  1. Press Release The much anticipated latest addition to the revolutionary Shaheedi series is now set for its customary annual release. The Immortal Productions team have delayed the release until October for a special purpose. In October this year, Sikhs across the globe will be celebrating one of the most momentous milestones since the 300th anniversary of the Khalsa in 1999. Guru Gobind Singh Jee completed the chain of human Guruship and endowed the spiritual throne to the Holy Guru Granth Sahib Jee in October 1708. 299 years later, Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee has been reigning as the everlasting King of the Sikhs. This has served as the inspiration for the latest IP offering. The tercentenary celebration of the Guruship of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee will be undertaken on a massive scale across the globe in October 2008. Therefore, it has been decided that it would be fitting if the album was released to coincide with these celebrations. However, it is vital to remember that the CD therefore will be available exclusively online. Inspiring vocals, haunting music and spine tingling lyrics return to take us on a historic and rousing journey. A journey that eulogises Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee in an era where there exists hundreds of fakes and pretenders, who's sole aim is to demolish the unity of the Sikhs by severing their faith in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee. Traditional Punjabi Dhad, Sarangi and Kaveeshar fused with contemporary music pay a tribute to our beloved Guru. Also in celebration of this anniversary, Immortal Productions are releasing a special dual CD format. The second CD contains a unique discourse in English on the importance of Guru Jee in our Daily lives. This format contributes to the ethos of Immortal Productions to break through language and cultural barriers and inspire all Sikhs with their glorious religious heritage. Find out more about the latest album online atfrom www.shaheedi.com. The hoodies and t-shirts have been produced and are also available online, so be sure to get yours while stocks last! The CD is to be officially launched on the 13th November, 7pm at Guru Nanak Gurdwara, Sedgley Street, Wolverhampton. Alternatively you can pre order your copy from the Boss Stall at www.boss-stall.com. 8. Immortal Productions alongside Tigerstyle, XS-BASS and introducing Narinder Singh & Surinder Singh proudly present their latest addition to the revolutionary Shaheedi series: Shaheedi 400 - Saint Soldier After the resounding success of the previous three albums, the Immortals team have released their latest album. With this latest offering the purpose remains the same, to halt the fading memories of our fallen brothers and sisters. 400 years of spilt blood has not been in vain, nor has the attempt of many, to ensure that their sacrifice is never forgotten. Dedicated to Dhan Guru Arjan Dev Ji, this fourth album commemorates 400 years of sacrifice, by countless saintly warriors who abandoned the comforts of their homes and loved ones, to walk on a path where mortal death was a near certainty. The pulsating music and harrowing vocals are contrasted with a sombre tone and poignant lyrics to symbolise the complexity of sacrifice. Not only is it an act that inspires courage and valour, but also an act that offers reverence and gratitude to the Creator as a beautiful flower is plucked from His garden. Traditional dhad, sarangi and kaveeshar have been fused with modern and western sounds such as the guitar to create a captivating and innovative sound that is unparalleled. Not only are the tracks enthralling to listen to, but the elegance of the lyrics instils a sense of pride that links us back to our sisters & brothers-in-arms, who have sacrificed their present to secure our future. We pay homage to these sons and daughters of Guru Ji, who have engraved their names into those chapters of history that glow to inspire our glory. This album is devoted to them, and all the budding flowers within us all, that may once again bloom and transform the term sacrifice. Available across the World at Vaisakhi celebrations in April 2006. The Album can also be purchased from the Immortal Productions website at www.shaheedi.com. Press and media can claim a free copy from the Immortal Productions team. For distribution enquiries and to claim your free copy email info@shaheedi.com

  13. Vaheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Vaheguru Ji Ki Fateh Shaheedi Immortality II : The Second Rising "Sir Jave Ta Jave Mera Sikhi Sidhak Na Jave" (if I die then so be it, but may my faith in Sikhi remain firm) This year commemorates the 20th anniversary of the attack on the most holiest Sikh shrine Sri Darbar Sahib (The Golden Temple) Amritsar along with 40 historical Sikh Shrines and the November massacres, which left thousands dead, wounded, destroyed and homeless. As these events fade from public memory, it is the victims that continue to grieve with their hopes of securing justice from the Indian state, and loved ones returning, rapidly eroding. A whole generation of Sikh youth have been wiped out in India during the last two decades of the anti-Sikh lynching through ‘police encounters’, which were in reality extra judicial executions, or commonly known to Human Rights Organizations as fake police encounters. Many others have been tortured to death, some missing never to return to their loved ones, thousands remain in prison and hundreds on death row. As the sons and daughters of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, we must ask ourselves what we can do. Let us start by remembering the sacrifices of the four sahibzades and the countless other Sikhs who have given their all to protect the honour of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. This album is dedicated to those individuals who have given their all to uphold the tradition of martyrdom, we pay homage to the Shaheeds of the Sikh Nation from past to present, those who continue to tread the path and those who will play the game of love through shaheedi – they will be immortal and never forgotten. Profits from the sale of this CD will go back into doing sewa, the contributors have not taken a penny in producing this project. We hope you will enjoy the CD and hopefully we will all Awake (Jago) to the suffering off our brothers and sisters back home and take positive action in attaining justice! The launch was at the Southall Nagar Kirtan on the 4th April 2004. The CD will be available at Slough, Glasgow and Leicester on the 11th April 2004.
