ji (who was also known to have attempted to poison the child Hargobind Sahib), he was part of a fake Guru lineage - and is known for calling himself Mahalla Satva(n) in his poetry.

despite Maharban's background he was a great scholar none the less. His works about the early Sikh history are widely quoted by Sikh historians. He has a reason to write something biased about the fifth Guru due to his family's dispute with succession, but he has no reason to be make up lies about the 1st Guru since there was no dispute about the 1st Guru and his family.

I agree that he was articulate and his hostility would have been towards the 5th Master onwards, but you must accept the fact that he had ran a counter gur-gaddi to Sache Patshah - therefore his intentions and matt cannot be 100%trusted - including the representations he makes regarding the earlier Gurus, as there is no integrity, honesty or divine blessing in him.

I am not saying we should throw his works out the window, just that we should be overly cautious when reading them.
