You don't need to combat anything. Silence is the answer !

Good day everyone, After having spent years contemplating about Truth, God, Sikhism, Gurus and time spent studying Astronomy, Universe and meditating. I have been compelled to share my inner feelings and experiences. Before I begin allow me to introduce myself. From the very beginning as far as I can recall, I have always been interested in finding the answers to the basic questions that mankind has always asked. I have been always interested in studying and knowing more about the Universe , our place in the universe, our existence and purpose in human life. The consciousness and basically what really is the Truth. Born as a Sikh and studying Guru's message, observing and looking at the Sikh community. Studying Science and Astronomy and this is what I have observed and feel an urge to share with the Sikh community : We as Sikhs have completely went astray from the very basic teaching of the Sikh Gurus. We like to talk big , wear big kirpans, talk about how strictly we follow the rehat maryada, yet we fail to even observe and feel the pain of a poor person dying on the street or someone going without food. Its like a policeman who takes great pride in wearing a uniform, but never enforces the law. We have become more like a religion. A religion ----- which divides humanity. "I am a Sikh". "I am a Hindu". "I am a Muslim". So from the time a child is born. Their religion is fixed in the world. Our Guru's message was spiritual and not a religious one. The Guru's cared about people all equally regardless of their religion, caste or any other thing. So here in the very first place we have slipped down a very slippery slope. A piece of stone lying on a ground doesn't have a religion. A dog walking on the street doesn't have a religion. Yet that instance of God exists in all creation , all equally. He himself is the Creator and He himself the creation. He is pervading everywhere and everything is made up of him. Just as the basic building blocks of matter is proton, neutrons and electrons .. in the same way He is the building block of all Creation. At one point you have religion with all the superficialities , superstitions, and at another point you have Science that is time and again bringing in new discoveries and new knowledge about the Universe. At one point we see the images of Hubble Telescope, which shows galaxies beyond galaxies at unimaginable distances and points and places in the Universe from where the first ray of light would take billions of years to reach Earth. It makes us realize the timeless and infinite span of the Universe. The planet Earth is infinitely smaller than the grand size of the Universe in which it lies in. So at one point we have these amazing discoveries that is truly showing us our place in the UNIVERSE and how insignificant and how small we are and how we are all one and Yet we have people still fighting in the name of religion 2015. Sikhs in Punjab fighting, arguing with kirpans, beating others for not following rehat, getting all aggressive, over all politics, removing turbans and not just Sikhs. Our minds are not at peace and we are like MAD men and women. We need to forget everything, from our skin colors to our religions and our superficial cultures and learn to be together and feel the oneness that is the real source of everything. Even if there was all peace on Earth or all war on Earth, it would not make a bit difference in the grand cosmic arena that we live in. We fail to look at how insignificant our position is in the Universe and instead of truly contemplating on the real philosophical message of Guru ... we find ourselves in a whole different world of chaos, arguments, fights. Our minds have failed to transcend the mundane and see beyond ourselves.
