  1. my dear friend GUV ..... the lines you stated in the above quote are saloks of kabir dass ji from ang no. 1365 of sri guru granth sahib ji...... here kabir ji is saying that for worshiping the god it is not necessary to have hair. or in simple words we can understand that if one thinks that he has hairs or he is blad then he is automatically worshiping the god. then it is not ture. even i never said this in any of my msg....... but for BEING A SIKH ONE HAS TO keep his/her hairs. let me give you an example ...... sikhism is like a school where u have to wear a dress to study in that school or for being called a student of that school ...... that does'nt mean that you can't study without dress. studying & being a student (sikh) is differnet things regards
  2. my dear friend beast .... we are here not to discuss abt how/what u feel abt sikhism and khalsa .... infact we are here to discuss what sikhism/sikh rehyat maryada/guru's orders says. as we are into sikhawareness.com evne though if u try to read my last msg dedicated to you again ..... with open mind & clear eyes ... you will definately fina an answer from it. pls do keep this in mind ....... when i talk/discuss abt sikhism i never put my thought or belive in it ....... i will always say what logics of sikhism says regards
  3. well Mr. Beast ..... i am not remembering the page of suraj prakash in which it is clearly mentioned that cutting hairs was prohibited by guru nanak dev ji himself. anyways ..... we should try to live in present rather then past. AN ORDER of keeping hairs if for the sikhs placed by the guru gobind singh ji, who are also called khalsa, khalsa & sikh is the same thing. infact khalsa if a defination of sikhism which signifies THE PURE. it means the sikhi & A sikh is pure & the one who is not pure is not a sikh. Mr. Beast you tried to say that "MANN saf hona chaida hai, kesh rakhan nal koi pharak nahi painda", just think why guru gobind singh, ho was A SIKH himself kept his hairs, KEE OONA THE MANN MAILA SEE, ISN'T HE WAS TRUE TO HIMSELF & OTHERS ...... my dear this is maryada.... A DICIPLINE for sikhs it is an order, AN ORDER...... NOT A SUGESTION, WHERE U CAN PUT UR EXCUSES read it twice & try to understand rather then keep on argueing without any logic regards

Mr. sexy singh ji .... we are not here to discuss what you feel but we are here what sikhism says ok.... let me ask the ppls ..... who is the better one ..... the one who has adopted his guru's maryada (dicipline) OR the one who spaled on his guru's face by becomeing PATIT (cuttings hairs, relation with non-partner, eating halal meat & consumeing tobbaco ...... kicks him out of religion & makes him PATIT, this is according to sikh rehyat maryada & no one can argue/change it)
  5. my dear friend i think you have took sgpc & sri akal thakt sahib the same thing. SGPC is a non-tradeing firm (non-profitable) which is provideing necessary help to gurdwaras & to sikhism (like opening schools, provideing sewadars & granthi singhs, publishing of guru granth sahib ji & guthkas, supporting financial/material help to financially weak gurdwaras etc etc) akal thakt sahib is the same institution carrying on from the time of guru har gobind sahib ji (6th guru) as i mentioned in my above & now as we don't have any human guru, so the panj pyarays & granthi (of all the five thakts) take decission for the goodness of sikhism & that decission is must for every sikh to follow as per order by 6th guru. gurfateh
  6. my dear friend harpreet, an institution i am talking is sri akal thkat sahib. from the time of guru har gobind sahib ji (6th guru) babaji use to give orders from there only. through their wazirs & that practise is still happening. even the order of takeing guru granth sahib ji as our 11th guru was delivered by there only. secondly you asked me to explain the term deep i used in my above msg. by deep i mean understand the logic of sikhism & for those logic u need to read the sikh rehyat maryada published by sri akal thkat sahib & bani of sri guru granth sahib ji. gur fateh

"just think why guru gobind singh ji did'nt added any histroy of gurus/sants in Guru granth sahib ji, coz its really not required, it might confuse our path" let me put an example to make it very clear ...... suppose u study in some school, its good that u know when ur school build up, how many years it took etc etc ....... is it is really required to know that one MIGHT worn a cap while building your school or not ....... never forget guru granth sahib ji is bani of 35 ppls not a single one. by the above line in inverted commas, i am trying to say that you won't find any history of gurus in guru granth sahib ji ..... & as we all know that guru granth sahib ji was ASSAMBLEB (i have'nt wrote written here) by guru gobind singh ji...... he might have added history's of gurus in guru granth sahib ji ..... but he did'nt ....... TRY TO GET THE MSG OF GURU GOBIND SINGH JI language is a medium of communication ...... as many languages u know it will be easy to communicate with other ppl & it will be easy to spread the msg of guru granth sahib ji. "murakh sach na janyea mannmukhi janam gavaya !! vich duniya kahay aaya!!" babaji says ppl are stupid who listen to there heart(mann) but the one who follows his/her guru called gursikh (a student of a teacher) no doubt sikh means a seeker of truth ..... but the socity we are living has confused us so much by mixing us with hindus ....... (today sikh woman do varts, sikhs worship pics, lighting jot, cutting hairs etc etc many more are there) we need to know the logic (vichardhara) of sikhism & thats why we are here try to understand the deapth & logic of sikhism (any new readed reading my comments PLS PLS PLS read my above comments also) fateh
  8. guv, do read my comments again "i said I AM NOT REALLY CONCERN" i am stateing my point very individually & what i am trying to say is we should talk abt the bani of guru, which is real guru. already we have confused the society & ourselfs by creating pictures of gurus, some ppl call guru nanak GOD, some ppl show mala in their hands, some ppl say he did'nt left his body behind, when he died & babaji says "swas swas simroo gobind !!" that u don't need a mala for simran. comeon my dear friends...... try to understand the guru ...... guru is a logic, a logic of life, a dicipline, a path to get a god, he is really nothing more then that. so we SHOULD (I HAVE'NT WROTE MUST HERE) TALK ABT THE LOGICS OF GURU (VICHARDHARA) INSTEAD OF THAT HE WORN A CAP OR NOT. WHAT WILL WE FOUND OUT OF THAT, IF I MAKE ONE WEBSITE & PLACE A PIC OF GURU NANAK CLEAN SHAVED WITH PROPER STORY, FACTS ETC ETC ........   11. summeet defination of manmat is not that confusy like u have made it. mannmat=mann+mat......... MANN .... as per we humans have the nature of kam, krodh, lobh, moh & hankar.... whatever we do in our daily life shows a lil bit of these. this is call MANN. ok let me give u an example... approxmatily no child would love to go to school. this is his/her mannmat but his/her guru (in form of parents) sends him/her to school (no matter by love or by scolding etc etc) leading a diciplined life under the guideance of guru granth sahib ji & sri akal thkat sahib means gurmat (according to sikh religion) babaji says "murakh sach na janyee !! manmukhi janam gavaya !! vich duniya kahaay aaya!!" breathing the same air without being an amritdhari is not mannmat infact calling himself a sikh with clean shaven faces is mannmat

