Bro, don't confuse Astrology (a field of study) with Brahamgyan. A person does not need to be highly spiritual to study Astrology (same applies to studying Physics, Chemistry, etc). Gurbani teaches us that whatever happens to us, is already written in our destiny. Astrology is the means to access that information. Having said that, one can change his destiny by doing plenty of naam simran. When a person reaches Brahamgyan, then he can access any field of study.