WELL PHEENA BROTHER i guess u should read my comments again ..... i had appreciated ur points u made on quality of reading, even babaji teaches us "kya paryeaa kya sunyeaa kya baid purana gunyeaa!! paray sunay kya hoyee jo saha na milyeaa soi!!" what i was adding in ur comments that we can't change the quantity, its like we can't make japji sahib of 10 pauries instead of 38.
  13. there is a difference in between sant & a guru..... u may use ur brain for filtering sant's wording, but when u talk abt guru NO ARGUMENTS REMAINS LEFT what may ever he says is not just a real truth infact its a HUKAM. u may question/argue him before making him a guru BUT BUT BUT ones u have said him a guru then no argument left. it is same like if army commander orders his soldier to shoot his father, soldier will not take another sec to think abt, it he will shoot his father at ones.
  14. listen my dear brother we sikhs have to follow what akal takth is saying (no arguments) & according to akal takth maryada raihraas starts from "sodar tayra kiha so ghar kiha ........................ nanak nam milay tan jivaa tan man thevay haryaa" well i read some comments above stated by one brother .... saying quality does matter more then quantity, i do agree with you on this point BUT keep this is mind that we can't change quantity. this is sikh maryada & babaji did'nt even allowed their son's to change it. it is same like that we have to stay in a school for 6 hrs no matter how much quality studying hrs we have in it.

N30 SINGH this is hukam of guru gobind singh ji (akal takth sahib) that every sikh SHOULD take amrit & become khalsa. no matter who so ever culture & caste they belong. sikhs does'nt have any caste system. ppl who say i am jaat sikh, khatri sikh, etc etc are not just fooling themselfs infact they are giving wrong & curropted msg to the whole world minimum MUST critrion for being a sikh or to be called a sikh is 1) one has to keep his/her HAIRS UNCUT. 2) physical relation with only you are married. 3) can't eat non-veg prepared with muslim technique (HALAL) 4) can't eat TOBACOO along with this one has to put his/her full faith in babaji (guru granth sahib ji) & dicipline ordered by sri akal thakth sahib. this is according to the sikh rehyat maryada. so we can't change it & can't argue with it.
  16. helloo guys one guy put his point that "The Guru and his Sants have blessed childless with children, blind with vision, poor with riches." but let me tell you that babaji says "nanak kay ghar kewal naam !!" sikhism is not a religion of chamatkar infact karam matters ..... all u can have from guru is naam & dicipline, when u will have that you will be richest in very sector. (orchids) seems to be very confused abt some astrological tips or whatever, never forget on thing orchid that a sikh belives what his guru says & babaji says that "prabh kaa simran sab tay uchaa !! prabh kay simran udhray muchaa !! "

"very imp" hellooo ..... i started reading the msgs from the top .... where someone has made his point that there is no flaws in any religion.... remeber that babaji says "hindu aana turkhu kana dona tahi giani seiyana !!" ...... "buut puj hindu muyea turkh muyea ser nevay !! ooi lai jaray ooi lai gaday teri gat doona na paay!! " by this babaji is proveing that FLAWs are there, there are many points where babaji teaches such things. FlAWS were there thats why guru nanak dev ji made differnet aarti.
  18. well we got several religions & by those we got several ways to worship god, according to SIKHISM respect & worship have lot difference in them. its like giving respect to ur class teacher in ur school & studying in school. in SIKHISM logic of worship/simran is to make you feel strong, so you might not get away from your right path, for example babaji says "aay janam tumharay lakhay madho!!" & "mayra mujh may kich nahi!! jo kich hai so tayra!!" simran/worship is a prectise of "aarpan" giving urself to god.
  19. but i guess we need to know the right way of worshiping the god ..... as babaji says "ram ram karta sab jag phiray !! ram na paya jaay !!" ........ here babaji means that just by saying ram ram or waheguru waheguru or doing path etc etc is not a right/sufficient way to worship the god, we need to do the good jobs also
